Is it owned by the Suicidal Fairy person? surprised EDIT: Never mind.. I checked the first post heh.. But I did find yet ANOTHER GSA. 3nodding EDIT # 2 sad this will be the part where I put down what I find) ninja Well for one.. they have a publicity thread for their guild. It's bascially a give away though, they just put the link to their guild in the first post. http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7495430&highlight=I think that maybe they have alot more affilates than we do too. sweatdrop It we could get out there and maybe announce ourselves and the original Gay Straight alliance or something. Make friends. 3nodding We also need banners. Many many banners. Or if we can start making those identification cards again and turn them in to banners, that would be great. Also.. they keep talking about 'safe zones'. I remember hearing about those once before but Im not exactly sure what they are. But they seem to be helping. Maybe we could get affilated with some of those 'safe zones' too. I dunno.

Censored The Safe Zone Project: Mission Statement: The aim of the Safe Zone project is to help maintain and promote safe environments for people of all sexualities to enjoy themselves within the Gaian terms of service without fear of harassment, exclusion, or alienation. The participating threads are asked to denote their status as a Safe Zone by placing one of the official stickers given in post four of this thread on their first page as indicated. You are also asked to do whatever you deem necessary to maintain a safe haven for people to be themselves whether straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, trangender, or questioning without fear of being ostracized. Further details will be posted as this project develops. Censored I haven't seen anything like this implemented on the forums, and it may add to the "roleplaying experience" so it may be worth a try. At my school, we have what are called "SafeZones", which are businesses and/or organizations who wish to maintain a tolerant and safe atmosphere where people can be themselves, regardless of their sexuality or gender identity, without fear of discrimination. Essentially, an establishment that maintains itself as a "SafeZone" places a special sticker on their front door or window saying so. Since there seem to be so many minishops as well as role-playing bars/pubs/businesses within the Gaia Commerce forum, I figured we could make a SafeZone sticker of our own. The business would undergo a short application process, then attach the SafeZone banner (which also happens to link to our guild) to their first page, and in return we post their business within a list of SafeZone sponsors for their advertisement purposes. This way, we get our name out there while advertising their businesses and promoting an aware and respectful environment all at the same time. The above quote, I believe, completely describes Kaldorei's intentions. I'm glad to say that we have finally decided to act upon his idea, having created a sticker for the minishops and businesses to post in their thread. We hope to get many new members as well as create many healthy environments in Gaia where people don't have to be afraid to freely talk about their sexuality/gender identity. Kaldorei will be editing my posts if he has anything to add or change, since this was his idea. Oh I found this. sweatdrop

BakaTulip As far as I'm concerned that other guild is a copycat which didn't look to see if we had a GSA on Gaia already. As you can see they came substantially after we did. That's like saying there can only be one GSA group on Earth. It's stupid.

I mean, All that does is 'cause a competition. Which isn't what we're all about, is it? -shrugs- I don't know, That's just how I see it.
