I believe that being childhood friends makes for a good foundation for a good relationship. The thing is they have to acknowledge it to eachother and stop beating around the friggin' bush about it. Tifa could have Cloud in a heartbeat if she actually TOLD HIM domokun . It's interestin' to see the dynamic but ya gotta think that it would Tifa up the wall waiting for Cloud to get his head out of his a**. Tifa is there for him she cares. She was there first thing when (SPOILER ALERT) Cloud went into that coma thing. She wants to be there for him more than anything and is just waiting for the word.
THAT is Cloud's problem...

I think they look good together... but will it work out... GOSH CLOUD! STOP THINKING ABOUT AERIS AND LOOK AT TIFA WHO'S STILL ALIVE!

Jhay-R You can't look at love as 1+1=2. The two were childhood friends, and Tifa was there for Cloud when he needed help.The two have good chemistry together, and it could work if Tifa just finally confesses her love instead of just keeping it inside. I agree with you, but when you think about it, wouldn't that kind of complicate things at the moment? I mean, they wouldn't be able to look at each other the same way. It'd be kinda awkward. As much as I wish she would, I kind of wish she wouldn't. It's about 95% yes and 5% no.

I despise Aeris, Aerith however you wanna spell her damn name o_O; i don't like her character at all. She didn't do much for me in the game, she acts all innocent and weak and bleh...no offense to her fans of course o-o that's just how i see her.
Anyway! On to why i support Tifa and Cloud as a couple. Simple. They've known each other since their childhood, Tifa understands Cloud and i'm sure he knows that she'll always be there for him no matter what. Despite the slight references to Cloud/Aeris in the game, there were a few supporting Cloud/Tifa as well. No one can sit here and tell everyone that Cloud didn't at least like-like Tifa when they were children. The whole thing about joining SOLDIER was to impress her ( well maybe not the only reason but you know ) Those feelings couldn't have completely dried out. Maybe they changed a little but it's still there.
In conclusion i think if Tifa would have ever confessed her love for Cloud instead of keeping inside he would have chosen her...

My opinion wont be changed... even though that's all we really have here, are opinions! Cloud doesn't proclaim his love for either one of these girls so all we have to go on are different slight references from the game we noticed and were able to peice together. in my OPINION i think Cloud and Tifa would've made a great couple! I may hate Aeris but i'm not about to say that she couldn't have stood a chance with Cloud. Not at all.
I just like Cloud and Tifa more >_> so of course i'm going to give my support to their relation ship.

With this kind of subject, the arguments and opinions will just go on and on. I myself am a strong supporter of CloudxTifa and I think they will be perfect for each other. After all, they live with each other now and take care of two kids so why not? Case of Tifa perfectly states that they are a family and Cloud is quite happy. That is your perfect couple, end of story. 3nodding
