When it comes to Fly representing what Blind Guardian is really about... I'm not so sure about that. I mean, it definitely has that Blind Guardian feel to it, but it's a little different than their old stuff.

I have 7 of their full length CDs and missing Somewhere Far Beyond and the 2003 live CD.

yes, but remember that a band taking a different approach to their music is not necessarily a bad thing. However, as far as the new one changing what my current favorite Blind Guardian album is, which is A Night at the Opera, that's highly unlikely.

I didn't say it was a bad thing, I was surprised of how good Fly turned out and am looking forward to hearing A Twist In The Myth. smile I was just saying that when it comes to that sound being Blind Guardian for the past 15 years it isn't completely true.

Nightfall in ME is my favourite and that one is also unlikely to change. Too many great memories are tied to it. smile

Yea, I know what you mean about it not fully representing them. I was talking on a more general scale. sweatdrop

I booked my ticket for the London show last night. They also just confirmed a North Ameican tour. You could probably go if you wanted DethFan, or anyone else who's near.

I LOVE Blind Guardian! The first songs I heard by them were Mirror Mirror and Bright Eyes. I believe I call Mirror Mirror the pirate song. My band's going to attempt playing Another Holy War by them (such an awesome song, I love the solo!). WOO for Blind Guardian!

If you can, send me an MP3 after you guys record it. I'd love to hear it.
I would too.

I really enjoyed the Fly single by the way, I thought it was a three-track showcase of what they're all about, a fast song, a ballad, and a crazy cover.

I'm definitely going to have to obtain that single somehow...

Dammit, I SHOULDA GOTTEN IT WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE!!! crying

Oh well, i'll get it eventually.

Go to my homepage. The link is on this page somewhere.

The one in Massachusetts isn't until December first. I don't know how big the Palladium is, though. I don't think tickets will be available until the summer. I checked ticketmaster.com and it says nothing about Blind Guardian concerts.

Palladium is a name for a big place. It has the capacity to fit 20.000 people with deserts and ballgowns and stuff. (No clue how big it is either, but it sounds big razz )

The venue they're at here is called VPK/Media-park/Cvetličarna. Any of the three will apply. And Cvetličarna means a Flower Shop so. There's a venue in another city (Also a tiny one) that's called MC Pekarna (MC Bakery)... Weird stuff.
