Not really. You have to understand where the character is coming from when he makes the decisions that he does

OK but hes a n a*****e no matter where he came from ro what his backround is

He is not an a** whole. You may see him that way. But really he is concerned for the planet. you should watch some of the trailers for SR that pretty much explains what Lex is al about. Lex is upset and worried that Clark is going to use his powers to take over the world. Watch this trailer:

well in sr lex is a stuborn fool as far as i can see in the commericals. i already saw the commercials and were talkign about smallville NOT SR. Sr has nothing to do with whats going on in smallville

Acutaully it has everything to do with it. The Lex in the movie is the man that the lex in the show is going to become. They both have the same intentions. Its not so much the difference in the actors and one is a full length movie and the other is a series as much as understanding what Lex is thinking because you obviously don't understand why Lex is doing what he is. it all adds up to the man Lex wil become

Its not so much the difference in the actors and one is a full length movie and the other is a series as much as understanding what Lex is thinking because you obviously don't understand why Lex is doing what he is. it all adds up to the man Lex wil become

well he has good and bad intentions.... but he can be an a*****e. like when he burned chloe..... and when he blackmailed a girl to hypnotize clakr into having sex with her when clana is still together..

Smallville isnt just like every other show, each episode is different and teaches you different lessons on the way. So i cant really say what it has tought me because it has tought me to much.

True he did burn out Chloe but really everyone does the same thing. Lex felt attacked and violated. CHloe kind of just barged in on him unscheduled and started making threat and accusations. Although Lex would normally disregaurd it and find other ways of Blackmailing Chloe later, Lex knew things on CHloe right off the bat and used those to defend himself. Lex Hipnotized the girl to be with Lana because Lex knew that Clana was a doomed relationship, true he wanted Lana for himself, but he could also see how unhealthy their relationship was and he knew Clark had a secret. He thought that if Lana was going to be taken away from Clark, CLark would do what ever it took to get her back such as teling her his secret.

Remember in Reckoning, Clark told Lana and Lex automatically knew that Clark told her his secret. He would exploit it using Lana.

Lex is a master manipulating wolf. Lana is an innocent sheep. He could easily get it out of her with a matter of words. Even if she didn't say directly tht she knew Lana could let something Loose and Lex would be all ears. He and Lana are close. Even before they were together. They were frien sand they communicated with each other quite frequently.
