(Hehe, sorry about my absence. Had to go on a short, unexpected vacation, got back Saturday and was pulled here and there over the weekend. Sorry for not warning you guys or something.. sweatdrop )

Karen had indeed followed the two, apparently the man was named Hubbard. She had stayed quiet for most of the talking that had been going on, preferring to just watch and shifting her weight from foot to foot occasionally. She watched with a slightly amused smile. She couldn't help it, it was just funny how the girl did it. Her attention immediately shifted as she noticed Hubbard shift his foot forward and the boulder rolling over like an eager puppy. Her expression was wiped clear off her face as her jaw dropped in absolute amazement. How good was this guy? Well, very good to be able to move a boulder just from a shift from his foot. She quickly realized her mouth had been hanging open in shock and just as speedily closed it.

Gauw carried the sack on his back, full of clothes and rations. It was the second day now that he had run away from his uncles farm. He had hated that place from the very beginning. Good thing he had did alittle earthbending before he had left and left a surprise for his oh so "kind" uncle. He walked down, the hill he was on, sliding his feet behind him and moving the earth under him so that it was softer to his elfish shoes.

((@Dragon_daughter : NEVER! Now we shall flog you! XD Just kidding, i don't mind in the least. As long as you come back eventually, right? xD))

Milo shook her head and brushed her hair with her hands wildley to rid it of all the dirt and rubble. She stood up tall and put her hands on her hips, she was obviously still determind to move that nasty rock. She turned back to the man, "HOW'D YOU DO THAT!?" She shouted.

Gauw moved along the grass. Each step the grass turned to dirt, that had risen around his feet. He was getting the hand of doing this little each bending trick. Soon enought he would figure out how to go down into the earth and bring himself back up at a different place.

He walked for along timed down the side of the river in the forest at its side. He was getting bored because all of his actions seemed to be fruitless. With a sigh and a huff he moved along.

Hubbard's eyebrows rose. The fuzzy brows of his face shone against his skin, and made him look increasingly innocent. "Hmm? I didn't do anything, though." He chuckled. "It was your earthbending that moved the stone.. It was just delayed, miss." His eyes connected with her two mis-coloured orbs.

"When you're pushing out toward the boulder you have to thrust with your arms. A loosey goosey punch isn't going to move a boulder that size. More 'umph', nameless kidddo." The man continued to chuckle at the small girl.

Milo just stared, her face turned bright red from embarassment. He was obviously laughing at her, and how she did it miserably wrong. Before she was about to reply something about that, she remembered "Oh, i forgot to introduce myself," She replied quietly "I'm Milo, Milo Cross". She remembered the boulder and turned on her heel and faced the boulder. "Right... Thrust, uumpf... loosey goosey punches bad" She kept telling herself.

Milo's face straightened and she readied herself. She took a side step forward and thrusted both her arms forward fairly hard, the boulder reacted by sliding down a few meters. She stood, gawking at the boulder. It might have not been all that far, but it was a huge achievement for her. She yelled and jumped up and down victoriously.

A small envelope zoomed past Hubbard's right ear. It cut itself deep into the wood doorway behind him, making the hinges shiver with unknown agnostic vibrance. His eyes, however, remained in from of him while a small droplit of blood went off his earlobe. "Air benders... Gotta love em'.."

He turned around and plucked the envelope from its several centimeter long gash. The man opened up the envelope- to only turn slightly red by the writing. A smile appeared on his weary face, signaling something in the letter had made him happy.

In the middle of Milo's celebrating, she couldn't help but notice the evelope fly by and rattle the door. She ran over to the door and examined the gash in it. "WOW! Paper can do that!?" She thought.

She noticed the letter and tried to look around Hubbard to see it, but she couldn't quite make it out.

Gauw kept walking. His little attitude and temper constrant. He could seem to find anything or anyone to pick on or terrorize or rub his skill in their face so he kept walking.

Untill he come to a cottage, or a small house. Whe he seen this he brushed his head to the side behind his ears and brushed himself off to look presentable, and started to walk in a smug like strut. His nose looking forward and his chin slightly pointing up.

He quickly tucked the note beneath his robe, hiding it from the noisy teenager. "It's rude to look at other people's mail, Milo." The man stood there looking at the girl who seemed to have ten tonnes of energy.

Hubbard sat down on the steps of his home, looking out at the yard filled with a hundred human sized boulders.

Milo's face slipped into a bit of a pout "You're no fun, otchan" she replied. She jumped off the stairs from the dojo, "Right. Rest of them" she muttered to herself. Milo pulled back a bit and was about to repeat the process until she noticed someone a little far away. Well, she wasen't sure it was a person from the funny way it was moving, but it was alive.

Gauw kepts walking toward the cabin. He still was somewhat far away. As he got closer it seemed that it was larger than he had seem it from, and what he had thought to be medium sized rocks where actuall boulders larger than him. Since they scattered the yard he had a hard time noticing the two people that were there.

Gauw kept on moving in his cocky strut, although as he did this is seemed like his achilles heel was being stretched to much. So he stop the strut and started to walk normal again, his hair coming loose from behind his ears.

Milo cocked an eyebrow, she noticed the weird way he was walking seised. "Oh, just a person" she muttered then turned her heel and looked back at Hubbard. "A student of yours, or something?" She asked him. Milo then reflected on how she thought everyone she saw was a student or something, "I need to get more sleep" she thought.

Gauw kept walking, when he got to what seemed like the stone gardens very outside he touched a rock. It was a rock, and if it was a rock that meant he could move it. He stepped back and grinned. Gauw stiffened his feet on the ground, then spread them apart in one quick motion. Put like right arm up and in an L position, then his left arm in an upside down L Position, he was ready.

"Oh?" Hubbard looked out to see a small boy moving a rock twice his height. Also, the man also noted how the lil' tyke's technique was all strength based and how the small kid didn't have any strength to warrant his technique. It looked like he had learned his jitsu from an alley-side school.

He was better than Milo, though. For now, at least, it seemed. Milo, the girl that seemed to have twenty tonnes of spare energy, had a better rhythm to her pushes and pulls. The two were nigh foil characters in the way they held themselves, the way they earth bend.. It was rather humorous.
