I was 9 when I started yes...nine...lol...
I still smoke..it has gotten to hard to quit I am kinda screwed unless I just up and quit somehow..or maybe a miracle could come into play?

What if, when/if I see you at Kumoricon, I slap you across the face really hard? Would that count as miracle enough? :0

My Mum quit cold turkey after like 20 years.
She just got into running instead.
My Dad however has tried everything.. patches, gum etc and nothing has worked.
So it's different for everyone...

But I know what you're going through. Not from personal experience, just from my friends. A few of them are trying to quit, but it is rough. One of them did try patches, gum, everything, but didn't work for him. A couple others are just gradually (trying to) smoke less and less, or at the very least, limit how many they smoke a day.
