Fflewddur_Fflam NewGenious Fflewddur_Fflam "Reality is for people who lack imagination." i don't remember who this is by, but i think that there is something to be said of idealism and blissfulness for some reason I thought of spongebob when I read this. i love spongebob! I thought of the episode with the box they played in IMA GINATION

"Man is not free unless government is limited. There's a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts." - Ronald Reagan
yeah, i like my personal freedom and this patriot act stuff is getting on my nerves.

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." -Martin Luther King
this was written when king was jailed in birmingham. i think that when there is something wrong you must act to correct it. otherwise you are really supporting its continued existance by passive consent.

"Many that live deserve death. And some die that deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then be not too eager to deal out death in the name of justice, fearing for your own safety. Even the wise cannot see all ends." - John R. R. Tolkien
this is from lord of the rings. return of the king i think. i think that many people judge people who aren't in a position to. especially when it involves life. i am against the death penalty btw.

There are some people that while it's possuble for them to be rehabilitated...to turn, there are some who simpley will not. And there are some things that should not be tolerated. Like rape. I can honestly say, if I was on jury for a man who had raped someone, I would push for him to die, painfully and slowly.

I can honestly say, if I was on jury for a man who had raped someone, I would push for him to die, painfully and slowly. its from teh fellowship guys! *sigh* I honestly haven't trained you well enough. Gandalf says it to Frodo in the mines of Moria about Gollum. (then agian thats the movie....after seeing the movies, i can't remember the difference in the book. The only thing I can rememebr really is Tom...I wish they had Tom in the movies!! ) ok death penalty- i have VERY mixed feelings bout this.. and its LONG so sit bac. I am really really really against the death penalty for the reason that I think it is the easiest way out. its TOO easy. and its not enough punishment for the convicted. I think having to rot in a jail cell, tormented with your own evil and driven mad is teh best punishment. (i sooo would've loved medieval times with dungeons) BUT the problem is..not everyonme thinks that what they did was bad. they rationalize it, or they ACTUALLY think it was teh RIGHT thing to do. these people are just sick and demented and need help, but they wouldn't suffer if they were kept alive...so I almsot think that those should jsut die. but im too aginst that, becasue Istill think death is too good for them. but I don't approve of torture or anything like taht either. so im jsut realyl torn. and then, htere is also teh way that is they live they can do work and pay a debt back to the community.. i eman people on death row would NEVER pay back for what they diod,.,.btu they could work theuir whole lives, and we could get some use out of them. they alread ydid enough damage, so they should put us through the least trouble possible, so they shouldn't get put to death, casue thats MORE expensive than keeping them locked up under high security, adn they can even help us out by doing some dirty work. (literally, like cleannig stuff) for free! but then there's also the "the world is getting overpopulated the more people we don't have to worry aobut the better" and yes most of this is coldhearted..btu i really have no tolerance for evil.

Geba_00 I have a lot of trouble saying it...it was the motto of my former mentor, someone who has betrayed me so badly it makes me sick to think of it. But even if it was a lie from his lips, I think I'm going to keep it as my own... "Slay evil imediatly." In a world where everything is tolerance, and evil is too strong of a word, I will recognize evil for what it is, and call it to it's face. 3nodding That's not a quote from him...it's not even original. It's a quote from Rurouni Kenshin. Booyah.
