Amelia Atwater-Rhodes....I think part of why I like her so much is because she's only a year older than me and her first book was published when she was 14 I think. AND she's a really good writer. I love her books! (they're a bit too short though)
There are other authors I like though like....
Kara Dalkey, Tanith Lee, Patricia C. Wrede, Garth Nix, and S.E. Hinton to name a few.

Selzion_Rift [by TSR Hobbies (Or is it TSR Inc. now?). Actually, if you want to really be technical, its Wizards of the Coast. They bought TSR out about a decade ago. smile I can't pick a favorite author, I like too many. Jacqueline Carey, Tamora Pierce, Laurie J. Marks, Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman and R. A. Salvatore are a few of my favorites. Also, most of what Luna Books publishes is good, if you don't mind a lot of estrogren.

Melanie Rawn author of Dragon Prince. Her writing is so imaginative, and easy to picture that it's just beautiful!

My favourite authors are Oscar Wilde, Leslea Newman, Neil Gaimon and Sarah Wters, so a nice mix- one lesbian author, one gay, one fantasy, two romance, one American, I have the whole range covered!
