[I am teh Haruka] muslim_khadijah salaamu alykum every one...hi again.... another question...im am planing to become and High school art teacher...is that haram to be art teacher? or either that or psychology? are either of those haram in any way? please like a reply soon....thank every one bye bye I don't see how it could be haraam. Unless you draw humans or animals, then it's haraam because it's like you're making these creatures but only Allah can put life into them, not you or any other human. Otherwise, I'm sure it's okay. And psychology should be fine.

Drawing anything relating to Human figure or Animal figure, such as an eye from a Human or a tail from an Animal, is Haram. Because only Allah can put these things into shape. Now when it comes to hanging up or displaying these things on a table or a wall, it is Haram because it's kinda like worshipping it. Only Allah can put these things to life, and the reason why it is forbidden leads to why we made Geometric and Floral art as well as Calligraphy. We Muslims made our own Art to suit Islam without breaking a rule.

Hadith explains it best: prohpet SAW said:all artist will go to hell, and while there allah will tell them to bring they're art to life but they will be unable too:another version surprised n the day of judgement all artists will be gathered and allah will tell them to bring to life they're figures but will be unable to (agreed upon). smile

Well, what are you arguing with them about? (That is if you are comfortable saying why) I argue with my parents all the time xD. They don't listen to my view, my feelings or anything. Hell, I have a v****a so I might as well not know anything! xDDD.

People fight with their parents all the time, but i fyou really want to stop, just try to understand the situation from their point of view, or try to sit down and talk to them about not wanting to fight so much.

Yeah but when I fighgt I'm screaming delirious mad. >_> >_> Well then try to find an out let for your anger. I usually go in my room and sing. I know, weird, right? sweatdrop But that's just what works for me. I turn up the music really loud and kinda pour all my anger out while singing. If I'm really mad, though, I write down my feelings in a journal. That way you can say whatever you want to whoever made you mad. it works for me, but maybe not for you. You coud try running, or going to your room and screaming until your voice gets hoarse. Just try to think of something else.

Why would it be? I'd like to know, kinda confusing.. sweatdrop I love learning about Psychology, because it interests me and shows me how people behave and how things make them this way or that way in situations or in their own behavior.

I think if you want to judge if something is haram or not, you should ask an imam.

x.X.Innocent Passion.X.x I think if you want to judge if something is haram or not, you should ask an imam. I totally agree.. My father always says never trust someone saying this is harram without asking the immam.. But I have a question, I don't wear hijjab but I really want to... my mom says next year but I'm not sure to live until next year.. the reason why mom is delaying is because she is afraid that I'm not serious.... I don't even know but I'm really afraid that if I do wear hijjab I will take it off sooner or later, what do you think should I wear it, or follow my mother's oppenion? emo

I, personally, find your fear to be silly. xD I mean like, from the viewpoint of someone who's worn it. Like.. basically, you shouldn't fear something like that. Shouldn't worry.. it's an incredible thing to take on, and I will tell you, the only reasons to regret the decision are definitely outweighed by the blessings and awesomeness of taking it. Yeah, your mom's right in some ways, that you have to be serious about it. Wearing hijab makes you different.. I mean, it estranges you. I'm not just talking about "stares" and racism and stuff... I mean, in every day life, with your friends and everything. And I don't just mean like, they get weird around you or anything like that. I mean, the feeling inside. It gives you separation from others, gives you something so strange. But, if you take it right, it's also something very incredible. ... xD I don't know what I'm trying to say lawl. Haha me trying to describe abstract ideas = instant failure. Oh well.. I will tell you that, even at times when I've been lagging in my prayers or have sinned, the one thing I have never wanted to do is take off my hijab. It becomes a part of you, one that you value, and it'll grow on you and take you over.. like a fungus.. =D! I first wore hijab like, before 8th grade.. in the summer... out of nowhere I go "I'm going to wear hijab" to my mom, and I wore it.. and I remember that day, we went to the park and it was windy and cool and I remember going on the swing and kind of swinging up and looking at the sky.. Some things are too beautiful to explain. That's how hijab is for me.
