She was a little grumpy from the fall, and the lack of the catch, especially as Dafina brought the rabbit back, catching it so quickly! As she was pushed back down so she could eat the rabbit her heart gave a little nervous flutter, One ear perking at his words.
But his story eased her mind and she laughed too, it was a good story and she'd never ran into a lone tree that was obvious to see... yet. She was mostly a tripper. Her tail beat against the ground a little, though at him trying to lick at her muzzle she jerked her head back a little.
She'd ment no offence, she'd just been surprised by the action because only her mother had ever licked her or helped clean her face. She pressed her paw down a little and winced, looking back to him. "It is.. okay, I just need to keep pressure off of it, I think. Not the worse that has happened.." She stated and then sighed lightly, eyes flicking to the sky.
She offered him a warm smile, looking back to him. "Thank you for the rabbit."

"It's just a rabbit" He stared down at her paw. "Maybe I should stay with you, to help you get around until it heals!" he seem more than a little anxious. "Since, what if one of those really big fuzzy things comes around and decides you look like a rabbit? You'll need someone to tell him you're not a rabbit and help you get away if he decides to eat you!" Dafina wagged his tail. He laid down by the female he was proably a little closer than either of them would have liked but he was concerned for this female, And he didn't want to have to leave her now.
(I kept refreshing thinking why hasn't she poseted? And then I saw i had to go to the next page )

Stay with her? What gave him that idea! She was big, and allowed to be on her own. That was what her momma had told her, hadn't she? "What big fuzzy things?" She sounded a little nervous about that. Did she look like a rabbit at all? Her ears stood straight up. "It isn't... that hurt.." She said slowly, unsure how to tell him 'hey i just met you and i dont think a stranger should take care of me'. What an awkward moment, eh?
( xd ahah glad you did notice, though.)

Dafina jumped up "You've never seen the big fuzzy things!" He paced back and forth "Well See i came upon this thing.. it was huge! It had to be as many of 10 of me! It was all fuzzy around it's neck and it could have put my hold rear end legs and all in it's mouth if it wanted to. But it didn't understand me or something, and the females they aren't half as fuzzy but they are still just as big!" Dafina was panting and seemed very scared. His eyes were huge.

Binifu yelped slightly "Calm down!" She breathed, a little worried. "Why, those sound like lions!" She and her mother used to look at them from a far, she'd never gotten close to one and now that he said that she didn't think she wanted to. "They sound terrible."

"I wouldn't know too much about them though I only have ever seen one in my whole life! But that's why you need me incase one comes by!" He paced around and laid back down to the female. Why could he ever like such a female and so instantly... "You need a nick name!" Dafina gave everyone nick names, he never called them what everone else did... "What if I call you Rabbie?" He giggles "Since you are natural like the rabbits but they seem to know you want to eat them... And if you want I can help you hunt! And we can catch rabbits together"

Well that did make sense, she wouldn't want a lion eating her. "Well, alright. Only cause I think those lions sound scar... rabbie?" She made a face and shook her head no. "Oh c'mon, just call me Binifu! Or Bini!" She nipped at his maw playfully, laughing. "Less you want me to come up with some funny name for you!"

"Funny name!!!" He glared at her. "Dafina is already a funny name IT"S A GIRLS NAME!" this floured him, but as he was nipped he totaly forgot about names. "I like Rabbie" he said. And he played licked at her snout and growled, But remembering her paw, "We can play when you're paw isn't so sore. I'd hate for it to get hurt anymore than it is. Don't worry I won't let a lion eat you."

Binifu giggled. "Dafina, but it's nice. Besides it's easily shortened to Daf." Which sounded much more masculine. "And I don't like Rabbie." She pouted. And then nodded. She liked games a lot, though not tag or hide'n'seak when she was it.

It'd been a long day, And now the sun was begining to set. "It's going to be dark soon." Dafina laid down realllllllllllllly close to Rabbie. "You get some rest, maybe your paw will be better when the sun wakes." Dafina's eyes were big staring into the night. But he was tired. But he fought the urge to sleep. He wanted to protect his new found friend.

Binifu sighed lightly, he didn't say wether or not he'd call her her real name or the name he'd made up for her, oh well. "MM, you should sleep too." She said slowly, yawning and wiggling a little bit away from him before she rested her head lightly on her paws, more on the right one than the left, and shutting her eyes.

Dafina trotted off that night sneaking away from Rabbie. ((He got into a fight with Jamaa just to fill you in))
As the sunrose Dafina was just returning. He was bloody and red in placed he used to be white. "Rabbie?" he tried to wake his new friend. "Rabbie wake up... I need your help." Dafina had returned to the only wild dog he could knew where they were besides Jamaa, who was the one who he had just been fighting with. As he stood he refused to put his hind paw down. He had bone showing though where the skin was cut wide open. It was still bloody and happened to be relatively clean since he could not walk on it. "Rabbie I need your help!" He sounded more urgent.

Binifu shifted a little and groaned, she did not want to wake! But something of his words must have gotten to her, because after a moment her eyes snapped open. His second time saying those words she was already scrambling to her paws, nose thick with the scent of metallic blood! "Daf, what happened!" She whined out, eyes wide as they flickered over his body, taking in the blood. She swallowed as she spotted the paw and whined more, that was icky looking!
"You need to clean!" She gasped out and immidetly began to lick at some of his less intimidating wounds.

Dafina whinched and moved and danced around "It's hurts!" He'd yell and prance more and ever so often "Ouch! Don't do that!" He knew that this female wouldn't do anything to harm him. But it hurt so much. "I got into a fight with another Male. He is rasigin my friends pups horrible, they are snotty and disobidient and he took-" Dafina stopped "He um.. There was this female.." Dafina became more weak and fell onto his side. "Just worry about my paw, the rest of me is pretty okay, it doesn't hurt as much as my paw."

Her head snapped back at his whines and she whined back, though when he fell to his side she slid over. "My mother always used to tell me it was always about the female.. I am not sure I get that saying very well, though." She was trying to cheer him up, but she wasn't sure how. "I... do you.. want me to clean.. that?" She said, her voice small. She didn't like being able to see the bone!
