Rahu froze where he was. he had planed just to walk off but at hearing that, he wondered what that ment and was now full of even more mixed emotions. standing there silent, he did not know what to say or do. Aruna had been on his mind and he could not seem to get her out of it. he turned to look at her once more cold and calm now. " you think your the only one. after that last day we met, you invaded my mind. mayde be question things about myself and what i believed. i have no clue how you did that but you did." turning away from her again he started to walk away slowly. just seeing and talking to Aruna made his insides boil in rage. he was tired of talking, and planed to go somewhere where no one could find him.

She snorted angrily. "I hardly think I'm the only one! I knew you had troubles, and I'd sooner hope you'd forget about me!" She walked after him unconsciously, not quite done with him yet. "Rahu! You stubborn idiot, listen to me!" She knew he was listening, but he was listening. Not the way she wanted him to. He was listening with his ears, but not with a rational, reasoning mind. But she couldn't explain that to him; she didn't know how. "You're so impossible! How can you expect anyone to... to..." She stopped short of what she was going to say next, and backed away, eyes clouding over in thought. No, no, she liked Dread of Night. What was she doing?

Rahu right then after her words turned and faced her in full rage. "what to like or love me. i never cared about that in the first place. never until our last meeting!!!!" his eyes glowing red in rage, he wanted to stop saying what he was thinking but could not. " i would have sooner forgotten you after our last meeting. but no, i now have my emotions and feelings all mixed up because of you!!!!!!!" snorting he pined his ears back and kept glaring.

Aruna flushed with rage and embarrassment, astonishment, too, as she gaped at Rahu. "What... What... I never mentioned lo... LOVE!" She managed to stammer out. She had a hard time saying that particular word. "I said like! And even then, I just said like, or... or... considered! I didn't mean to confuse you or get your emotions mixed up--that's not my fault!" She fumed slightly as her flush faded, and she returned his glare. "I have no fault in this any more than you do! Do you see me blaming you!?"

Rahu continued to glare. " you never finished your sentance so i finshed it for you. its not like you of all would actualy like me, or do you?" he thought she hated him, but then surprised him with her concedering him a friend. shaking his head to rid of the though... no she never would.. he thought to himself. "nevermind forget my question."

Aruna softened her glare. "Rahu... I really think of you as a friend." She then whispered, more to herself than to him, "Possibly more than a friend..." She blushed slightly, then calmed down. "I do like you, heavens know why I do, but I do." What could she say? There really wasn't any explanation for her feelings and emotions. They were just... there.

Rahu calmed down a little and a sigh. " you know i would have rather heared you hated me. i would then beable to rid myself of these feelings i have. " shaking his head, he would keep dening these feelings. "i was never ment to haves these feelings i have for a mare. never would i have thought i would devolpe them." looking up at the night sky he gave another sigh. he was now more confused than before about his own feelings.

Rahu only shook his head and once again became his cold hearted self. " No dont be. atlest you admit your feelings. i only denie them and will continue too. i weill never admit them and Aruna.... after this meeting you most likey will not see me again. then perhaps you can get over your feelings and same for me." not even looking at her, he awaited what she would say though he wanted to just leave.

Aruna's heart seemed to skyrocket into her throat. She turned to face him, although he was faced away from her. "Then do me one favor, Rahu..." She knew this was probably the only time to ask this. She really only wanted one thing from him. She could tell he wanted to leave... leave to a place where they wouldn't see each other for... well, for a long time. She didn't think 'forever' was the proper word, becaues she was sure they'd see each other again. She'd probably be mated by then, as well. "Just one favor."

Rahu turned and stared her right in the eyes. " What is it." he wondered what this favor was. surely she would just let him leave with out anything else to make his emotions worse. so he waited there for what she want. " but depending on what its is i cant promise this fover of yours you want."

Aruna took a deep breath. "To get rid of your feelings, and mine, Rahu... I'd like you to admit them. It will be difficult, because then I must return such a favor. Then... you can leave." She had a hard time saying those words. "Afterwards, we can hate each other. I beleive it will be easier." She looked away, feeling ashamed. I'm sorry, Rahu, but it's the only way...

Rahu only shook his head. " No.... that is something i can not do." turning away from her once more, he should have known that was what she was going to ask. but he will not admit his feelings at all, since he did not even understand them. " once i leave just forget about me, your feelings then should be gone."

"..." Aruna turned away from him. "Fine, then, Rahu. I... will admit to coming close to truly loving you... but..." She took a shuddering breath as she stepped, hoof by hoof by hoof by hoof, away from the dark colored stallion. "...I think it's time we both moved on, eh?" She turned to look at him one last time, and then, her expression melted into a very cold expression indeed. "So... I'll see you... in the future, at some point..." She turned, took a breath that she hadn't realized she'd been holding, and slowly walked out of the area. She was never coming back to this place again. The mood was too awkward. She needed to forget this night. "I think it's best we forgot each other, Rahu," She whispered in finality. "Truly forget."

Rahu only shook his head and watched her leave with a sigh. " i highly doubt we will see each other again." he wispered and stayed only tell she was out of sight. after that he went on his own way to never come back.
