"What power out?" She asked. Everyone kept mentioning this, but she didn't remember any power out of sorts. All that had happened was her going to sleep and then waking up soaked in the god damn tree. "And why would that be strange? The power went out before that whole lockout thing..."
There was something wrong with all of this. "What the ******** is going on?" Antony growled in frustration, stabbing another pineapple chunk with extra vigor, tails lashing behind her.

"Last night... the power was on backup for several hours... then went out altogether late last night." He eyed her as he said it. "You don't rememebr?"
He shook his head. "I've never seen the power actually go out on the Island. We've had storms before. Then again, we are in the middle of the Traingle." He smirked to himself, eating more.

"I don't," she replied, frowning deeply, "And I don't remember a storm either..." Maybe more time had passed by then she had previously thought.
The mention of the triangle caused her to c**k an eyebrow, but Antony didn't say anything about it. "Could a power outage affect our... Whatever the hell zaps us unconscious?" She looked confused, food forgotten for the moment.

"The storm rolled in early Saturday." Sabin responded. "You don't... remember even that?"
He chewed on the steak thoughtfully before responding. "I read... yes... actually. If the power goes out for more than an hour than all the islanders are automatically rendered unconscious when it comes back on. A failsafe. But like I said, it's never had to be put to the test before."

"Nope, not at all..." Part of her looked pained, or scared even that she couldn't remember all this, hand rubbing the back of her neck absently. She sighed deeply, munching on a handfull of nuts as she tried to think. "Why wouldn't I remember? I woke up soaked to the bone..."

He shook his head. "You got me there. Unless the shock was a LOT stronger than normal." He seemed to consider that himself for a while before shrugging.
"I don't know what happened to the systems to have that grandoise of a powerout."

It wasn't long before Antony had pulled out a cigarette and lit it, taking a long drag to try and calm her nerves a bit. As an after thought, she attempted to blow the smoke away from the white haired man. "Possibly..." She trailed off, scratching at the back of her neck where she thought the chip to be residing. "Maybe someone tinkered with it so they could go after Aubrey?"

"It's possible." Sabin admitted. "But... they'd likely have to have lab access to do so. The generators are pretty well shielded." He didn't say anything to the lit cigarette, but nodded when the smoke was blown away from him.
He slid his empty plate away from him, finished with his meal and propped his chin up on his hand, heaving a sigh.

Antony ran her hand through her hair to tussle it a bit more before breathing in another pull from her smoke. "To prevent against general islander revolt and blah blah blah I expect?" She took another handful of seeds before cocking her head to the side, "So what are you going to do when darkness falls? I'm sure the jungle won't be safe for a staff member."

"Something of the like." He confirmed. "I'm not security, but I can imagine that it would be in place for a reason like that. Stop anyone if they're trying to escape or... well... hurt someone."
He scratched his chin with a frown at the followup question. "I'll figure something out. There are a few things I'd like to see to as long as I'm here. Maybe see if I can convince those damn guards to let me back in. I shouldn't be out here."

"Like," Antony asked, letting the cig burn betwen her fingers as she kept her attention on Sabin. He now had her full interest. Was he the only staff outside aside from Aubrey during this supposed storm? "If you do get in, I need to see someone about my cast... It got rather wet during the... storm I guess? Needs something."

He nodded. "I'll be sure to mention it. Hell, they might be able to do something about it here. I don't know how much 'first aide' it would take to change a cast. At least they won't have to set anything as that's already done." He shrugged. "But not my department. I'll be sure to ask if I get back in." That was not his first order of business, however. GETTING back into the labs. THAT was more important. Moreau certainly seemed eager to be given a scapegoat, given that announcement everyone on the island was goign to be out for blood to find one so as to not get punished themselves. Being caught out like he was - Sabin was under the same pressure. What would Moreau do if no one was found? Would he wind up a subject even if they had no evidence of any wrongdoing?

Antony was surprisingly not worried that she was going to be nailed as a scapegoat, given that she, being entirely white almost, would have been stained red with blood had she anything to do with Aubrey's attack. Nevermind the fact that she had the woman's shirt laying on top of her shoulder bag. With what she had seen this morning, something else had been out in the storm as well. "I'll check out first aid then, thanks," she nodded, offering a slight appreciative smile before moving to shove said shirt into her bag now that she had the hands to do it easily.

He nodded, watching as she shoved the shirt away. "No problem. I don't think that Moreau thought this through very far if no one is going to be let back in the labs, even WITH medical issues." He snorted and rose to his feet.
"Well. I have things to do." He said bitterly.

Watching him raise, she frowned somewhat. He had dodged a lot of her questions, and she was still curious as to where he was going. Not that she could follow if she wanted to, with her crutches and all. Nevermind that he probably could zap her unconscious now that the power was back.
"Be wary of the torches and pitchforks," Antony smirked, her voice not as kind as before. It was hard to tell if she was joking or not.
