(And probably fail.)
But if you do take over the United States, promise you won't kill me?

Yes they are!
Hm, now all I need to do is research more about Hitler to see what he did wrong, down to the dot.

I don't think he did anything wrong, but he did have a lot of things going against him.
For one, he had most of the world against him from the start. The Soviet Union, even though it signed a nonaggression pact with Germany in the beginning of the war, knew it was going to engage in combat with Hitler. The two rival totalitarianist regimes had some serious competition going between them. (Just don't invade Russia, especially during the winter. Napoleon screwed up there.)
Germany had to deal with the naval blockade set up by Britain. It was slowly starving the Germans to death. In response, the Germans set up a U-boat blockade to starve the Britains to death. Oh, that reminds me. The bombing of the Lusitania and the Zimmermann note both contributed to the entrance of the United States into World War II. Don't drag neutral countries into war.
The Germans were attacked on two fronts: the east and the west. Fighting on two fronts means dividing forces between two spots. Dividing forces means means weaker troops. The Russians from the east and the United States from the west eventually met at Berlin.
But at least Hitler got the idea of a blitzkrieg right. Quickly defeating France was a good move.
...you do know that you can face world opposition along your way to world domination, right?

Yes, I know. I'll just have to do better than Hitler ever did. Plus, technology has advanced farther since he tried. cool

True, you do have to work against technology.

I can brainwash my Chief and Colonel and then every other cadet in the group.
Now my brain is working on overtime. >.<

Heh, dictator you say? I'd be a dictator if managing the world wasn't so hard. I'd really prefer to have one of my 'people' as a dictator, and then I could just tell them to do what I want from time to time. That sounds like a good plan to me. But since I'm too lazy to put that into place, I want to be a psychiatrist, since I tend to psycho-analyze people already. At least then I'll be paid lots of money to do it. Though whenever I tell anyone my career aspirations they tell me that they get to come and see me for free. 'Tch, yeah right. Other than psychiatry I want to try and dabble in being a novelist or possibly doing some comic work. I still need to work a lot on my drawing skills before I can truely call myself a comic artist. That and reign my muse...vindictive little thing that it is...
[[By the by, I tend to ramble. Just in case you didn't really notice it.]]
