Rain Goddess Cutie  Yep. LOL. Only a little though, like, not as much as Inu and Kagome or Inu and Kikyou, but they get pretty close. I even think Kouga joins the group. I can't be sure but I think he does. Pretty cool huh? Sorry but do you even know what that says?

Kouga may love Kagome, but Kagome sure as hell doesn't love him. She just sees him as a friend. She loves Inuyasha and I know deep down, all though he doesn't show it, Inuyasha loves her too.

*Takes a deep breath* Ok, here goes. No, Kagome doesn't and won't any time soon, fall in love with Kouga. In truth, though Kouga is convinced he is in love with Kagome, it's obvious even he knows how pointless it is. As stubborn as he is, and gotta love him for it, but he knows that Kagome loves Inuyasha. There is an episode where Kagome is with Kouga, waiting on Inuyasha to come back from one battle or another, and she's holding onto his haori top. She ends up thinking he's dead, and course Kouga doesn't help the situation.
But when Inuyasha shows up, and Kagome, in tears rushes to hug him, the stunned look on Kouga's face is pretty much evidence enough. Even more, he actually does the mature thing, and doesn't let it get to him. In that one moment, I give him a lot of credit for being the bigger man.
It's not just personal preference that I'm a Kouga/Ayame fan. It just makes more sense. Inuyasha has enough on his plate trying to choose between Kikyou and Kagome, but it's a double ended sword. He cares for Kikyou and feels responsible for her death. Naturally he wants to make it up to her. Unfortunately, he didn't expect to fall in love with Kagome. And Kagome is so head over heels for Inuyasha, she doesn't see Kouga as anything more than a good friend and a trusted ally in the fight against Naraku.
All the more reason they decided to add in Ayame's character. Yes.. she's clingy in the beginning when you first meet her, but anyone who's watched all three episodes can see the difference in her by the end of 84 and all through 102. After Ayame realizes that Kagome doesn't return Kouga's feelings, her spirits are lifted, and she vows to try harder to win Kouga over.
In 102, she is more concerned about the safety of her pack than prying at Kouga to remember the promise. It leaves the series open for her to show up later, if they continue to do more since the manga has come so much further than when they first "ended" the anime. There's plenty of talk about the writers picking up and continuing... and a hell of a load of fans that are praying for that to be true.
It's just nice to think that when everything is all said and done, and Kikyou is laid to rest, and Kagome ends up with Inuyasha, that Kouga won't be completely jilted. Even if it takes a while, and even if he is heart broken over the eventual loss of his "love" he still has a very patient, very strong, and very pretty female wolf demon waiting for him to come around.

Kagome sees Koga as a friend so cares about him but nothing more than that I believe. She is all for InuYasha.
