"Ah well. I applaud you in quitting for the time being." she nodded, pausing for a moment.
"I suppose, before we get to far. Did either of you have any questions?"

"Yes. Sex. Please? Can we? Safely?" he rolled his eyes at his lover, "If you haven't noticed, Patrick, I'm part feline. And who said anything about you ******** a FEMALE? Don't tell me the pregnancy clogged your hearing up..." he shook his head then and sighed.
"I want him to quit smoking, but he won't."

"I stopped smoking weed when I got Iamel, back in October. Kiddlets and pot don't mix. Cigarettes stopped when I saw the bump in the stomach - because, goddamnit, those don't go either. But y'know what, Mordread? My body. My lungs. I don't smoke in the house and you didn't even KNOW about it until I told Crazyman so...Just drop it. Okay?"
He grumped and shakes his head, nose wrinkling up. "yeah. Safe sex. And there's two. That'll mean they're smaller, right?"

Julia just watched the two nitpick at one another. Raising an eyebrow she shook her head briefly, but was quick to attention when Patrick addressed her with the inquiry about the children.
"Twins? Hmm..." she thought for a moment, tapping her chin with one of her neatly trimmed nails.
"Generally, yes. They are smaller than most newborns. However there have been cases of them being born as healthy weighted babies. From what Cray's file states, however, the children you have are at a healthy size and weight for how far along you are. Well, of course he can only estimate that."

She was avoiding the sex question! Mordread's tail flicked in slight annoyance - both at the avoidance and the snappy tone Patrick had come with. Being who he was, however, he was simply quiet about both.
"Good," he murmured, "Glad they're healthy."
Green eyes simply stared at the desk, ears flat against his skull.

Patrick deflated when he saw Mordread shut up and lay his ears back like that. He grabbed his lovers chair and dragged him closer, nose pressing against the others temple. "...your the closest thing to a girl I can remember ********, no one else.. and you drive me crazy." The dark man murmured, kissing at his lovers neck. "You know my moods get bitchy, MOrdread, I'm sorry...."
"...so is sex safe?" He reitterated towards the woman, clinging to his kittybitch tightly.

Somewhere amidst their conversation, Julia hadn't realized they'd actually realized that they were asking if sex would be safe for them. She was a bit confused as to why they hadn't questioned Cray on this; then again. Who would want to stay any longer with him than they had to? Heh.
"Yes, sex is still safe. As long as you are comfortable." she pulled the pen back out from behind her ear and began to scribble down more notes.
"If it becomes uncomfortable, however, I would suggestion ceasing intercourse until after the child is born.

Mordread smiled weakly at the affection, leaning into his lover and closing his green eyes, "I know they are and I know you are. But I'm not a girl, or in anyway close to it," he laughed and peeped at Julia then, one eye open.
Yay! Sex was fine! "It better not get uncomfortable..."
He was half tempted to make a grab at his lover right then and there. However, he didn't think it would be good form to do that. So he wrapped his hands around Patrick's hands instead.

Patrick hesitated. "...I dunno. OUr house isn't 'sane'. What would happen if they didn't want to keep coming?"

"I imagine that will be a bridge to cross when we come to it." she smiled and nodded to this. Really, and sadly, the truth was they didn't have much of a choice in the children coming back here. Part of her felt guilty that these parents would have to go through what was coming.
But she simply reassured herself that it was for the benefit of scientific advancement.
... Not that she could explain exactly what the benefit was.

"Is...Is that all then? I can't think of any more questions, and unless Patrick has some..." he shrugged his shoulders lightly, tail winding itself around his lover's oversized waist. Mordread just happy that the mini spat was over and the babies were nice and healthy.
That was really all that mattered to him.

Well, that had been unexpected. "Well... I suppose if you really wanted to, you could bring them in with your twins when they're born and I could speak with them." she continued scribbling in her notes.
"By the way, is this going to be a natural birth, or will you be having a c-section?"

"Uhhh, I think I can answer that. C-section. I don't think he can push babies out of a hole THAT small. Unless they were like...pea babies. And even then, that'd be a long shot."

Patrick gave a firm nod. "C-section and I want to be drugged so bad I'm gonna think I'm being ******** instead of having brats ripped out of me." His voice was just as firm, fingertips gliding over his lovers sensitive tail.
