Why the song fits Because, it speaks of the death cof a lover, due to the other. It fits her because it speaks of hhaving killed someone, in this case, however, it is mainly guilt for Rita. Also, the wanting to be with them again, at very serious means.

Why the song fits Besides the reference to eyes being emeralds in the begining (Ash) there's just little things throughout the entire song that I could see them saying once their older. From Ash telling Yuki that she'll be his shoulder to cry on to Yuki promising that he'll be better when he's older every time she worries about him.

Then, of course, there's this line: "I've been dropped out, burned up, fought my way back from the dead." Ash was dropped out of somewhere into this world. In her past she was 'burned up', as everyone will eventually find out and, as a ghost, she's made her way back from the dead in order to be there for those that she cares about.

Why the song fits He thinks that he's a monster but, as the days go by, he realizes that if someone else sees something else that it just might be there. Why the song fits Colette was born to be a sacrifice of sorts, "It's a cross I need to bear" is how she views it. She's accepted the fact she was born to die for the sake of the world basically, and when it happens..
"I have secrets I won't share" she refuses to tell anyone, because she doesn't want the pain of having them ask her not to.
She'll probably run away and not tell anyone, not wanting to worry them.
Anyone that does follow her will see her changes and whatnot.
