My friends were kind of disturbed by my hide-ness today. hide patch, 3 hide pins, hide t-shirt, necromance necklace, etc xD. Right now I'm just play guitar next to my lighted candle with his picture underneath. I might play goodbye on my guitar for him tonight, too ^_^.

I wore my "Fuc't" shirt today along w/ my hide goggles and everyone looked at me like I was crazy at school.
I plan on watching some hide clips later, but I've mainly been listening to his 321 album all day.
I'm not ready to listen to Goodbye just yet. crying

I watched a vid on youtube that has the song "Goodbye". It's sad. at the end is him opening a door, walking through it, then closing it. (or it just closes, I can't recall which)

I can't believe it's been 9 years already...It seems like I started to listen to him so long ago...I can't even describe how much hide has changed my life...It's weird to say that someone can change your life that you've never met but...Man...

I can't either, but for me, it's like it just happened. I only found out who he was(is)late Monday night, and at the same time found out he's no longer here.

I didn't even know about jrock til Feb. of this year.... I have alot of catching up to do, you might say. Thing is.... learning about someone in general, and that they're not here. It's very difficult. Cause you know you'll never have the chance to see them, in any way, with them still being alive, cause they're not.

(Dir en grey was my first band...Oh, how I miss old Dir en grey....) and hide was my second, I started with the song "dice" xD. I got into more of his music and then started looking for more about him...And then I found the first tribute page. After coming to love a musician soley for his music, and in such a few days, and watching video's about what he did for people...And then finding out he was dead..It was such a harsh blow because in those few days I had dreamed about meeting him, someone who had become almost an instant idol to me (Who still is to this day, mind you.) I hope I can be good enough for long enough to make it to wherever hide is at now...I must say I'll be horribly dissapointed if I NEVER get to meet him. (Whether if it's in this life, or the next one, or the next one...Or the next one. Who knows? xD)

Do you mean you had only known about hide for a few days, recently, before finding out he died? I got into Dir en grey first, also. How I got into hide was cause of seeing a banner in someone's sig.

Nah, I've been a hide fan for like...maybe 4 years? 4 years ago I found out about him, and then a few days after I found out about him is when I found out he was dead. I've known about Jrock in general for about...5 years maybe?? I got into Dir en grey first, and they were my favorite band for a long time...Until they started sucking. Mucc (eroguro) has been my favorite (except hide) for awhile now.

Kyo_fan_for_life Ah, ok. I too got into Diru first. I don't think they suck, but to each his own. I haven't heard of that other group. Well, listen to their older stuff, and then listen to their new single and then you'll see what I'm talking about. Macabre and Gauze were excellent, and Kyo HAS matured his voice (Take his solo act's song "Mama" for example...So good), but this new single? It took me a minute to realize one song actually had words and it wasn't just screaming. Point? Old Diru rocked. New Diru sucks.

I just disagree, and that's it.

XD I swear I think I have my "New Diru vs. Old Diru" rant memorized, I've been over it so many times! Lol. Old Diru was excellent. I loved their style, which was slightly different from other VK bands, and their music. The music actually had just that, music to it, instead of 3-4 minutes of Kyo screaming random english into the microphone. <__< I've always loved Kyo's lyrics too. But I don't really know now. Lately they've been... Eh. I haven't read any from their new Album, so I'm not sure how they are. But first, in Cleaver Sleazoid, which was an okay song, it was "One day I will ******** your parents." And now in "Aggitated Screams of Maggits (which, in my opinion, was crap), "I'll rape your daughter on your grave" <__< Is he going down the family tree or something? XP They say that they've dropped their "Visual Image" to focus more on their actual music, but why is it that with the dissapearence of their VK image, the quality of their music seemed to dissapear as well. AND their live preformances. I used to, and still love their lives from their VK days, and even in the begging when they dropped VK. But lately, I don't know, maybe it's America that's completly ******** them up, but when I watched their new DVD, I was about ready to fall asleep. <__< They just sort of... stood in the same place the whole time, whereas they used to run around and make it fun! I was, though, surprised by a few songs on "The Marrow of a Bone." I love the song "Namamekashiki Ansoku, Tomadoi Ni Hohoem"... It was almost like a glimpse of what they used to be. <__< There were a few other okay songs, but when I heard Kyo's new (and over-used) Freaky girly-screech, I was like, "WTF?" XD I thought my computer speakers were screwed up for a split second. Ah, but yeah... <__< Wow... I ranted again. o.o I've gotta stop doing that. XD
