Nana/Mayu? whee Aww, thats cute. In the anime they become friends quickly though, dont they?
I always thought Yuka/Mayu (Dont hate me) Because, i mean, come on, Yuka is a whiny emo (Inside joke xD) but I think its because she wants to love someone. Thats why she would stand on Kohtas head (God I loved that. Poor, abused, Kohta *Shakes head*) And I doubt Mayu would trust men (The manga is so much deeper.) ... ever. So i just think, since Mayu needs someone, and Yuka has... too much love (??) they would be cute together.

Prepare to be blown away by my diversity here.
Kouta/Yuka, and I'll tell you why. Like any other avid Elfen Lied fan, I deteste Yuka to no end. Kouta strikes me as an idiotic character, who has no real personality and does what's expected of him to get the plot moving. I can't stand him. In my opinion, he and Yuka can go join hands and jump off a cliff and leave poor Lucy alone u__u Did you see how he acted all forgiving with Lucy at the end of the anime (I think he was less compassionate in the manga) when he had only known her for THREE DAYS EIGHT YEARS AGO when she thought it appropriate to slay half his family. Don't get me wrong, I love Lucy, but if she turned on me like that I would totally slap her in the face and then call it even. And get my head blown off. The fact that Kouta took it so well was proof of his (forgive me) uselessness, as he will only do what he can to keep the story moving forewards and another issue from arising.
On another note, I like Nana/Mayu :]

I disagree...I say Kouta and Nyu/Lucy... If I was Kouta (Despite the username ninja ) I probably would forgive her as well, I mean...Look at her, you can tell she's really sorry about it.  How can you not forgive her? Who can stay mad while staring at that face?! crying *Huggles Nyu/Lucy plushie*...

Uchiha Arukan Kouta and Nozomi FTW. Nothing beats that, they are adorable. Close second is definately Kouta/Lucy and then in third Nana/Mayu. I stand by what I've sait. Nozomi/Kouta beats all. I'm the real Dark Horse lol. I have the oddest fan pairing of them all. Rarer then Kouta/Yuka even!

I think Lucy and Kouta are the best set up becasue she has one of the best connections with Kouta, and no matter what Kouta did Lucy never wanted to hurt him, she always vanished when it came to something like that. And besides the fact that his cousin was in love with him [which do note is disgusting] the only other coupling for Kouta is Nyuu. Like come on look at that hug they had a the shrine, Nyuu really cares for Kouta and tried so hard to make him live happier.

Kouta and Yuka. I just don't think Lucy/Nyuu (especially Nyuu) is cut out to be in a relationship with him. Too many issues. :/
