I'm not really sure that there is such a distinction between love and love. I would easily take a bullet for any of my friends, even if I were p.o.ed at them. It's not so much about what you would do for them, as it is how deep your feelings are. So it's not really levels, just one really steep hill. Which is why it's so easy to "fall" for someone.

I tell my friends I love them all the time. Because I really do. They know the difference. I hug them and I shall kiss thier cheek. Maybe even a peck on the lips sometimes. England is very different. Everyone does it. Apart from the macho males, but they even hug. It's that time in my life though you know? I'm 16. Everyone is like it. It's nice though. But it's a feeling of caring, family and friends. It's always there. Romance love though. That's where you constantly miss the person and have an aruge to be with them no matter what. Your heart skips a beat faster when they walk into the room. They are constantly on your mind. That's what I think love is.
i think we have a good definition of what loving someone means
now being IN love with someone is another story. for me being in love (which i have been with my gf proudly since 3-25-05) is:
your heart skipping a beat every time they come near smiling when you think of the little things that they do missing them even when they are just across the school campus in class like they should be wanting to spend every last second with them getting flustered when somebody says their name wanting to spend the rest of your life with them being willing to live, fight, and die (depending on how serious) for that person

loving someone can be a family member or close friend, in love is like love so strong you'd marry or spend the rest of ur life with
i agree i dont agree with the fact that when your in love your heart beats faster and you long for them or anything like that, i believe its about commitment and willing to be selflessfor the other person's best interests. the formentioned is a young teen's perspective of what being in love is supposed to be, but thats just infatuation
