"Cracks knuckles" First off when you say Cloud vs. Sephiroth are you actually refering to the real Cloud and Sephiroth or there clones.
Real Sephiroth vs. Real Cloud
Conclusion. The real cloud won but was seriously injured in the battle.
Clone Sephiroth vs. Clone Cloud
Conclusion. Sephiroth had the edge in that battle
Now time for Vincent vs. Barret
Barret fired alot of shots at the chopper as it flew overhead and couldn't hit it. To the best of my knowledge I never actually saw Vincent fire any shots.
Conclusion. Inconclusive

The Pros and Cons for both of both.
Pros
1.Cloud- high ranked in SOLDIER. Has a remarkable teacher. Strong. Lead an elite group to save the world. Has cool hair.
2.Sephiroth- Cetra. Has incridible speed and agility. Destroyed cities. Has cool coat.
3.Barret- Weapon attached to body. No reload. Strong. Fires lots of rounds. (Not sure on that one hope to be corrected.) Curses like a sailor.
4.Vincent- Trained whole life as a marksmen. Fast and agile. Fires few rounds with great accuracy. Has cool gauntlet.
Cons
1.Cloud- Moody. Gets injuried alot. Rides his bike with out a helmet.
2.Sephiroth- Egomanical. Mommas boy.
3.Barret- Easily angered. Fires lots of rounds.
4. Vincent- Depressed. Fires few rounds.

FYI this is really just more to poke fun at them not a serious Pros and Cons post. I hope someone will both support and disprove all of my statements.
This arguement of who is better in terms of skill has plagued me and my friends for ages.

Cloud and Sephiroth are pretty much evenly matched but Cloud can use a multitude of different swords and still use them with a great amount of skill but Sephiroth only uses one but all in all Cloud is a better swordsman because one Sephiroth is too cocky and got his dumb a** killed three times (four with the movie out) and speaking of the movie look at cloud then he uses again more than one sword and he uses two at once. Vincent is the better marksman because one he doesn't fan his gun wildly shooting with a bullet hose like barret and he can actually hit something, plus look at him in the movie he is always hitting the Bahamut look alike everytime while barret is using his crappy gun arm that doesnt work half the time and all he's really doing is pointing his gun in bahamut's general direction.

sephiroth, even though i like cloud more. sephiroth has better sword play and style. cloud just swings his sword like a drunk when he uses omni slash

In the game Sephiroth is the better swordsman. In the movie Cloud is better.
And between Vincent and Barret, come on! Vincet is an ex-Turk! The man was a marksman for a living! He got paid to shoot people! How much more fun could you have for a job? twisted

Sephiroth is a better swordsman than Cloud due to the fact that Cloud couldn't even kill him at POINT BLANK RANGE!!! And Vincent is the best marksman than Barret because he go for accuracy and not shooting and hopes that he hits something. I rule! sweatdrop

scream ... SHINE!!!! Shine, I)ark-clouI) no baka!!! I hate you alllllll! Sephiroth is the most awesome sword fighter evar (yes, that is purposefully spelled that way) ... the only reason he lost in advent children was because it wasn't the "real" Sephiroth, and he lost in the game because he was posessed by Jenova ... if he were completely 100% normal, he would soooo kick Cloud's a**. Not that I don't love Cloud in the face ... but Sephiroth is such a better fighter. Point made ... *bows*

Sakis1 Cloud Strife is better, since he learned all of his skills from Zack and all and then it would be Vincent Valentine since he has all that time to train on his marksman skills Exactly what I was going to say.
