Lacavii stood perfectly still with his ears perked forward. As Ezhno spoke Lacavii's expression became rather puzzled. A hunter? What was this lion talking about? At Ezhno's last sentence Lacavii's expression was complete and utter suprise. "Stay?! What do you mean?"

Ezhno flicked his spade-shaped tailfeather in a show of irritation. "In the pride, what did it sound like I meant? You can stay and be useful, and be fed until you're of an age to be a proper hunter, or..." He let his claws show, the silent threat clear. "You'll leave these lands with a few reminders not to return."

Lacavii frowned at Ezhno and his threat. "I'm not afraid of you!" He stated bluntly trying to look braver than he felt. "Threatening is rude and uncalled for. All you have to do is ask." Lacavii said and then went silent for a moment before saying. "I'll stay..."

Ezhno chuckled and shook what mane he had. "Ah, I was messing with you. I wouldn't rough up a cub. There's a cave nearby...should still have some food left if the scavengers didn't find it." He'd need to hunt again soon, but there was enough meat there for a cub.

Lacavii nodded at Ezhno's words and then trotted off in the direction of the cave Ezhno had spoke about. When he reached the mouth of the cave Lacavii spotted an interesting looking bird. It was violet in color with bright green wings. He trotted up to where it was sitting on the low branch of a tree beside the cave. The bird simply eyed him and tilted it's head to the side. "Hello Lacavii." The little bird said. Lacavii's expression went from curious to shocked. "You know my name?!" Lacavii exclaimed. The little bird just simply nodded and then flew away leaving Lacavii alone in front of the cave mouth.

Ezhno stretched as he opened his eyes and looked out of the cave mouth. Lacavii had grown into a teen, and was already beginning to take on some of the duties of a hunt brother. True, with only two mouths to feed so far that wasn't hard to handle. And with Ezhno now a full grown adult demonic, he could handle most prey with ease. Few expected an assault from the sky. Gold eyes flicked from side to side as he glanced about for Lacavii.

Lacavii strode through the bush around the cave in which he and Ezhno resided and entered the cavern sitting down next to Ezhno. Lacavii dropped from sitting on his haunches to lying on his side. "There's like nothing to do." Lacavii said with a hefty sigh.

Her steps were slightly staggered, her panting lead to another sign that she was in the thickest of labor, and yet she continued forward. Her beloved was only a couple steps away, her daughter from an unknown male raced ahead of her, her brother at her side. They were looking for they're daddy. With mews and cries, they called out to him.
Twisted could hear the cry of her cubs, with a groan she winced as the pain raced through her sides. She was going to beat him for this, the cubs she carried werent going to wait. Stumbling as she took another step, she fell to her side. Laying there, panting she wished her cubs wings to find him...she needed him...

Wings lifting and falling as they carried him through the sky, Ezhno was patrolling the edges of his territory when he saw a familar speck of cream. Descending, his heart leapt as he realized she was on her side...and... His wings nearly ceased beating in shock as he realized she must be pregnant. And...coming all this way?! Folding his wings, he plummeted from the sky to land at her side, tail lashing anxiously. "Twisted..."

She lifted her head and smiled at him, her pale pink tongue dipped in and out of her mouth. She tried to get to her paws, and in doing so she let out a call to Zareb and Miliani letting them know to come back. She closed her eyes as her sides rolled with the movement of cubs. " Surprise?" She said softly, she knew she was having many cubs this time, more than she had thought. But she wasnt going to give birth on the boarders...unless she had to.

Ezhno bent down to nuzzle Twisted, spreading his wings to shelter her. Inwardly he wondered where the hell Lacavii was...just one adult male and two cubs weren't going to be enough if predators came near. "A bit surprised yes...but pleasantly I think."

Twisted gave a soft purr, she spotted the two forms of her cubs racing back towards her. She watched as they neared and in turn nuzzled Ezhno before slinking into the shade to watch what happened.
Sitting back down, she slowly laid back down once again. She couldnt move anymore, they wouldnt allow it. With a whimper a contraction raced through her, her claws dug into the earth as the first water bag broke. She was indeed in labor now.

Ezhno's flakes quivered, but he refused to allow himself to show any more hint of nervousness. He had to be strong, even though he had no idea what was going to happen next...he knew next to nothing of birthing. He pressed his forehead against her fur, lending silent comfort and support. "I'm gonna have to make this up to you somehow..."

Her head flung back with a soft laugh, "Is that a fact?" she whimpered out as she tried to hide the painful faces she made during labor. While in the middle of a hard contraction, she began to push.
Her claws dug into the earth as she arched back, with a deep breaths she pushed as hard as she could, she could feel the cub begin to show.
A cub of a wet yellowish colored coat began to show, with whimpers as he wiggled against the earth. The first feeling of his mothers tongue against his coat brought warmth around him as he mewed and wiggled against her side. His coat a vibrant yellow hue as he dried out, his front paws were a warm orange, outlined with a teal blue, the same blue streaked down his ears like tiger stripes. A more vibrant blue hue outlined a clay red on his back legs. With a whimper and mew, he finally began to feed, having found what he was searching for.

Ezhno's eyes widened with wonder, though he stayed where he was, too overwhelmed by the fact he was looking at a new cub...one he had taken part in creating. "Wow..."
