okey-dokey. we have 6 people, including me. so i say we start now. anyone else that wants to join later, will join later. if ur making a statement by u, use these little things (( )). it will make it easier to know what u are saying and what your character is saying. now let us begin. oh, and by the way, thank you so much for participating in this rp. it is the first one that actually started. crying i love you guys!
naruto walked around town just wasting some time. "man, there is nothing to do around here. we have the day off and i'm so bored." apon nearing his favorite shop, he saw a flyer (sp?). it said, "there will be a festival held in on thursday. all games, drinks, and food will be served as well. robes are not required. that is up to you. entrance is free. hope to see you there." "wow! a festival! i'm so going there. i wonder if sasuke is going?"

"Ugh..." Gaara sighed as he silently sat at one of the many tea houses in Konoha. He wasn't having a good day and to top it off he was getting restless; he hated it when he got restless. Sipping his green tea slowly, he felt the sand in his gourd move slightly, the only sign of his lack of emotion. He looked up to see the group of ninja academy students sitting a few ways away from him staring at the mark depicting love on his forehead. With one glare he had got them to stop, but he knew they'd look again they always did.
More than enough people had looked at him in the apprhended(sp?) way today and he just wanted to be left alone. If he was ever alone then he could do something.... the problem was what? "You going to the Festival?" Gaara glanced up again at the academy students, mint eyes staring wonderingly.
"You bet! I heard there' going to be games, food, and lots of other stuff! Who's not going this Thursday!? Everyone in konoha's gonna be there!" another student answered. Gaara cocked his head... a festival? That actually sounded interesting... His hand twitched and sand fell into a pattern upon his table. Slowly running his finger through it he spelled festival and sighed. Why not? He'd come to the festival maybe he would meet someone he knew there. Getting up , he paid for his tea and walked out, the sand blowing behind him...

Kakashi ((whoot! kakashi! lol)) was, of course, in the book store buying the lastest of his favorite series, when the store clerk told him about the festavil(sp) "hhmmm, maybe i'll go" he said as he left the store.

while walking, naruto passed the tea shop just in time to catch gaara coming out of it. "GAARA!" glomp "it's great to see you. how have you been? what are you doing here? did you here about the festival? do you want to go with me?" gasp gasp breath. whee

Sasuke was walking through the streets and overheard some kid's talking about a festival. 'maybe he should go' he thought to himself. Well It was somthing to do rather than do nothing.

It was sudden and it knocked the breath out of him as Naruto tackled Gaara. He looked over at the fellow demon holder and couldn't help but smile. The ramen lover was the only person he really trusted in Konoha. "Hello... Naruto..." he said quietly, before looking over to him. It took Gaara a while, but slowlyhe nodded, to Naruto's question. At least he was going. "I'll go with you..."

"GREAT! let's go get some ramen and then we can go buy some kimonos." naruto turned around to go to ichiraku and saw kakashi walking down the street "kakashi-sensei!" he yelled waving his hands over his head.

naruto grabbed the book from kakashi's hands. it was rather easy considering how good he had gotten over the years. "why do you keep reading these things? is it because you don't get laid and you need something to get you off?"

Looking on quite awkwardly Gaara sighed at naruto's continued antics and glanced to Kakashi. He bowed and greeted politely, "Good Afternoon Kakashi-san..."
