Here's Bloody's reply.
I don't really mind, just don't ban me. My life is all weird and blah, I have hardly any time for T.V., I may wind up permantetly turning the guild over, but I haven't decided yet, it's your call, just don't ban me yet.
So whatever you want to do Chibi Chan.

Yeah, I think it's a good idea. So why won't you make the topic. You have around one month to post to not be banned. An of course we won't ban Bloody. 3nodding

I'm not quite sure how banning people would do anything about the guild being dead, though I guess it couldn't hurt anything. Maybe it would be better to pm everyone first, reminding people about the guild, and letting them know that they'll be banned if they remain inactive. The reminder in itself might produce some activity.

Pm'ing everyone would take WAY to long, I could pm all the Slytherin members to remind them, and your welcome to pm members to remind them to post if they wish to stay. I believe it will help banning the inactive members. Usually when a guild gets to big and cluttered, it dies. So slimming it down and removing old forums might help it get more active, like it used to be.

So slimming it down and removing old forums might help it get more active, like it used to be. I was afraid that might be a problem. So Gaia doesn't have a mass-PM option for guilds? You'd think guild mods would have an option to contact every member of their guild at once.

Yeah it would be extremely helpfull in this situation. If all of the crew members were active, it would be easier to contact everyone.

Well, if you ban all inactive memebers than you're popularity will go down. I don't consider this guild dead, I just think that people have more to their life than just mindless chit-chat relating to Harry Potter. Give the inactive members a break, they could just be busy or waiting for and interesting topic to come up.

I want to say yes...
Yet I haven't posted in this guild for about two months before now. Just a tad hypocritical?
Well, it was partially because I took a month and a half long break from gaia, and partially because I'm in a lot of Harry Potter guilds and forget which ones I've already visited that day/month/year.
I think that the Harry Potter guilds all fire up when a book/movie comes out, but then they kind of fade again becuase there's nothing new to talk about. This is one of those times when there is nothing new to talk about.

Along with my other post i think that it'd be a little hipocritical to start banning considering the fact that i've been in this guild for a week and have yet to be sorted. This shows a lack of ability to keep the site updated.

The only thing is... if someone is really really active in the guild, but then they have to leave... like if they go somewhere where they don't have internet access.. woudl they be banned? Because I have to go to my dads for christmas break and I think Spring break as well (this year anyway), but I post all the time. So if i vanish for a month, it's not because I have a choice....

So are y'all still doing this? Because if so I'm going to start a thread for people to post that they're going to be gone for however long so they don't get banned for not being active when they don't have a choice in the matter.
