fa'e easter party

Zinthose got bord following the mother and instead started to look around the fields. Her mother was some what releved that zinthose would not bother the mother, but also wished for the child to meet more people. Zinthose started to pick some flowers as lulu watched her and started to pick some of her own as well.

Kimie wandered into the field, admiring the bright colors, and allowing herself to be taken in by the festive air. Looking around, she spotted the familiar form of a friend. "Oy! Lulu!" she called, cupping her hands around her mouth.

lulu heard the voice and turned around. the girl jump about and foot then ran to her friend. "kimie!" she hugged her, almost running her over actualy. "its been to long kimie" she said with a smiled. she looked so happy to her old friend. then a tug was felt on her shirt.

"lulu?" Zinthose had never meet the red haired girl, and was a little scaird by Lulus reaction to her.

lulu instantaniusly put the child in front on her and smiled "this is Zinthose. Alot has happend since the last tme we saw eachother" she messed up the girls hair and picked her up in her arms, she was tiny and light weight "say hello to Kimie Zinthose"

Zinthose blinked and flutered her wings, then slowly extened a hand and said in a very soft voice "hello".

"Gah!" Kimie stepped backwards to avoid being bowled over by Lulu's enthusiastic greeting. "It's great to see you, Lulu. And it has been too long, since you seem to have a child!" She looked at her wrist-- as if that could possibly tell her how long ago she'd last seen Lulu. Kimie promptly held out a hand to Zinthose. "Hello there," she replied reassuringly. "I'm Kimie, an old friend of your mom's." She nodded, smiling at the little girl. "You have a lovely name, Zinthose."

after shaking hands with the strange lady who lulu odviously likes, she clung to her mothers neak. well lulu wasnt really her mother not by blood. Lulu blinked as a pile of hair was thrust into her fase, oh dear. she leaned down and pryed Zinthoses hands off of her neak, putting te girl down in the proccess, and then stood back up. "yes, well Zinthose isnt my blood actualy, so its not like i was pregnant or anything, but thank you, we have fun togeather." lulu patted the girls head who was now back to picking flowers. "please, tell me what you have been up to though" she waved a hand a the tent with the snakes "lets get a drink as well, ok?" she stared walking in the direction of the tent, eger to hear from an old friend.

Kimie grinned impishly. "I thought not; you're not all grey and purple!" She winked at Zinthose, who was thoroughly occupied with the wildflowers. "A drink sounds good." She linked her arm with Lulu's and trotted off towards the tent.

lulu laughed "no, no i am not" and winked "but purple is my favorite color" she was so happy to have an old friend. New friends were great to have, but she felt so much more relaxed now that kimie was here "i have meet many new people, and so has zinthose." she tugged at kimies arm as they entered the tent "yo must tel me what you have been up to though.

What had she been up to? Hoo-boy. "Well, I'm working for Faekats again. I've been dealing with school, doing some writing. It keeps me busy enough."
Kimie smiled and glanced around at the other occupants of the tent, suddenly a bit shiy.

Lulu nods and smiles "thats wonderful kimie! i know that you loved th work at the fatkats place" she saw her friend get nervious and squezed the others hand "i know how you feel kimie. when i first entered the HQ i was all nerves. But they are really very nice" she said with a smiled and a nod. She directed her friend the the drinks and started to poor them both some punch. when she was done she handed the glass to her friend "here you go"

Kimie took a greatful sip. "Ah, thanks. I actually recognize a couple people from Faekats." She nodded in the general direction of Kimiko. "I remember when Faye became kid."

Lulu smiled and nodded "that is wonderful" she felt a tug at her shirt and turned around. It was zinthose with a crown for flowers on her head and two in her hand "for you and lady" said zinthose.

Lulu put her drink down and putting down her drink patted the tiny child on the head and smiled "her name is Kimie dear. here put the one you mad for me on my head and then i will pick you up and you can put kimies on her head, ok?"

the little girl nodded and put the crown of flowers on her head. then raised her arms to be picked up. Lulu picked the child up with ease and turned again to kimie.

"look kimie. see what Zinthose made? she made one for you as well, bend down a little so she can put it on your head?" Zinthose already had her arms out with the crown, ready to be placed on the others head.

Kimie grinned. "Oh, thank you, Zinthose, it's lovely." She ducked her head. "Mind the wings, dear." After the little girl put the crown on her head, she arranged it carefully. "I used to make these with friends of mine. One day I wore a clover crown in to class, and my teacher asked me if I were Queen of the Weeds."

Zinthose giggled and claped until the lady started to ramble and she got ... bord. School? what was that? She sqirmed until Lulu let her back down and made a bline to the snack table "dont eat to much Zinthose! there will.." thats about all Zinthose heard. what lulu finshed saying was "be BBQ later tonight" lulu was certain that the child hadnt heard her thoigh. "shes a hand full at time" she said with a smile to kimie. "oh, how is faekats doing by the way?"

"We're probably boring her, two old ladies talking about silly things." Kimie grinned-- she and Lulu could hardly be considered 'old ladies.' She took another sip of her punch. "I really love working at the Agency. Faekats are the main reason why I stayed in Gaia."

Lulu nodded "she get bord if you say more then one sentance to her" she giggled "thats wonderful. I stay becuse i just love this comunity. I did have some time off, but that was for other reasons" her eyes went a bit dark but the girl shook it off "anyhow. I love helping out places like this, you know? the people are so nice, and they give you a chance to help out, not just block you out of there little world"

zinthose zoomed by, but stopped long enought to drop off a plate with two slices of chesse cake on it as she munched on a cookie, ready to go look for eggs and more flowers.

Lulu smiled and light up "YUM!!! look kimie!! its chesse cake. thank you.." by that time the girl was gone. lulu sweatdroped and got the extra plate that she noticed was under the main one and pushed the extra slice onto it with the extra fork. "she really is a sweat heart" smiled Lulu as she handed the plate, slice and fork to Kimie.

"Ooh, thank you, Zinthose!" she called, as the little Fury dashed away. Kimie dug into the slice of cheesecake happily. "She's a smart one; cheesecake is one of my favorites!"
At the word "cheesecake," a delicate green and gold winged kitty sidled up next to Kimie. Share, she demanded.

lulu nodded as she started to eat her slice "it is my favorite as well" she was so happy that she almost didnt notice that cuute kitty until it had talked "awww, hellp there" she looked to kimie "is this one yours?" and tilted her head at kimie a litte as she took a nother bit.

Hello, said Nanda, solemnly. I believe you have it backwards. Kimie is my pet. She sat at Kimie's feet, her hooves together primly. Now. Share.

Kimie suppressed a giggle. "Lulu, Nanda. Nanda, Lulu." She leaned over and gave the Plushikat a scritch behind the ears.

Nanda purred and bumped Lulu's shin in greeting. Cheesecake, she insisted again.

lulu sweatdroped "umm, i dont have but my slice" and there is no way i am sharing, she though. "hold on" lulu went to the table she had seen Zinthose stop at and got another slice, then headed back. when she got there she placed the new slice in front of the kat "sorry about that nada" she looked to kimie "umm, so what were we talknig about?" she had completly lost her train of thought.

green child

Arkie gnawed on the end of the leaf, but...what was this? It didn't taste particularly good...it was sour both outside and in and made him wrinkle his nose in distaste. Could it be that even the black hole known as Arkanti had finally found something he couldn't stomach?

With a snort, he tossed the leaf aside and crawled forward again as Karma remained where she was sitting. She would follow him if he started to get out of her sight, but for now, she didn't think there was much here that could hurt him. She was loathe to leave him in the toddler tent as there was currently no one else there and she didn't want him to feel isolated.

Zinthose had left the eggy she had found for lethe with the baby and saw a green baby with a mother typ person. she decided to say hello. she walked over and smiled, sitting a few feet from the baby. "hello" she said with a smile. she looked at the lady near by "what is his name ma'am?"

Karma looked up as the stranger approached...she seemed friendly enough, so Karma returned the smile. "Hi there." she greeted, looking quickly back to Arkie to ensure he'd not crawled off in the few seconds her eyes had been off of him. "His name is Arkanti. You can call him Arkie, though...he seems to answer to it better."

Arkie's ear twitched at the sound of the new voice and he turned, blinking fawnishly at the newcomer. And then, like the world's smallest green bull charging, he crawled through the grass toward her with a squeal.

"Careful." Karma chuckled. "He likes to drool on people, I've found..."

Zinthose smiled back and fluterd her wings "Arkie then" she saw a green thing racing at her and went big eyed "wow, he is fast" she sat crose legged so the baby could crawl onto her lap if he wished to. He seems to be nice enough." she looked back to the lady "Thats ok." she was ready to be atacked by the boy.

And Arkie did, indeed, crawl into her lap and immediately began to look for things he could grab onto, pull, or gnaw on. Karma kept a wary eye on him. SHE was used to being slimed and yanked on, but she didn't know if Zinthose was. Well, she HAD warned her.

"Did you just get here?" she asked, making conversation with the other girl as Arkie reached for Zinthose's hair. "Arkie...." she said warningly, as thought that would help. It didn't matter anyway...he couldn't quite reach it.

zinthose unhooked the crose that was on her hip and handed it to the baby to play with, she smiled at him "no, me and lulu have been her since the party started. We are new to visiting the Fa'e people though, so thats proibly why we have never meet before." She smiled up at the lady "i am a fury" she knew that much about herself, nothing past that though. "Have you two found many eggs?" she tickled the babies tummy as she looked back down at him.

Karma shook her head and shrugged. "No, I can't say we've really been looking very hard." she said. "As soon as we got here, it kind of got really crowded and Arkie decided to go off and do his own thing chasing grasshoppers."

Arkie's response to this was to blow a raspberry at his guardian. No particular reason, it just seemed like a good time to do it. And then turned his attention to the object being suspended over him as he gave a coo and reached for it. Once it was in his grasp, it, like many before it, went into his mouth.

"If it makes you feel any better, I'm new around here too. I've only had Arkie for about twelve days or so"

Zinthose smiled "i think lulu would be more happy to hear that then me." she had still been looking at the baby, but now looked at the lady. "lulu is the one that takes care of me. She gets really nervis when we came to these things." back to the baby and his oral fixsation. "hehe, he seems to like my crose, dont you little guy?" it was still atached to her skirt my a chain, but he would have to crawl away a few feet before it started to tug at her. "do you want to find some eggs? i havnt found one yet, can you help me?" she looked up to the lady. "is that ok with you?"

Karma nodded with a smile. "Sure! I'd be happy to help!" she told Zinthose. It would give her a chance to explore the area a little better, and as long as they were moving, Arkie seemed less likely to get restless. Scanning the nearby area, she looked at the sparse gathering of woods nearby. It was hard actually CALLING them woods as they were perhaps only fifty yards deep, but....

"Want to try those trees over there?" she asked. "And don't worry, I know how you feel...things like this are always intimidating. I actually almost didn't go..."

Arkie looked from Karma to Zinthose, drool slipping down his chin as he gnawed his prized-possession-of-the-minute happily. He noted his 'mom' was shifting her position a bit. Were they leaving? He didn't want to go! And he made sure they knew so by giving a loud squeak of protest.

"Somehow I don't think you'd say no to having more eggs to slobber on, Arkie." Karma chided him gently with a smirk.

Zinthose unhooked the chain so he could have it for a time. "i will get it back once we find a prity new egg for him to put in his mouth." she tickled his tummy "take good care of my crose little one" she held him in her arms as she got up and then put him on the ground so he could crawl, but then thought about that "can he crawl? or would you like to hold him as we walk in the woods?" she was confused as to what babies could and coudlnt do because she wa born a child, a rather smart one actauly.

"I'd better carry him." Karma said, bending over to pick Arkie up. "If I let him crawl, he'll put everything and its grandmother into his mouth and i don't really want to explain to his pediatrician why he's got a bellyful of pine cones on his next checkup." she accompanied the statement with a laugh, but she was only half-joking.

Arkie protested at first, but then resigned himself to his fate as he was collected. Oh well, at least she didn't try to take away the cross. Because it was his now...at least until he inevitably lost interest in it in a few minutes, no doubt. And true to form, seeing a particularly tasty-looking branch dangling just within his reach, Arkie dropped Zinthose's cross in favor of grabbing for it. Sighing, the foxcoon doubled over to retrieve it from the grass.

As Karma bent down, she was no longer obstructing Zinthose's view of the tree behind her. In a small unimportant-looking hollow near its base, nestled in with several curled and dried leaves, something purple winked and glimmered in the coming evening.

Lucien

Rayne plopped down on the blanket and then flopped over onto her side. Lucien gave a giggling sound and clicked his claw thinking that it was all a show for him. He was rather impressed with her playacting. She rolled over onto her back looking over at him and stuck her tongue out. He may think its amusing but she was rather exhausted herself. Lots of cleaning up in the workshop. Yay! It was almost a bedroom. Rearranging of boxes into closests and such, the finding of that gift box from Aylee. Then half dozen other little chores ending with her and Lucien sneaking off to get some fresh air. Jing wouldn't mind being in charge for a while after all. He could set everyone to work again.

Lucien's tail flicked back and forth then he reached up to catch hold of Rayne's shirt with his hand and closed his claw on it as well and pulled. There was a moment when she thought that her shirt would tear before he accomplished what he was up to. Then he was up and laying over her belly using her to get a higher vantage point and he started to look around, scanning the area for fun things to see.

Zinthose was running around on the grass with a light pink sundress on. Ever since she wore it during Easter, It was her favorite thing to wear. She was holding onto a big brimmed straw hat the girl had a rare bright smile on. Lulu was walking behind Zin in her regular red shirt and black skirt. She was smiling at the girl's joy. Zinthose saw the baby on top of a ladies tummy and ran over to tem, flopping down next to them and smiling "hello" she said with a little wave as se let go of the sides of her big hat. She was more talking to the baby then the mother. "My name is Zinthose, what's yours?"

lulu walked over and smiled at Zin, and then the two others "hello, I am Lulu, nice to meet you both" and sat down a few feel from the three to watch, more wanting the child to interact then herself.

Lucien lifted his red eyed gaze to the colorful child and gave a hiss and then a grin, "This is Lucien." Rayne said as she pushed up so that she was on her elbows. She looked up at Lulu and smiled, "My name is Rayne the little one is Lucien." She introduced to the lady and wrapped an arm around Lucien and pulled him so that he was sitting on her lap so he could see Zinthose more easily.

It was only a moment before he was reaching for her hat trying to get hold of it.

Lulu nodded and smiled "Zin, let the little boy see your hat hun" Zin looked at lulu "but he might hurt my new hat Lulu" she pointed at his claw, then looked at the mother "will he hurt my new hat with his claw?" she was very protective of it, well, at lest until she got something else that was new. "he can se it if you think it will be safe" she tickled him under his chin with one finger "I wish I had a little brother or sister to help take care of and play with" lulu rolled her eyes but just smiled "maybe little one" she said with a giggle before lying down on the nice grace "maybe."

"Will you be careful with it Lucien?" She asked of the boy. He looked up at his mother then gave a little hiss as if trying to convince the girl to hand him the hand. He wanted to see it! It was big and looked like it would keep the sun off of him. He clicked at the girl and squealed, "I think thats a yes." Rayne said with a laugh.

Zin tried to imitated his claw with her hand and smiled "ok" and took her hat off then placed it on the boys head "how is that?" she held or the ribbons the that hung on each side on the hat to tie it down, she never used then because she didn't like to have something tied to her head, but she thought that the buy might like to see them "see, this helps keep it on!" she giggled and looked at him dramatically "you are very stunning in my hat, I must say" she smiled very big.

He smiled happily as the hat sheilded him from the sun. Then he was looking at the ribbons that he was being showed. He reached his hand up to catch hold of one of them giving it a little tug. He looked up at her as she gave him the compliment and he gave a happy hissing sound. Rayne couldn't hold back her giggles as she tried to imagine what he looked like in the over sized hat.

Zin smiled and picked the boy up and placed him on her lap. "looks at me mommy!" she said smiling and lightly lifting his tiny hand and claw while gently bouncing him on her lap by sort of 'flapping' her crossed legs. Lulu was watching and then got up quickly with Zin but the baby on her own lap "Zin! Always ask before you hold any ones child!" se sight and looked at the mother "is that ok with you?"

Rayne took in the look on Lucien's face, one that was full of delight at getting to 'bounce and she nodded, "It's alright with me. And more importantly its ok with Lucien." She said with a smile, "Don't worry he's a good boy like... 99% of the time." She told Lulu.

Zin turned a little and smiled at her mom "see Mom? it ok!" she lifted the little boy over her head and smiled at him as she lowered him slowly and gave him and Eskimo kiss "isn't that right little one? We are having so much fun! Isn't that right?" she gave him a raspberry on his tiny tummy before putting him back on her lap.

Lulu was speechless, when had Zin gotten so good with kids? When was she so strong? Well she was a magical girl, so it's not like it was impossible for her to hold the child above her head, but dear. She relaxed now "that's good to know, thank you for everything" she nodded.

Lucien was squealing happily his little arms flailing at the kiss and the raspberry. He giggled and leaned back against the girl the hat falling forward some to hide everything from his view. He gave a squeak and froze in place as everything went dark and everyone around him couldn't be seen. Then he let out a little frightened shreik.

Rayne's ears flicked never having heard that sound from the Fa'e before. He reached her hand forward to catch hold of the hat and lifted it up off him, "You ok Lucien?" He blinked a couple times as the light got in his eyes then relaxed all over as he was released from the darkness. He gave a little hiss.

Zin patted the hat in the little guy "yeah, I don't like the darkness ether Lu" she giggled "you have the same nick name as mom, except you say Lu once for your name, and twice for moms name" Zin was so happy, the darkness was not going to come today, not while the small child was with her "what dose Lu like to do most Ray? Maybe we can do that before he needs a nap?"

Lulu smiled at the pair. So neither of them liked the dark hu? Hopefully this child didn't have the problem of the darkness in his mind. It really hurt lulu that Zin had that problem, but for now Zin was safe and happy. "Yes, what is the little mans favorite thing? We might have to get him a present for being such a good friend."

"At the moment his favorite thing to do is have people hold his hands and help him to walk around." Rayne said, "He can't do it on his own yet cause hes to small." She told them watching Lucien closely. Whatever had bothered him had passed now that the hat was off.

Zin smiled and placed the boy in front of her "do you want to try and stand up then? Do some walking little one?" she tickled his tummy while waiting for an answer "do you?"

Lucien gazed up at her then started to give little hissing giggles before nodding his head, yes! Walking! He wanted to walk! Even if it wasn't doing it on his own he would be able to get the feel for it and thus it would help when he got to learn it later.

zin nodded and leaned forward, picking him up and placing him on his feet, shile hodling both hos hand and claw in her own hands "now then, try and take a few steps forward little one, i an here for you" lulu was a little tense and got up to watch and make sure ZIn and lu were ok during the whole expericance.

Lucien started forward, one step at a time, a smile gracing his lips as he moved. Each step he took was a little wobbly and unsure but soon enough as when he was playing this game with Sasarai he started to get the hang of it. Rayne smiled, her tail wagging as he started to try to hurry them forward, wanting to run around as he saw everyone else around him doing. It should be more easy then it was, the others, they all made it seem like there was nothing to the whole walking thing.

Zin giggled and was going to clap for him before she remembered that she was the one holding him up "very good lu" she said. It seenmed that the child was safe in zins arms so lulu calmed down "he is so very cute" lulu said with a nod. zin smiled and nodded at lulu as she contined to help steady the baby "your right lulu" then looked to ray "you are very lucky to have such a nice baby"

Rayne nodded, "Yes. Very lucky." She said here ears flicking back and forth then looked at Lucien. He was from the looks of it having plenty of fun leading Zin around on their walking trip, "And he is a perfect sweetheart as long as he doesn't have to get dressed in the mornings.Isn't that right Lucien?" There was a laughing hiss as a reply, one that said 'yes' quite clearly.

Zin smiled and kept up with the boy, quite content helping him walk around and explore the park as muc has he likes. lulu looked at ray "i had no idea Zin was so good with kids. i mean i knew she liked to watch them and there moms, but latly she has been asking to play with the children, of tho she is just a child herself." lulu though of how Zin essily picked the baby over her head and giggled "even thouh she is stronge for her age" she smiled at Ray "thank you for letting hre play with Lu"

Rayne looked over at Lulu and smiled, "It's not a problem. I'm glad that he is making so many friends. I'm glad that she is playing with him despite his scary features." The woman said happily, "I know that there could be some out there to afraid of his scorpion-ness to want to play with him or even approch him." Luckily though they had yet to run across anyone like that.

Zin looked at the lady, then at the baby. "thats ok, i have bat wings" she flape them "and i can get prity dark sometimes, so i know what it is like when people do not want to talk to you because of your looks" lulu smiled at her child "we have had problmes with her being ignore in the past, so we are very greatful when Zin has the opertunity to play"

Rayne nodded looking at Lucien, "Then you guys can play together any time you like." She told Zin.

Zin smiled and yawned "it looks like he has worn me out, wht time is it Lulu?" she looked at her watch and jumped up "oh no! its time to go, i am terribly sorry, but we mut be going now" lulu bowed to them. Zin placed lu in his moms lap "here you ar eRay, we will definatly have to do this another time she bowed as well and they were off.

Rayne stretched from head to toe to the tip of her tail as she headed up the path to the HQ. She was a bit sleepy but Lucien decided that he was up and wanted to stay up. So she came here. Maybe they would find someone? He could get distracted and play himself into exhaustion? Maybe? Hopefully?

She gave a little sigh as his super happy hiss that he gave. It didn't sound like he was gonna want to sleep anytime soon did it?

Zin's ears percked and she turned around "lu!!" she was also not sleepy at all "oh lu! its you! i was going to sit and draw you a pick!" actualy she hadnt stared yet, but it really didny matter at that point, she wated to play "she walked ovet to the lady wiggled her finger at Lu "sorry i dont have my hat today, just my drab regular cloths" she smiled at Ray "can we play?" and held out her hands to hold him.

Lucien gave a happy hiss seeing his colorful friend from the park and held his arms out to the girl and gave a squeal. Rayne let out a little laugh allowing him to go to her, "Yes. That would be great." She said happily. The more she played the more that she would get a rest. She plopped down on a bean bag and watched the two, "Have fun. And Lucien. You behave alright?"

She got a hissing reply.

Zin smiled and nodded at Ray "of corse we will have fun" and sat him on a bean bag "actually i do have somthing you can look at lu" she unhooked the crose from her hip and undid the chain as well, incase he wanted to pull on it "this i have had for a long time, but you can play with it" she help it out to him "see how shiny it is?" and smiled.

Lucien watched the shiny that was swinging in front of him and he tilted his head reaching his little hands out for it. He gave a soft, 'Oooo' sound and then a squeal as he tried to catch hold of it. It was like the necklace that he got but wasn't allowed to have yet.

Zin let him hold the crose "you like it Lu?" she smiled "i figure that since i can have it when i am little, you can hold on to it as well" she smiled and patted his head "thats a good boy" and then imitated his claw "you are quite cool"

Lucien looked the cross over curiously turning it in his hand carefully then looked up at the girl and gave a bit of a smile as he shook the pendant. It was nice! And he was allowed to hold it. He turned to look at Rayne and held it up as if to show it to her.

The foxfaire gave him a smile and a nod, "Good job. Be gentle though." She told him. He nodded and looked back to Zin and gave a little hissy sound.

Zin smiled and patted his head again "you are a good boy" and then tickled his tummy "its late for you tho isnt its? arnt you a little sleepy tiny one?" she looked over to were she had left the sleeping devi and poninted at him "he feel asleep, why havnt you?" and tickled his tummy again "hmmm?"

Lucien looked up from the cross over to the one that Zin was referring too, someone was asleep? He tilted his head seeing Devmani laying there curled up and the scorpion boy gave an unpleasent hissing sound and his tail started to twitch back and forth in a manner that could be seen as a little agressive. Him again? He was hoping to avoid that one. He got all edgy around him.

she frowned and picked him up, lifting him above her head "dont be a silly boy" and gave him a rasberry on his tunny "dont be so silly" and smiled as she put him on her knee and started to bounce him lightly on her knee "hes asleep, not awake like you and me, now we play and be happy!"

The centaur was forgotten as Zin bounced him and talked to him. She was right. The boy was asleep so that meant that he didn't have to worry over him. He gave a little happy sound and started to flail his arms, flapping his arms as Zin had showed him last time they played.

Zin placed him back on the bean chair infront on her and clapped "YaY, thats much better now!" and smiled, tappping his nose "smiles are much better then worries" she did however wondered why she didnt like the blue.. horse, typ.. thing? oh well, again, there shouldnt be worried with he eather "do you want to try walking again?" she did a walking typ thing with her fingers.

His responce was holding his hands up to him and squealed and nodded. Yes! Walking. It was fun! He clicked his claw at her excitedly. A definately 'Let's walk' from the scorpion Fa'e.

Rayne couldn't help but laugh as she watched him. He was soo cute. And so studious when it came to trying to learn the walking thing. She still thought that he should master crawling first but he was having problems with it and seemed to be wanting to skip over it.

Zin smiled and held little lu's hands and started to lift him up "all right, now is time for walking" she stood up so she could walk along with him.

Lucien started to happily drag the other around trying to run with Zin. It was funner this way when he got to move quickly! He was doing his best to keep from triping over his own feet as he moved. Easier said then done when he wasn't that accomplished a walker as of yet.

"Slow it down Lucien! Your gonna drag both the two of you down." Rayne warned.

zin yawned "i think i will be going to seep now" she lifted the boy up and "flew" him to his mother. "thank you for playin with me" she yaned again "i am really sleepy riht now" and she got about as far as a beenbag before falling on it ad falling asleep with another yawn.

Rayne nodded, "As long as your careful." She said then laughed, "Ah. Sorry. I'm sure that you have held her a million times. I'm just used to saying that for when people wanted to hold Lucien or Yukito when they were babies." She laughed. Holding Rini made her realize how big her boys were getting.

Lucien shifted closer wanting to see the baby, "Cute ears." He told the baby.

Rini smiled and gurgled at her sis, but kept on eye on the other. she was so happy once Zin sat next to the boy. her ears moved, and though you could not see it, she did her tail.

Zin could feel her sisters tail move "its ok Ray" she smiled at her sisters reaction to Lu and looked at him "why dosnt you click your claw for her? i always thought that was realy cool" she said with a nod.

Rini looked from her sister the the boy and wavied her arms at him some more.

Lucien nodded and lifted his claw to where the little one could see it and clicked it together a couple times, lightly at first then a little harder as it made different sounds depending on how hard it was clicked or how quickly. Sort of like very off beat music.

He laughed a little bit, this was fun. Playing with a baby!

Rini smiled and tryed to put the claw in her mouth. she liked the sounds that lit made. it was like the wind chines that hung in her room. when mommy touched them they made prity sounds. this was differint, but she

Zin shook her head and put the pendant that rini has droped into her mouth instead "that is his hand silly, not a shiny" Zin giggled and tickled her silly sisters tummy before looking at Lu "i remeber when you were this small Lu" and smiled.

Rini just settled after her tickle and gummer her shiny as she watched the boy.

Lucien gave a bit of a laugh when the bunny girl tried to chew on his claw. He doubted that it would taste at all good but he wouldn't stop her if she wanted too. Luckily for him though Zin got her something else to gnaw on instead.

"Lucien does too." He said. He was glad that he was no longer so smaller. truthfully would rather be bigger.

Zin tappend him on his nose "and some day you wil be bigger then me!" ans smiled and looked down at Rini "tho, Rini will get bigger then me two someday, my kind dont really grow very fast" she rocked the child in her arms "no fast at all" she smiled at Lu "would you like to try and hold her?"

Rini gummed the pendant and smiled at her sister. she didnt know what was being said, but she watched each mouth as it was moving. she would get to speaking at some point, for now she watched, listend, and twitched her ears from person to person.

Lucien looked up at Zin for a long moment then lifted his arms to wrap them around hers and hugged her arm. He didn't want to out grow all of his friends. As much as he would like to be grown the idea of growing again if Solo did not was something that worried him more then anything else. And now Zin seemed a little sad about the idea too.

He looked at Rini a little hesitant, he hadn't held anything before that wasn't a toy or a pet. He was a little worried.

Zin sighed and leaned her head on his for a sec before sencing the darkenss comeing, she had to shake it. "oh you must hold Rini now Lu! look how must she wants to be held!" he bouned the girl on her knee.

rinin blinked then started to giggled and flair. she liked this game, somehting good must be comeing! se reached twards the boy now, maybe he wantee to play?

Zin doged the darkenss with this little sene of her sisters, she was glad that Rini was of such help to her."see? i told you" she said looking at Lu "just hold your arms out like myn are"

Lucien waited a moment more then reached his hand out and carefully to the little bunny so that she was leaning agianst him and he wrapped his arm with the hand around her and moved his claw away from her, his tail as well, "Pretty baby." He said with a little laugh.

He then looked up at Zin for a long moment, "Zin ok?" He asked.

'oh gods, please dont ask' thought zin ans she closed her eyes "its just the way i am lu. she smiled and opend her eyes again "my heart" she pinted to it "it is broken, it has been that way sine Lulu found me. sometimes the darkenss comes and i get lost and, well, its just not fun" she smiled and petted rini's ears "rini helped me tho. joy helps to bring be back" she smiled a bit brighter "not everyone is born happy, sometimes, we need to work for it"

Rini giggles nad wiggles her tail and ears. this was great! but whats this? sis not happy? she smiled when zin petted her ears and nuzzled her sisters hand before looking up at the boy and babiling to him about how zin was a good sister.

Lu starred up at her for a long moment then nodded. Why was it that what she was saying sound a bit familar. He reaching his hand over to her and patted her arm, "Lucien is here for Zin." He murmured to her then smiled, "Zin is friend."

He didn't like to see her upset so he would do what he could for her if she needed him.

Zin smiled and huggled him and Rini "thank you my friend" and nuzzled him "that means alot to me" and smiled, let go and looked down at Rini "you nboth mean alot to me" she patted the little ones ears.

Rini wasnt really sure what was going on, but she cooed when her ears were petted and wiggled her tail.

Zin giggled "do you feel that little movment? that is her tail, she has a cute little puff ball bunny tail" nodded Zin.

"Rini has a tail?" He asked his eyes getting wide. Really? That was so cool. He looked at his own tail where its sharp and far from fluffy and puffy. He looked her over, "See tail?" He asked of Rini.

Rini blinked at the funny boy and gurgled happily. what was he saying? she relaly wished that she knew, he was definalty looking at her and moving his mouth like he was talking to her. she wiggled her tail some more.

Zin giggled "silly boy" she picked rini up and leaned her against her sholder. sure enough, from her dipper was a wiggly white puff of a tail. zin tounched it and rini giggled and moed her tail more "see? this is her tail, she likes to play the 'touc the tail' game" zin tounched Rini' tail again and another set of giggles came.

Lucien looked at the tail then giggled and reached a hand out to touch his tail, "Its such a cute little tail that she has." He told Zin and Rini both. He looked over towards Rayne who was watching them smiling, "Look Momma!" He called.

Rayne gave a little laugh, "Very cute." She said glad that it seemed is mood had lightened considerable, something that she was quite greatful for.

"Like yours." Lucien said looking at Rini again.

a box was placed in front of zin's door with a not on it



Zin smiled and opend the box




she then started to read the ice book.
