I like Soujiro as well. I think he could have beaten Kenshin if he wasn't so confused by Kenshin's view on protecting the weak when Shishio taught him that the weak perish... I like Kenshin the best for having that view though. ^_^

Well, I have one more favorite but he's not in the series: Gentatsu. He's in the OVA, I think. I can't really remember since it's been long since I watched any of the OVAs...

Genbu no miko Marie steph9338 my fave character is Sojiro (the kid that works for shishio. i think that's his name) because one of his attacks surpassed kenshin's god-like speed. but, he lost anyway. plus he only smiles all the time because he learned how to seal away his emotions. he was what i called a "happy go lucky kid" and he has this really sad story.... Agreed! Most definitely Soujirou, I'm still going to restate a bit of that. 1. He is based off a person who lived once in real life. 2. He was astoundingly cute as a kid. 3. Sympathy to his abused-ness. 4. Shishio's right hand man. 5. His Shukuchi technique that surpasses Ken-chan's Hiten Mitsurugi style's speed. 6. Shuntensatsu, his best technique, is awesome, and probably would've worked on Kenshin had he not been torn between two views of life at the time. 7. The title Tenken. 8. Dodged Kuzu Ryu Sen. 9. Always smiling. 10. In general, oddly kawaii. I bet he'll feel special if he heard that.

Of course everyone likes Kenshin, he's the main character!!! But personally I think Aoshi is the best character. Why?
1) He's sexy (I think so cuz he somehow reminds me of my bf)
2) He has issues
3) He's strong and cool
4) He's obsessive
5) He's a dynamic character (beginning of the series- stoic/
end of the series- nice)
6) He's a ninja ninja and I like ninjas!!! Who doesn't?
7) He's cold but, in some kind of weird way, fond of his friends (Hanya, Beshimi, Hyotoko, Shikiyo, and of course little Misao 4laugh )

If there wasn't any Kenchan around,i'd choose Sano! ^^
His train/camera- phobia is very funny! xd
Besides, I love his chewing-toys! 3nodding
If there was no Ken nor Sano,i'd choose Soujiro!
He's soo kawaii since he smiles all the time (except after episode..err...54? (I don't remember!)
