Returning to the Sanctuary

Keo had dragged Lucifer down to the sanctuary for the second time in a good long while. The boy always seemed so hesitant, especially after the place became deserted a few times. But sighing, Keo new Lucifer need to meet new people rather then hang around and become even more sour then he had gotten.

The Teyco himself was in the kitchen, looking at what supplies they had in the building. I'll have to go shopping sometime this week, he thought, checking the sell by date on the products.

Lucifer on the other hand, waited outside in the garden. Standing upon the bridge over the pond, he sighed trying to cover up the side of his face with his black hair. He didn't want any new people to stare if anyone came.

Eros peeked into the sactuary. His eyes scanned back and forth before he slipped inside. He had been gone for a while, away from the place and the friends that he had met here. He was sure that they were either mad at him for the disapearance or had forgotten about him all together. There were just things going on that he hadn't been able to overcome so easily but now that he had he hoped he would be able to start anew in this place.

He heard someone in the kitchen and walked over to peek in and gave a smile seeing Keo standing there, "Umm... ah..." He wondered if Lucifer had come along with Keo, he often did and that was the Teyco that he most wanted to see, to talk to, and to appoligize too. If Lucifer would let him that was, "Ah... Hello Keo." He greeted the older Teyco.

Keo paused in his searching for bad food and turned round to see who was speaking with one of his usual pleasant smiles. "Ah, Eros!" He grinned. "Wow, it's been a while, you are looking well."

He placed the tins in his hand in a bag that he was placing the out of date fod before he fully turned his attention to the younger Teyco. "How have things been?"

Eros nodded in agreement, it had been a while, "Ahh. Things have been well. Sorta busy too." He said with a smile, "My Mum has lots of new kids at her place and I was staying out with one of her friends for a while to get stuff sorted out." He said.

He looked around for a moment then up at Keo, "Is... Is Lucifer around?" He asked. He was both eager and nervous over the idea of meeting up with his friend again. "I... wanted to appoligize to him for disapearing. He must hate me for it."

"Ah I see.."

Keo then nodded, pointing in the direction of the garden. "He's out back, sorry to say he actually became rather cold when you disappeared. Plus there's been things going on that's not been going well for him." He said as a small warning to the Teyco would be careful at what to say.

"I will go and see him then." He murmured and then smiled, "Its nice to see you again Keo." He told him then hurried out of the room towards the garden. He didn't like the warning that had been in the others voice but decided that he would visit with Lucifer none the less. He wasn't sure if he should be afraid of the one that was once his friend and decided that he wouldn't be.

He stopped at the entrance to the garden and looked out into it, he smiled a little seeing him stand there with another Teyco child he paused and watched with wide crimson eyes. He hadn't realized until this moment how much he had missed the other Teyco.

Eros took a deep breath, gathered his courage and started forward towards him.

Lucifer watched the small child rolled down the hill and snorted. How pathetic. None the less it was a child and she reminded him of himself when he was her age. He walked over to the child and crouched down beside her, making sure the his face was still covered up by his hair. "Hey kid.. It's safer in the sanctuary, and there's a very nice man in there who likes kids." He noticed the smaller child's fear at how she was looking around, sensing it from her.

Hoping she was paying attention he pointed and looked back at the building. "Kids should out here anyway they should... Uh.." Lucifer jumped as he saw Eros for the first time in a long while, looking more scared then shocked or suprised.

Eros gave a small smile and lifted a hand to wave it, "Ah... H-Hello Lucifer." He said when he got closer to him. He didn't really like the sudden look that the other Teyco had on his face. That wasn't what he had been expecting, the scared look. He had expected anger or distain or something like that. He stopped within arms reach but kept his hands clasped behind his back.

Lucifer was too distracted to notice that the litle girl had run off. His face turning from being scared into anger. He really didn't know how to react, he'd thought Eros had abandoned him. "What are you doing here?" He managed to squeeze out of his slowly tightening neck. He teeth and fists were clenched as he tried to calm down his emotions. He'd always tell himself that maybe Eros was dead and that's why he had left him.

Eros looked down at his feet, "I-I wanted to come to see you, to come to talk to you and appoligize for everything." He murmured, "I know that I shouldn't have just disapeared but..." He shook his head that all didn't matter at the moment what mattered was that he had hurt his friend, "I'm really sorry Lucifer... If you want me to go I will and if you won't forgive me I will understand." He looked up at his once-friend his crimson eyes unsure, "I-If you want to hit me... feel free."

Lucifer bit down on his lip, fustrated. He HATED it when he couldn't think right, when his thoughts and feelings were conflicting. He didn't want Eros to go, otherwise he might never see him again, but how could he trust this Teyco again? "I.. I-I don't want you.. to go.. Nor... Nor hit you.." He clenched his teeth once again, pressing his palms into his face and looking towards the ground.

Why was this so hard for him?

Eros watched him for a long moment then stepped a little closer to him and lifted a hand to lay it over on Lucifer's shoulder, "I'm sorry." He murmured, "I know I can never say it enough." His heart was racing, at least he didn't want for him to leave that was something right? And he hadn't taken Eros up on the offer to hit him that was something that Eros was grateful for.

But... now he was hiding his face again, as he had done when Lucifer was just little bitty and they had just met, "Lucifer? Please don't hide from me. Yell at me if it will help."

He didn't budge, his arms were shaking. Dry sobs could be heard, but there were no tears. Lucifer never cried, for no one. "Why did you leave me!? Was it because of me?! Is it my face?! My skin?!"

This was the first time in a long long time that he was able to speak about such things in such a manner.

Eros's eyes went huge hearing his words and he shook his head rapidly in shock, "No! No it wasn't that, nothing like that!" He cried, "Lucifer I always have and always will think that your beautiful no matter what others may think or say." He told him then reached forward to wrap his arms around the other Teyco and hugged him tightly not having meant to make him so upset, "I left because of myself, my own weakness caused me to run away. It was nothing you did. You were my best friend Lucifer."

His eyes opened in shock at being suddenly touched by hands other then his own, or Dk. After the shock was over however, he wrapped his arms around Eros' neck, hugging him tightly while burying his face in the Teyco's shoulder.

"But you were fine, you were happy the last time I saw you!" He mumbled. He didn't really understand why Eros would of left him because of himself.

"I was. Sorta." He murmured, "Just... off was all. I don't know its hard to explain." He wasn't sure how to explain his emotions going haywire on him. Rayne had told him it was no doubt puberty which had only gotten him all that much more embaressed when she had tried to tell him that was normal etc. Hence why he went to stay a while with her friend Shin, "I was sorta in an emotional blender and I didn't want to drag anyone in with me. Especially you."

"You could have told me..." He said lifting up his head to look up at Eros. "You could have told me and not left me!"

Again he was clenching his teeth to hold back his emotions. He was angry and upset. Yet he was glad to have his friend back, continually fustrating his mind.

Eros gave a little wince, "Probably, hence why I said it was my own weakness that drove me away. I ran without thinking then hid until I got everything in my mind under control. It was foolish I know, the worst desicion I ever made but..." He looked down at Lucifer, lost his train of thought and smile, "There see. Your looking at me again." He said sounding happy about that. Eros leaned over to kiss Lucifer's forehead, "Will you let me try to make it up to you?" He asked, "I want to be friends again."

Lucifer was taken back by the kiss upon his forehead and frowned a little. What if he left him again? He'd just become worse then what he was now. "You won't leave me again, atleast, not without saying something first?"

He looked at Eros seriously with his eye that was not covered by hair. "I won't be able to take it if you leave me like that again!"

"I won't leave again without telling you first. I would rather just not leave again in general though. I want to stay." He said with a soft smile, "But if sor some reason though it looks like I have just come to my house with a collar and leash and drag me back ok?" He told Lucifer with a wink. He had a second chance and he didn't mean to mess up again.

Lucifer's frown twitched itself into a small smile. He never smiled these days unless he was being smug when he proves someone wrong or got revenge on Reno. "If I can't drag you back, I'll just stay until you do." He replied in a lighter tone then he had been using.

"That sounds good too." He told him then gave a small sigh of relief. He felt so much better now then when he had come in. Everything seemed so much brighter now in his eyes now that is mood was lightened, "I'm so glad that I came to the Sanctuary today."

Lucifer placed his head back on Eros' shoulder, hugging him tighter. He nodded, hesitating to reply. "I'm.. glad that Keo dragged me here.." Perhaps that didn't sound so happy.

Eros wrapped his arms around Lucifer then sat down on the bridge with him and smiled, "I remeber I used to hold you like this a lot when you were tiny." He said with a grin, "Lucifer was an adorable little baby." He smiled more brightly and the little heart on his cheek seemed to shimmer as it did when his mood was at its best.

Lucifer looked up at Eros with an odd look. "I'm not a baby anymore, I'm a teen.." Looking down at the lake below however he sighed. What happy memories they were. "You look older then you were then."

"Well I don't know if you would much appreciate being called an 'adorable teen'." He told him then Eros tilted his head then gave a smile, "Do I look older? I don't think I've gotten any bigger that I know of but I might have matured a little." He said lifting a hand to his own face as if to check then gave a laugh.

"Matured then, it is the same thing.. Kind of..." He said back. "Plus you're taller then me anyway because you're older."

He lifted a hand to Ero's chee to touch the little heart there, trace it with his thumb."

"Taller maybe but I bet anything that your much stronger then I am. I will be the first to admit that I'm a bit of a wimp." He said then tilted his head, eyes sinking half closed as Lucifer touched the heart on his cheek.

"Possibly, I have had the time to practise on a sibling of mine..." His eyes became cold again however as he mentioned this sibling, his red eye glowing from underneath his black hair.

If Reno ever came near Eros, he'd rip the little bug's arms off him, he thought as he scowled.

Eros tilted his head at Lucifer's none to happy look and was almost curious about this sibling that he mentioned. He must really dislike him if he made such a face over him, "Your face is gonna stick like that if you keep making such a face." He said with a grin hoping to get Lucifer's mind off what was making him so angry.

"Huh!? No it won't!" He said with angered eyes while sticking his tongue out before putting it back in.

"You are only supposed to say that when I pull a face, it's nonsense anyway." He said matter of factly.

Eros stuck his tongue out at Lucifer a the moment forgetting his age since Lucifer started it before he nodded, "No doubt it is nonsense but I figured I had to say something to get your attention." He told him with a grin.

"No need to say such a thing to get my attention." He stated, leaning his head upon Eros' shoulder.

"Just say my name or something." He gave Eros a small smile again.

"Alright then. Next time I will just call your name." He told him and wrapping an arm around Lucifer's waist lightly and let his eyes close as he held him. It felt nice to be with Lucifer again, to get to hold him once more.

Meeting the Twins

The were-elf stumbled in, one twin infront of her pulling her along by her pantleg. The other behind her, stuck to the oposite pant leg. "Eeh! Slow down!" She flailed to keep her balance between the two, ofcourse the whole thing might have been easier where she not pregnent(woogmfc o_o) But. She was. So time to deal with it.

Kodoku ignored her plea for slowing down "Hurry hurry! We're almost there!" more tugging followed. The spikey black haired teyco grinned widely, letting go of her and bolting into the sanctuary as soon as they hit the doorway.

Kagi stuck behind her, looking up worridly as she tried to catch her balances when his twin let go. She appeared fine, so there was no need to scurry away and avoid being crushed. He wasn't sure if he wanted to be here or not, he'd rather be at home reading. But as Arafel walked in so did he.

Eros walked into the building not to long after Arafel and her little group. He had a bag slung over his shoulder that he was being careful of as he looked around. He spotted the others and wave a wave and a smile, "Hello." He greeted. He wondered if Lucifer was around, he didn't see him at the moment and did see some that he didn't know, "How are you doing? My name is Eros."

Arafel blinked, trying to keep Kodoku under control at the time, she looked up with a smile and a wag of her tail "Hello. I'm Arafel, this is kagi and Kodoku." she gestured to the two as she spoke.

As soon as she looked away Kodoku bolted to the older teyco, staring up at him wide eyed "I'm Kodoku. Why's your hair pink? Is that a heart? I heard hearts were for girls. But your a guy. You are a guy ri-mmph!"

Arafel's eye twitched as she grabbed the child away, covering his mouth before he could spew out any more questions. "Eheh..heh..." she gave a smile to Eros, and then a glare to Kodoku. "What did I tell you about that?!" she hissed at him.. trying to keep her voice a whisper.

Kodoku blinked and then nodded, causing her hand to remove itself "I'm sorry." he gave a cute look to his elder.

Kagi blinked at his brothers forewardness, rolling his eyes a bit. He glanced at the pink haired teyco biting his lip a bit and giving a wave to be polite. He'd allready been introduced.. no need to do it again.

Eros blinked a couple times then laughed, "Hair is pink cause... I guess it wants to be and yup. A heart." He said lifting a finger to tap it, "Was the shape of the stone that I was born from actually." He told the very inquisitive little one as the questions didn't bother him in the least, "Its ok. I don't mind the questions at all Miss." He assured Arafel.

He looked over at Kagi and gave a wave back, "Hello there." He was very quiet compared to Kodoku so far wasn't he?

"ohh." Kodoku grinned, pointing to the black spot under his eye. "We're Yin and yang! I think i was the white part. I don't remember." he shrugged, yanking his twin out from behind their mother. "See he has a white one!"

Kagi froze, being dragged out from behidn his sheild. A wide-eyed stare as he looked like a deer caught int he headlights. "Y.. Yes.. White represents.. masculinity, the sun, creation, heat, light, Heaven, dominance." He named it off rather well, pausing to remember his own "An-n-d mine.. Feminiety, the moon, completion, cold, darkness, material forms, submission." before he had finised the sentance he was ducking behind his brother.

Kodoku grinned and patted his brother on the head "He's smart! He reads alot. Do you read?"

Eros nodded, "I read some here and there yes." He said looking over at the other boy who was hiding behind his Kodoku, very smart that one. Knew stuff that he didn't. Course he had never researched a.. what was it called a yin yang that he could remember, "Mostly cooking at the moment. I'm learning how to make all kinds of foods to share with Lucifer."

He lifted his hand to pat his bag, "I packed the newest stuff I've tried up and came here but I don't see him around anywhere yet."

"I heard cooking was for gi..." he flinched at the feel of his moms glare behind him. "For everyone!" Yea, nice cover.
He fumbled a bit, moving over to peer at the bag "Whats in there?" he asked curiously, getting up on his toes in hopes of seeing what was inside.. no such luck.

Kagi tilted his head, "Brother.. Y.. You shouldn't pry.." he fidgeted with his shirt, slowly moving back to Arafel.

Eros gave a little grin then took the bag off of his shoulder and showed him. It was a bunch of food in either foil or in tuperware, "These are my latest creations. Im getting better and better at making stuff." He told them sounding quite proud of himself, "I will share." He flushed and looked at Arafel, "That is if its ok with you Miss." He didn't want to ruin their appetites or anything like that.

Kodoku peered in the bag, giving a sniff at the food to see if he could tell what ti was. He couldn't.. but he was sure his mom could. She had a great nose.
He looked up at Eros, then back at Arafel "Pleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease!" He begged, giving her his 100watt smile.

Arafel laughed a bit and nodded "Sure. I don't mind. Just don't eat too much Kodoku. And be polite." she nodded, idley petting kagi who had situated himself in her lap with no clue as to her doing so.

Kagi gave his brother a look to remind him "Thank you Eros..." he smiled a bit, more comfortable now that he was safely with his mother.

Kodoku nodded "Thanks!" and eagerly awaited the new food he'd get to try.

Eros smiled then took out several different things. The first one was foil wrapped and when opened up it contained some sliced up boneless chicken and vegetables, "There is this," then next thing to be opened up was a tuperware of cookies, "And these which I think are the best thing that I can make," he opened up another thing that held some salad, "If you like salad. Im more of a fan of it then most meat myself," and then he dug around some more and found some forks and held them out to the other two to take from him, "Try whatever you think looks good." He told them.

Kodoku eyed the foods, nearly going for the cookies first.
"Kodoku..."
He flinched, and switched to the chicken. Making sure to save room for the cookies.

Kagi looked over hte foods thoughtfully.. Before smiling and taking the salad with a thankyou and returning to his mother's lap to eat.

After a second kodoku blurted yet another thing out "This is good! You hould make mashed patatoes to go with it." he nodded firmly to himself eating slower than he wanted to. Which just kept the food from being shoved down his throat. "And mom can't make salads."

Kagi blinked keeping his mouth shut about the part involving Arafel. "It's good."

"I thank you both." He said deciding that cooking for people was a very enjoyable experiance, that and when he did he got their opinions on things and would know how to make things better or what would go better with them. It was like research in a more people focused sort of way.

Eros smiled brightly, "I will try to make the mashed potatoes next time then." He said making a mental note to himself about that.

Meeting with Sephiroth

Eros headed into the HQ his normal bag on his shoulder, he had tried out some foods of Asian variety this time around. He hoped that Lucifer would be around today so that he could have him try it out. His skills were growing in leaps and bounds now and he was able to make the more complicated recipes in the books that he had been buying.

He walked over to sit down in front of the table and started to unpack the food, he had some sushi while he didn't favor it but Jing liked it, some odd little sticky rice cakes that were wrapped in bamboo leaves, and some green tea.

He smiled some then went into the kitchen to fetch some dishes.

Looking up as the other teyco came through the doors he quickly went back to the book of physiological organisms he was reading. It was after all just Lucifer's little heart boyfriend.

Probably out looking for the other teyco and ended up here.

Eros returned with a couple plates and some dishes and glanced over giving a little jump not having notice the person that was sitting there reading, "Ahh. Hello." He greeted giving him a smile then walked over to set the plates down on the table as well before getting his cup out of his bag and poured himself a cup of tea, "Would you like some?" He offered to the silver haired teen, "All up for grabs."

Looking back up he quirked an eyebrow before looking back at his book again. Perky little fellow wasn't he?

"No thank you." he said calmly and coldly not even looking at the young man anymore.

"Alright, well the offer stands if you want some later. I'm not that big a fan of the sushi, kinda tastes odd to me." He told him giving it an odd look then sat down on the couch and sipped his tea glancing over at the other boy over his cup.

"Is there anyone else around?" He asked, not sure if he knew Lucifer so he couldn't ask about the Forsaken by name.

"If you mean is Lucifer here then the answer is no." he said flipping the page of his book.

This one liked to talk. Alot like the fox had. A small smirk formed on his features as he thought of that one.

He certainly wouldn't be doing much of that now would he? His smirk became more malicious as he thought of the 'fun' they had, had.

"Ah... haha." He flushed a bit then sipped some more of his tea, ok so he knew who he was looking for then? That was a rather... "Ahh. You know Lucifer then?" He asked tilting his head to the side, "Its been a while since I've seen him." He murmured.

The pink Teyco shook his head then smiled, "My name is Eros." He said deciding to introduce himself since it felt as if the other knew about him somehow.

Placing the book down in his lap when it appeared that this one would not stop talking no matter how interested he seemed in his book he replied "Lucifer lives at my home with his father and siblings. Our parents are a couple."

Sighing rather loudly he looked the pink teyco up and down before deciding he may as well play nice since he may be useful to have against Lucifer in the future. After all who knew how powerful the teyco would become and it would be nice to have a pawn to use against him.

"Sephiroth." he said quietly.

"Ahh. I see." He murmured, so this one did know Lucifer. He didn't seem very talkative though and Eros was getting the sneaking suspicion that he might be doing little more then bothering Sephiroth, "Well it is nice to meet you Sephiroth, I will leave you to your book." He said digging into his bag once more to get out some choclate cookies with white chocolate chips in them. He set the bag on the table after taking one of them out to eat with his tea, "I appoligize if I bothered you overly, you could tell me to take a hike and I won't be to bothered by it."

Trying his best to seem less irritated he smiled tightly while setting his book aside.

"No I have been told I am not friendly enough and need to get to know others. So please if you wish to stil talk with me I would appreciate it." he said trying even harder not to seem malicious or intimidating in anyway. In fact if his smile was given a bit more warmth it could be considered friendly even.

He looked up at him over his cup of tea and there was a momentary whisper that told him to be wary but he ignored it like normal and smiled back, "Ahh. I see, well thats not very nice. You don't seem that bad." The words of the naieve and innocent, Eros set his cup down after he finished the contents, "Ahh. I would like to ask you about Lucifer if you don't mind, I just haven't seen him for a while now and was curious if he is alright."

He didn't want for Lucifer to think that he had abandon him again when he had been visiting the place regularly but always seemed to miss the Forsaken.

A small light lit in those impossibly deep greenish blue eyes as he was asked about Lucifer. His smile turned to a rather subdued grin as he replied "Lucifer is fine and very busy as of late. He and I have become rather close."

He was about to guage how that made the other Teyco felt since any information could be useful in the future.

Eros tilted his head to the side wondering what he meant by 'very close' then decided that it wasn't really his business who Lucifer was really close with. Not after he had gone away for so long and left Lucifer alone.

His curiousity to know gnawed at him though, "Oh... well that nice." He said with a nod of his refilling his glass to distract himself from all the the sorts of 'very close' that he knew o

"Yes it is." Sephiroth said noting the way the boy was filling the cup trying his best to not question him about it. He may as well bite his lip and rock back and forth trying to stop himself.

Busying oneself with other tasks was an obvious way to avoid doing something they might regret.

"He has said that you two are rather good friends but that you left him alone for a while. Did he do something to deserve this?" he asked smiling in the fake pleasant way he had suddenly seemed to perfect.

Eros jerked his gaze up setting his cup down rather loudly, "I told him that it wasn't his fault that I left, it was my own problems that led me astray." He told Sephiroth, his voice a little louder then he had meant it to be. Then he flushed, cleared his throat, averted his gaze, "Sorry, sorry. I didn't meant to raise my voice." He muttered quietly lifting his tea to take a sip hoping that it would sooth his nerves like it was supposed to do. Well according to what he read anyway.

When Eros averted his eyes Sephiroth's smile turned malicious but quick changed back to cold indifference as he didn't want to tip the other teyco off to what he was doing.

"I am sure he understands that and has forgiven you for leaving him alone all that time." he said in a mimicing of a reassuring and compassionate tone he had heard Mei ling use on Adako once.

Leaning forward he even went so far as to pat his shoulder gently. There that should be nice enough to make him trust him.

"Maybe... I guess." He said starring into his cup, "Though I don't see why he should, it was a horrible thing I did no matter the reasons." He said lifting his gaze to look up at Sephiroth when the other laid a hand on his shoulder and he welt a little still. With him so close, touching him, it seemed... louder. That voice calling out to him that he shouldn't trust him, that he was dangerous.

"Umm..." He was at a lose, he couldn't jerk away without seeming really rude now could he? He didn't want to upset Lucifer's... friend... brother... whatever Sephiroth was to Lucifer.

"Either way, even if he has forgiven me I want to be careful and not screw up again." He told the other, forcing himself to be calm in hopes that it would make the other back up a little bit.

Sephiroth's eyes iced over as he noted a new small amount of tension in the young man. So it would appear hea was going to have to work on this one harder either that or when the time came to use him against Lucifer it simply wouldn't be as gentle as he had first planned it to be. That suited him fine. No need to befriend the niave and annoyingly happy teyco then.

Sitting back he regarded him somewhat coolly as he brought his hands up in a steeple in front of his mouth.

"Of course then perhaps you should work hard on making him see that you don't intend for that to happen again. In fact you should go find him as soon as you can since he might be the one leaving you this time." he said his voice was quiet yet held a frozen and almost caustic note to it. Enough nicey nice no more playing with the weaklings around here.

Eros's eyes narrowed a little bit, "Whats that supposed to mean?" He asked.

Sephiroth's game of nice seemed to be over and Eros didn't really like the feeling that he got from the guy, he felt cold and dark, dangerous as that voice inside of him said. He started to pack up his bag, "What do you mean Lucifer is the one who will leave this time?" He supposed that he deserved it, he left Lucifer and the Forsaken would leave him in turn? To show him how it felt?

That or the silver haired Teyco was just being a jerk.

Just smiling at Eros with that horribly malicious smirk of his he simply picked up his book and began to read it again.

These idiots were simply too easy somedays.

Eros gave a snort getting up to his feet, "I don't believe you." He said, "I think your just one of those jerks that gets his kicks from picking on other people." He told him then started to gather the dishes to bring into the kitchen.

Ignoring the other Teyco he flipped the page and flicked some loose strands of silver hair out of his face as he read.

It almost seemed that he didn't realize that Eros were still there even. His voice fading into the back ground as though it were white noise.

Eros starred at him a moment then laughed, well that just proved it. The guy was just a complete a** and nothing more. He headed into the kitchen to drop off the dishes then walked by the other one last time, biting back the erge to throw something at him as he doubted he had the strength to put up a fight were Sephiroth to start one.

He then headed out the backdoor into the garden deciding to go out there, it was far more calming then inside at the moment and he would rather be outside with the wild animals then inside with that one.

Sitting there cotently he flipped the page in his book not even breaking the momentum he had in reading it.

It had been a lovely day after all to come out and read he thought with a grin.

Thoughtful

It was the best way that he saw that he should take care of things, first he had gotten home from the Teyco sanctuary and he had gone up to take a nap. He had been rather sleepy after all, then he just went to go and cook. And cook, cook, cook. He made up half a dozen of the most difficult things that he had seen in the books and they had come out perfect. He looked at the food and hated it though, it looked perfect rather to perfect. It didn't really have the same 'made with love' feeling that the other stuff he had made did. While the food he prepared before hadn't looked that well since presentation really hadn't been what mattered as it was just going to be cut up and put into containers so that it was easier to carry around with him so that he could share it.

He gave a bit of a sigh as he poked at one of the desserts that he had made before going to fetch a fork and set to eating it.

Really in the giant perspective of things he figured that he really had nothing that he could say did he? He had left to go to stay with Rayne's friend Shin, to sort his lift and emotions out and it was only right that the world went on without him. He really did think though that Lucifer should have better taste then that though, Sephiroth was a... a jerk! He took another bite of the cake and gave a bit of a laugh, he was all alone, talking in his mind and he couldn't come up with anything better then 'jerk' huh? That was rather sad...

Oh well, he supposed that it came from his feeling that he shouldn't really think badly on anyone, everyone had their good sides right? He was sure that... somewhere under it all that Sephiroth was a good person... Eros gave a snort and took another bite. Ok, even he was having a hard time buying that one. He had hung out with the guy once and had only gotten twitchy and annoyed with him, Sephiroth gave off dangerous vibes that he didn't much care for in the least. So maybe he was the expection to the rule? One never knew he supposed.

Eros lifted to itch at the aching heart on his cheek, it was currenly a dull and lifeless color. What an annoying thing, it was like a damn mood indicator that made it so he couldn't fake anything around people that knew him well. He rubbed at it then got up to his feet, abandoning the kitchen to head into the livingroom. He plopped down on the couch in there and picked up on of his cook books. He started to read through it while eating, trying to get his mind off things. He didn't see why his mind was insisting upon going back to that scene, insisting upon replaying it for him and him wondering if he should have said something, done something.

"Like what? Make an a** of yourself?" He muttered.

That would have only been embaressing and he didn't want to think of the reactions of the other two had he stepped forward and said something. The plate was set aside after he finished off what he had cooked and then tossed the cook book aside, it landed on the floor with a dull thud and he rolled onto his leftside so that his heart would be hidden against the couch and he let his eyes close again. He didn't feel like looking up any more receipes. That had been just a foolish idea he had gotten out of a book to impress Lucifer anyways. Before that he had wanted to do other things, wanted to learn magic, wanted to cast spells. Then again he really didn't have the appitude for it, no real innate powers either so the sort of magic he would have had to learn was the book sort where you used spell components in place of inante know how.

Maybe he should take that up again? He gave a little yawn, "Maybe I will..."

Meeting Between Lucifer and Eros

This was a hard thing for Eros in the begining but it seem to grow easier and easier as the meeting of the two Teyco progressed. Eros is actually looking forward to seeing Lucifer again and isn't as ready to run back to hiding with Shin.

Oops

'KER-POOF!'

There was a mushroom shaped cloud of smoke followed by coughing and Eros stummbling out of the kitchen his hands over his stinging eyes while Rayne hurried over to him, her hands catching hold of his and drew them down, "What happened? Are you ok? Can you see?" She asked frantically of the pink haired Teyco who seemed to be rather stunned over what had just happened, almost to the point that he couldn't speak, "Eros? Maybe we should go to the doctor?" She said turning for a moment to fetch her shoes when his laughter caused her to turn around and stare at him as if he had lost his mind.

"Ah... that was... just." More giggles as he looked back at the big pot on the stove that was seeming to be simmering nicely now, no more smoke was billiowing from it and the smoke in the kitchen was rising and seeming to disperse at the moment. More giggles, "Oh wow that was... a lot different wasn't it?"

Rayne's gray eyes were filled with confusion and the Teyco gave her a smile, "When you mess up with cooking you never seem to have such a reaction do you?" Eros said then took her hand and led her into the kitchen and pointed at the pot that was sitting on the stove. She walked over and looked into it, instead of finding stew or pasta it was instead being used for the moment as a cauldron instead.

"Spell components?" She said as realization struck, he had mixed something of the wrong dosages and it had just reacted violentely was all. Well... not so much violently as smokey she supposed. She shook her head and gave him a bit of a look, "You really should be careful. What if that had been worse? What if you had blinded yourself?!" It seemed that now her composure was slipping a bit now that she knew that her son was alright.

Eros gave a squeak, "Its a simple spell, even at its worse these ingredients wouldn't do more then smoke up a room or make the pot disapear to who knows where." Which made him wonder, where did things vanish to when someone just messed up a spell? He would like to find the place and see how many things were laying there in a pile. It was no doubt the same dimention that Jing was always complaining about, the one where all of the left socks went.

"Even so...!" She said.

"I know that you were worried and I thank you for that. I am ok and the kitchen is ok." Eros assured her, the heart on his cheek flickering a little.

She reached out to run her thumb over it then sighed, "I suppose that your doing far less to give me a heart attack then the rest of your brothers." She told him then sighed, shook her head and headed back into the diningroom leaving him to his magic making. As long as he didn't turn himself into something odd then she supposed that it would be fine right? Yeah...

Here Kitty, Kitty!

Eros's eyes flickered open again and he gave a bit of a sigh, that had been odd. Fainting hadn't been something that he had ever done before. One of those experiances that he never wanted to do again thank you. He pushed up to his feet, staggered a step forward then fell forward onto all four... paws? Eros let out a howling sound of shock and stummbled back a few steps, 'AH! WHAT HAPPENED!' He cried, or at least tried to cry. It came out as a mess of hissing and meowing. His magenta eyes turned to glare accusingly at the spilled juice, 'Juice? ... wait? AUGH! Its one of those potions that Yuki made!' He ran around in a frantic circle, tripping up. He fell forward again, his tail flicking back and forth. His footing, now that he had extra ones, wasn't very good was it?

He pushed up to his feet again and looked around, whimpering when he saw Rayne appear, his ears laid back and he gave her a pathetic Mrowr!

"Huh? Hey there kitty how did you get in here?" She murmured kneeling down to scoop up the pink cat which immediently curled up against her, "Poor thing. You must be lost huh?"

Eros clung to her with his claws that he didn't even realize he had and lifted his gaze to hers, 'Come on! You can't look at me and not see who I am!' He mewed at her.

"Careful with those claws there kitty... relax..." She said and peeled his claws off of her shirt, then tilted her head to the side watching the cat more closely as it STARRED at her, "Wait a sec... Eros?" ACK! Her son had turned into a cat! She gave a squeak, it had to be him he was the only one that had such eyes and that heart on his cheek. But how... what had happened to him? Did Teyco often turn into cats?

Her trained of thought was cut off when she saw the glass bottle sitting on the floor, tipped on its side, "Yukito...?" She murmured then looked towards the stairs that would lead to where the white dragon's room was. She gave a grummbling sound then hurried to the stairs, "YUKITO!"

Eros gave a wince as his brother appeared at the top of the stairs, "What?" He asked, looking pretty shocked at being summoned like that.

"What did you do to Eros?" She demanded of him, hugging the cat to her chest.

Yukito looked dumbfounded, "Huh?" He hurried down the stairs and took the cat from her, looking him over in a way that almost had the pink cat hissing, "How...? Oh... Oops..."

"Oops? What oops?" Rayne asked, worried now. oh no! What did that mean?

"I had put them in the fridge earlier... I meant to take them out and bring them up to my room when I got the potions upstairs all labeled so that something like this wouldn't happen... ah... I'm sorry Eros." He said putting the cat down on the stairs.

Eros gave him a look that clearly said, 'Sorry isn't enough', hissed at him, then turned to go back into the livingroom. He hopped up onto the couch and sat down. His eyes locked on his brother and just starred at him, tail twitching... Augh! He had a tail... the Teyco flopped over and gave a pathetic sound. What would his friends think of him now? How awful...
