I'd definatly have to say Random. I used to work at a Subway, and I always thought that if my life failed, I could just change my name to Random Dent and manage a Subway, telling people I was taking over my father's line of work.
(and if I may say so, I was one hell of a sandwich artist in my day)
Marvin rocks too. I have a friend whom I swear is the human reincarnation of that android.

Bwa! With that sort of thinking, your life should spout golden petunias whereever you go! heart ...golden petunias? the hell?!

I guess becoming my own Random is better than what Wowbagger the Infinitely Prolonged decided to do with the rest of his long, long life. Douglas Adams "You are Genghis Khan?........" Khan nodded faintly......"Good" said Wowbagger, and made a little tick on his clipboard. He looked up. "Genghis Kahn", he said, "you are a wanker; you are a tosspot; you are a very tiny piece of turd. Thank you." With that he retreated into his ship and flew off. ....although, if I had that kind of time on my hands, it might be fun.

It probably doesn't count, but I kinda liked the piece of fairy cake in the total perspective vortex.

No, no, it's got to be deeper than that - why, then, do you not profess a love of the Arcturan Megacow at Milliway's?
