TheOneAndOnlyGaz Yunalesca_Chi Yay! It was awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I just got back a little while ago. The opening acts: Nightmare of you and Dillenger Escape Plan weren't that good, but AFI definitly made up for it! Everyone was sweating to death and pushing and shoving and jumping the whole time. I saw Davey, Jade and Hunter but not Adam! It was awesome, they sounded amazing and the crowd sang with them the whole time. I loved it. Even though I was pushed a lot because I'm small lol. I bought lots of good merchandise too! Did you take pictures? Well there was a sign that said absolutly no photography of any kind and they searched you on the way in.., and I didn't bring anything with me because chances are I would have lost it. And there was so much sweat and moisture I would have killed my camera. And I'm short yet again and constantly was being pushed so pictures would have been out of the question, and I was there to see AFI, not AFI through a camera. No I didn't take any pictures blaugh

Yeah it was awesome!! At one point Yunalesca almost got taken away by the moshers, that was the only scary part. Me and Yunalesca were at the left side of the stage near the speakers. We began moving rightwards because of the moshers which actually gave us a better view.

Where hunter was right next to the speakers 2 people from the very front. But I slowly got pushed back further and shoved etc.

It's funny because they all looked just how they do in the videos and interviews.
Yeah it was awesome when Davey walked out into the crowd, he was like Jesus walking on water! but on people! Haha.
Yeah they did not dissapoint at all!
But I really wish they had different opening bands..

I'm actually seeing them twice this summer, on August 6 and 7! Two nights of AFI goodness in a row. Yay! I wish the Dillinger Escape Plan was opening for our show though. Instead, we get Saosin. sad

OMG. I finally saw them live Sunday and last night. It was so awesome. Probably the best shows I've been to.
The opening bands, Darker My Love and Saosin were not good. I still would have prefered to see the Dillinger Escape Plan.
Of course, everybody were sweating their a** off and pushing around. My shirt on last night's show was literally drenched in mine and other people's sweat, which was really gross. And the whole time I was just trying not to fall down and trying to protect my boobs. I got squished last night. Very painful.
But with everything said, they sounded so awesome. Everyone was just singing along to them. I almost lost my voice from shouting the songs. I wish they would come back here soon because they are awesome.
And I got lots of merch too. Being in the DF is awesome when it comes to discounts.
