it depends. Different orders have different rules. There's nothing in the book about monks not being allowed to get drunk. That's something that would depend on the order the monk is in.

Hunter Rose (the grendel) I think the day after penalty is dependant on the amount you drunk and besides, aren't monks suppose to be sober? THATS OUTTA CHARACTER! Well.. this is the OOC thread. I'd watch out with drunks monks in the play thread. rofl

Aravol I believe I can provide a reason for DnD to allow Monks to get drunk; Drunken Master Yes, exactly! And as for Bruce Lee...as cool as Bruce Lee was, an "average" stat for any Race is either 9 or 10...so even with Bruce Lee as being above Average, the average D&D adventurer could probably take him.

PHB doesn't have any prestige classes, but the DMG might. If not, it could be in the Monk supplemental book "Sword and Fist"
*EDIT* yeah I checked, it's in Sword and Fist

I am keeping a list of our character sheets in the Play Thread's opening post so we don't have to worry about the Character Sheet thread getting too cluttered.

I am looking for an online copy of the main FR books for 3 and 3.5 if anyone knows, let me know. Those books also have FR specific Prestige Classes and Feats.

DarkHayama that torrent I gave you should have the forgotten realms book. It does, so I have the PDF if anyone wants it. I was looking for a link I could post so players could just visit it at their leisure, but if anyone wants the PDF let me know.
