I'll have to sit out on this one anyhow since I can't really put anything on this comp because it isn't mine. sweatdrop Should be getting my own soon though and with MTG online along with it. 3nodding

Spring break is coming up soon and I was thinking about hosting the tournament finally during the course of the week. So, hopefully we'll have a decision on how things are going to go down by then.

Apprentice doesn't work on my computer for whatever reason, but let me know if you ever have a Magic Workstation tournament.

Prismatic is a format where your deck must be at least 250 cards and you must have at least 20 of each color. It only goes back as far as Invasion.

5-Color is far superior to Prismatic (except on MTGO, of course). It's 250 cards as well, but 18 of each color, and the ban list is prepared for all the type I sets to be legal. Oh, and it's played with ante, meaning that you can play four copies of Contract from Below, (look it up!) which is the most powerful card ever printed bar none and yet can be bought in stores for around $2 each.

@Reisen - I had the same problem on my comp with apprentice not working but it was due to my firewall settings. Also, apprentice tends not to work at all if you're using Mac. Prismatic sounds kind of interesting, i'm surprised I've never heard of it before though. sweatdrop

I'm thinking about giving the runner-up a sealed/april letter, and the winner a January 05' letter. I'm thinking about starting matches up tommorrow sometime hopefully if I don't happen to be needed, and I'm going with extended. I need to know what I should ban or limit because like always, I can't make up my mind. How about any fee, or should I do a free tournament this time? Limit the number of participants? When things are decided, I'll set up the roster of wins/losses and whom shall be facing one another in the tournament details sticky. 3nodding

if you're gonna do the free thing, i'd just announce who the winner is. i wouldnt give a prize to anyone but 1st place. But it's not me throwing the tournament. i think you need to start figuring out who's gonna enter so someone can draw up a bracket.
