This happened a long time ago, though there was never an official annoucnment on it.
Most of you probably don't know/remember, but a long time ago in a galaxy far away, we had two other GAs, Aldaron and MJ (hence the medals in their names). Anyways, we've taken them off as mods, but since they know the GAT codes, if they ever come back from their wierd and sudden dissapearances, they get mod status again.
That means we've thinned down to two so, we might be looking for another.. wink

August 19th-
Not much, except for people in COTGCW.
By a MASSIVE MARGIN, nearly unanimous, the original COTGCW will be locked after the battle of Kashyyk, to make room for the next RP, as voted upon in the Senate Resolution #12.
We will hold a resolution on the name of the new RP soon.
Details for the conclusion of COTGCW.
- After teh Battle ends, as will be plainly obvious, all Mercs should leave the planet immediately, and wrap up their story for this RP.
-All sith should follow FP's lead, wrap up their story, and be done.
-Jedi should finish, and seeing as how everyone is just a padawan, just accompany neb.
I personally will tell you when the RP is over. I'll make the final post, and by god, this one will be one HELLA good ending, I can promise you that. If you thought COTGCW was fun to rp in, you haven't seen anything yet. I assure you, the ending will blow you away.
After the RP ends, I'll make one Final Post, as sort of a credits to teh RP. I'll list all the people involved (i think) and then it will be over.
There may be a one or two day delay of RPing, as we transition over to the new one. BE WARNED! I'm changing a thing or two with the bios when it comes out. I'll keep your old ones, but if you want to change the bio (especially fill in some shady parts which I don't really know, but you do) please resend it.

Current RPers of COTGCW, please, please, go vote on a name for the new COTGCW, we need feedback, cuz frankly, the titles blow.
Secondly, the Clone Wars RP, tentatively titled Band of Vode, is being worked on, and the framework is pretty much down. As of now, the squad will only hold ten members, so if you sign up, you better be dedicated. There may be a slight chance that if we fill up, you /might/ and this is a very very small might, be able to RP a CIS droid, but don't count on it. Las chicas (girls for those who dont know spanish), have no fear, because their WILL be female clones in the RP, so don't feel wierd about having to RP a boy. Not much to say here, expect a launch in mid-September, possibly earlier. The RP will be squad based, so it won't be COTGCWish.
Lastly, the First Guild Millitary Ball will be held the week of labor day, from Sunday to Sunday. The Casual ball in June was for the most part a success, though not many people were on for it.. Only those of you in the guild millitary ranking system may attend, and their may be a small fee (100 gold isn't /that/ bad is it?)) because GAT is in need of boots.. Expect a party RP similar to the Casual ball's, more medals to be given out, and more...

8-22: News on Clone Wars RP: Band Of Vode. Helping me in planning this, is our very own Admiral Nospai Deathous, so if I''m not available for questioning, ask him, he may be able to help you out. Anyways: In this RP, 8 of us will be RPing an elite Republic Commando unit, with each of us having a special skill (TBA later). There are 5 open spots, since three are taken by Nelowulf, me, and Admiral Deathous,, but if it fills up and you still want in, don''t fret, we''ll work you in! So here''s the deal. I would like to have hte roster filled by the time of Launch sometime in september, so please start signing up today. More information will be released later, and your bios will be modified to accomodate it. Special Ability: TBA Qualities: Hothead, calm, patient, fiery, aggresive etc. Weapon Preffarance- Assault cannon, rifle, pistol, stealth gun, rocket launcher EMP, etc. This will help determine the special abilities you will be able to choose from. Description: Though, we all look the same (except for las chicas, who look like..girls), we will have customizable Armor. So, give us a description of your Armor, and if youre an artist, maybe even draw it? Battlefront Chars: Which SW Battlefront clone would you most like your character to be like? This will be the template, though you will be more than the average clone. ATTENTION ALL PEOPLE IN THE COTGCW UNIVERSE!
Some old news, and some new news.
Old news: COTGCW is at its finale. We WILL be ending it within the next 10 pages. At this time, all Sith and non-force users should be closeing their stories. Basically, put yourself at a point for the conclusion. Jedi should get prepped for one final twist, but basically put your action aside soon. Neb Wulf is currently "unfindable" to everyone, as I make sure everything else is wrapped up. Don't worry, this is almost over.
The one thing that will happen is that once everything is concluded, Neb will be the final post. You can tell which one it is, as Neb will begin talking with Skywalker about events to come. A big twist here.
But, A biggie. GAT will be doing the credits. After the final post, GAT will close the COTGCW for good, with a list of credits.
I have installed something for everyone... (hopefully). I have included every single person seen in the RP, as well as compiled some special thanks to the more devoted, especially those who really came up with some neat s**t and really pushed the game. So be aware that just because the RP may end at credits, that you shouldn't read them. I can garuntee at least a couple laughs, if nothing else, respectable finality.
Now, for some NEW NEWS!
Shards of the Force RP will be starting up pretty damn soon. This means that we no longer have to worry about missing our favorite drama.
Hey, we have new twists, turns, and general rules to add. I wrote them all up, but just to make sure you know them by heart, READ THEM!
If you don't understand something, please tell me! I really want this to be as easily comprehended as possible!
Also, I Will announce the biggest innovation tonight: I AM ACCEPTING BIOS AS OF NOW FOR SOTF! Read over the bio format, as it has changed a wee bit, and resend me the new information!
Remember, you don't have a deadline, but the sooner it comes in, the quicker I can accept you, and when I reset the bio sheets, you'll be near the top end.
Remember, It's been a year since the beginning of COTGCW! If you want, you can restart as something new, or boost your old profile with some new events!
That's about all folks, at the moment, but more later on offical opening day!

On behalf of Nelowulf and the other founding members of the Guild, I would like to thank everyone who participated and helped make Chronicles of the Galactic Civil War a huge success. It is now officially over, and the sequel, Shards of the Force is currently accepting bios. So please, if you enjoyed the first, resubmit a bio for the second, it'll be loads of fun.
And don't forget the credits! You may never want to skip them again!
Also, Emerald Squadron still has room for three pilots, and Band of Vode could always use some more people.

Attention all COTGCW members interested in the Sequel, SOTF!
One more thing to touch up on. All bios from COTGCW will be deleted by 3 pm Eastern Standard time tomorrow, so if your character is returning, and you haven't given a bio yet, you may want to get that in TONIGHT!
Once the COTGCW bios are gone, you will not have any access to your previous bio, and the option of copy and paste will not be available anymore. So if you're trying to save a couple hundred keystrokes on your bio, I suggest you do so before the bios are deleted.
I want access to my mailbox soon, and by 4 pm EST, the new accepted bios will be appearing in the Imperial Personel thread, where the old COTGCW bios were located. This is the new list of returning comrades and new guys who are accepted into the SOTF.
IF YOUR CHARACTER IS NOT IN THE PERSONEL THREAD, THOSE POSTS WILL BE DELETED!
The beginning of SOTF is a fast paced mover, and missing the opening may be the worst thing you can do for your story. Unless you want to emerge later on, but its better to emerge late by choice rather than by neglect.

Now, reporting to you live from FP's mouth, Nelo and his amazing ventriloquist act!
Okay, Nelo here. Some things I'll just tack on FP's post and be done with it.
points of importance:
1) The ball is a major event for many people. we are awarding many medals, more than ten total. So be prepared for a lot of people to be recognised for accomplishments long overdue.
2) Both I and FP have decided we are going to add 2 people to become mods. Now we have thought long and hard about this. We have our reasons for doing this. Some people may have expected that they would have been a mod, and were not chosen, and so they may ask, Why? It wasn't because they were not worthy, but we simply did not have any excuse to promote more than 2 at this moment. However, we may decide to promote 1 or 2 more people later, at our next ball. Any derogatory comments may result in large consequences. Also, these mods are only Grand Moffs, and so, they still have to watch their step (though we don't expect too much trouble out of them).
Okay, now to other things, which FP did not go over.
3) SOTF, under my decision, will begin tommorow. After I make the first post, then its a free for all. Unlike the COTGCW, we have three planets which you can be limited to. I recogmend that if you don't want to be pegged for battle, don't go to kothlis to help, as that is strictly orbit only, and since imperius is on Ruusan, theres a good chance that unless you want his bounty, you'll probably not want to pick on him. I have put Ord Mandell as the place for you non-force using people. Its a bit rough, but seeing as we have an outlaw and two bounty hunters, i don't think this would really ruffle your feathers much.
As of now, Nothing else I can think of. So out.

Long time since we've had an update that people should know about.
As we all know, Gaia has recently added Sub-forums. This is a beautiful day for Muah, personally, but also for teh guild as well. We finally have the first chance to tap into the entry fees and donations people have put in over the last year to actually purchase something.
Big WOW!
But moreso, we will probably be changing the face of the guild to suit more needs. at the moment, I, nelowulf, have been planning orgainizing the guild to make it more easy to read and visit, according to your tastes. hopefully, you won't have to worry about scanning through the entire front page to find one or two threads you visit. Soon, you'll just have one forum you'll like better.
So far, the outer rim is our newest sub-forum, though we may add one more. The outer rim is to be our new... Spam forum, so to speak. Though we do not tolerate spam in the least, its going to be a free range thread, possibly having the popular Mos Eisley Cantina and our games like Talk Like Yoda and Lines You'll Never Hear threads going into it.
Until we get this settled, later days!

Long time no update:
- Guild annaversary had no party (Unless you went to white castle like i did, but...), however we still have a commerative event. The guild banner/art/siglink contest is still running, with 10 days left to it at the present date this is issued. Get crackin! we dont' ahve any contestants. What, is 2000 gold not enough for you to pick out a background, type a couple words, and submit? we're not asking for an original piece, but we do want something! come on folks! you can get this!
- Senate Resolution 13a passed by a long shot. Unanimously. We are starting our guild comic, see further details later in this post.
- Senate Resolution 13b failed, almost unanimously. No new subforums for RPs, comics, lottery, and stores will be made. Instead, they will clutter up the front instead. No subforums for Archives will be made either.
- Senate Resolution 13c passed quite well as well, and the lottery will be set up soon in the future. Make sure to keep an eye out for it. We will give that money out one way or another. Be prepared...
In other news:
- The comic is up and running! If you wish to be part of the comic (one way or another) please PM myself or a mod! If you are creative, you might have a chance at becoming part of the comic staff! Some spots to consider are:
a) storyline creator (easy, no art required)
b) background drawer (Artistic people here)
c) Avatar cleaner (I need help getting various poses and cleaning them up to use)
d) Avatar Editor (REALLY APPRECIATE THIS! VERY USEFUL!)
You may or may not make a spot.
-Also, involving the comic, you may recieve a request in the mail asking to... pose, shall we say? It will ask for you to dress up a certain way, or pose a certain way for a day. Reply by telling us what to expect you to wear, so we don't mistake you. Also tell us if you don't wish to appear either.
Taht's all I can think of now. Later days.
