Wow that is soooo awesome. When I went to see it on Broadway there was a little gift shop near there that had a music box with the monkey on top, but I don't know if it was the same one...

That's really cool! I own the one with Christine and Erik on the boat to his lair. It plays "Music of the Night". The name of the model is "Journey to Phantom Lair" It's made by the name company as the one you got.

XD Woo awesome! My birthday present from my mom was my Prom dress xd
One thing I dislike about the music boxes, is they all play Music of the Night! LIke, I love that song... but I'd like to see one that plays POTO or PONR!
Happy belated!

I currently have two of them...
One is both of them in the boat and the other is Christine in the wedding dress with the Phantom and it kind of looks like a wedding picture.
gonk You're right. They need to play other songs...

Yeah, MotN can get kinda old. I used to like it...but it's so damn overplayed. Blehh.
Dude, my mom got me the French special edition PotP DVD. It's like...the only version that has features and cool s**t on it. I seriously thought for the longest time I would never have a way to procure it.
Then I heard from some fellow PotP freaks about xploitedcinema.com or whatever. With imports and the like. And I was determined to get my hands on the little bugger.
It just arrived yesterday...exactly on my birthday. I was psyched. I watched it this afternoon. And I adore the thing.
It's got such nifty menus and an awesome case and...two discs! *Gasp*
It's the most awesome, beautiful thing I ever laid my hands on (okay, there's the version of the script that I have...and other stuff...but it's very close). crying
And so hot too.
I'm in love with the thing. I seriously am.

(spork~god) So it's my birthday, and a few days earlier a package comes in the mail. My mom says its my bday present, but its not anything phantom related. I say "are you sure?" and she says "sweetie i would never lie about that." so i open my present and guess what it is? its a POTO MUSIC BOX!!! its got christine going through the mirror with erik on the other side. the cool thing is when my mom was describing it to me as i opened it, she actually called him erik (which she never does). so yeah, im happy ^_^ My Mother got me my first Phantom music box this last year for Christmas. It's Erik donning his Black Tuxedo, half white mask and ring, and the mannequin of Christine in the wedding gown, I believe. It's beautiful, I love it heart I'm getting Erik and Christine on the gondala next smile
