i like FF's 2,3,5. the newer ones are still good it just something about the 2d ones that interests me more then the 3d ones. wierd? probably

Personally the final fantasy production teams are reaching new lows. The storylines have never failed to impress me, especially seven and eight, but their imagination is now beginning to run thin. The straw that broke the camels back was FF 10-2. This pathetic excuse for T&A and constant erotic references has now mad me worry for the series. I was hoping good things for 12 but now i feel its just going to be the abandoned child of nine, eleven and tactics advanced. How dare they soil the name of final fantasy tactics i say with tactics advanced; FF tactics is one of my favorite games of all times almost close to Chrono Trigger. They could have used a brilliant storyline from FF tactics but now they threw it away and started fresh. It breaks my heart to see the series suffering like this and i hope for the best. By the by i know it was extremely random of me to interupt the current talks but i just had to get that off my chest. Thank you and good night.

Personally I agree with many of the things Vero just said, however I enjoyed FF9 very much as well, it ammused me for the most part however the ending sucked and Kuja never should have lived. Number 10 was good for the most part and yes X-2 was deplorable. I do have some worries about number 12 however I do enjoy the new battle system. Number 7 is and always will be my favorite, its a beautiful game with a deep involving plotline and memorable characters.

I like ffVII, ffIX, ffX, ffX2. But My favourite is Final Fantasy Tactics. Mainly because I like stratigic games as well as rpg's. Maybe oneday I can play some of the other one's as well.

I love VII, X, and X-2 those are ones I mainly play the others I haven't really gotten in too or haven't played them.

I was a big fan of FF3(FF6), FF7, FF X-2, and FF12
The one I can really rant for hours on, though, is FF: Tactics...but i don't think i can apply a long enough post to this place to express my true feelings about this game...so we'll just stick with RoXXors your sox off bishes! xd
All the others were "ok" but they never really held my attention long enough to actually get into the games.
PS: Rikku is one SMOKIN' Ace in the Hole. xd

seven, although i think they are perverting the series now for money. Its so overdone with all the new little sephiroths and crap. Now Crisis Core is coming out next year and we'll learn more about Zack and Aeris....I liked not knowing. I liked having the ability to use my own imagination about those people and those events. Oh well.............also, they made Vincent ******** Vincent Valentine is a flaming emo. Why! WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hated 8, too much like a japanese soap.
12 was ok, but it lacked connection.
9 was great
also, my all time favorite other than seven. Tactics (for ps1) thats THE Final Fantasy game. It had all the other classes and it had the great story filled with all the drama. It also has freakin Beowulf in...Beowulf what the hell is Beowulf doing in final fantasy but he rocked.

7 is the most popular, I don't think it's the best by any means. I think that honor belongs to 6, followed closely by 4, then 9, then 7.

Well I happen to think that Seven kicks more a** than any of those. Especially the Japanese version that you cannot get in America. That is by far the best. ^^
