I think I moved over half of the party threads to the back of the games forum (you'll have to view by time to see them). I'll dig them up within a week and post links to them. I remember writing a really short story with something to do with Kool-aid and the world exploding or something. And Del said we could e-mail her about the mule (I still have two pink giftboxes in there) pirate

Alright here is something I have thought long and hard about and decided I would go through with it. I won't be able to make it to the party but I do want to leave more of a giveaway then a game if anyone will be willing to put it into action...
I will fund this one personally and what it is simply I will giftwrap around 22 items and they will range from 1k gold to around 10k each. Not sure how many people will attend but hopefully that will give enough for each person to have 1 present.
How you get a number is to do a random number from 1-22 and if that slot is open then that gift will be yours. When you think everyone who wants one has participated then the gifts will be given out. In any extra boxes remain after everyone has gotten on then they will stay hidden and never to be open 3nodding

We could have a research contest, wherein participants would have to go back through threads that have been created and collect data from poll results. One would use the information they gather to make an inference or support an observation about the guild and its members. If, for example, someone wanted to use "people in this guild have something against cats" as their thesis, they would have to do a short writeup explaining that thesis and citeing polls that evidence their point. Judgements could be on best thesis, best use of sources, and widest variety of sources.
I don't know how well it would work, but that's my two cents. I don't know, either, if this seems at all interesting to anyone other than me. I just finished a year of sociology courses, so perhaps my mind's been a bit warped.
It could be called "Poll Vaulting", because a vault is where you collect things, and this involves collecting poll data it's a bad pun that's relevant to "poll jumping" and "pole vaulting." That's, that's where the idea started in my head sweatdrop I admit it, and I feel shame.

I have an idea, but it wouldn't necessarily work. Unless the Party is like, a bunch of days. Eh. Well, my idea was that we should have a Mule Day, meaning we talk on the forum for that very day only, but with our Mules, yes, the idea does sound a bit odd. = But I myself have 2 Mules, so eh. T'was a good trty for an idea though, right? 3nodding xp

We should consider the addition of party favors. If nothing else, my sister and I can draw custom sketches and mail them to interested people. Unfortunately, due to the lack of a scanner, I cannot offer any examples of our work, but I think they are at least somewhat decent. Would anyone be interested in such a course of action?

Yep, party favours are good stuff. I bought a bunch of mini custom art last time, and I was glad I did. It was fun giving away too. Nice to get a little freebie unexpectantly
