"Silly silly bay-bees!" Nariko giggled as she watched Aladon and then Delphine. She held tight to Aladon's hand as she helped him towards the bush, finding herself a new blue egg next to a green one.
Catherine smiled. "His name is Salem.. he's one of the teachers here.. and he owns an adoption home I work at." She smield a bit, a deep pink flushed over her cheeks. She really like Salem.
Aphrodite giggled a knowing little girlish giggle. "Yep!"
"Aphrodite, why don't you take Garreth over there to play with the other kids?"
The wasp mishap sighed as she flew up off her mother's head. "Come on Garreth.. let's go find candy!"
The little half dragon looking toddler, blinked, his head perking up. "Candy?" He smiled as he nuzzled his mother's arm. "I like candy."

Kay moved slightly closer to the other guardians but made sure to keep an eye on Delphine. "Oh, we're both rather new here." she answered Kanilea, "and the one rolling around in the shrubs is Delphine."
At that moment Delphine was half in the bushes, rabbit-ears off and in one hand. Her tail swished excitedly as she covered the dreaded ears clumsily with leaves and then picked up the red egg. If they weren't for eating what did you do with them she wondered?
She crawled over to Aladon and Nariko and held out the egg to show them, maybe they knew what to do?

Nariko blinked for a moment, watching the rolling and tumbling babies. She smiled as Delphone emerged with an egg, seeing as that she didn't know what to do Nariko let go of Aladon's hand for a moment, and then put down her own basket that held two eggs. "Babies, you put egg here." She pointed, bending down to lift up a plastic egg to show them and then dropped it back into her basket. "See?"
Catherine merely smiled brightly at the new girl. "I'm Catherine, this is my mishap, Aphrodite." She grinned pointing to Aphrodite as obviously smaller mishap led the large chubby toddler away to go play. "That Garreth.. and the one playing with Delphine is Nariko."
"Candy!" Garreth exclaimed as she toddle off after his big sister.

Just then Salem finally showed up, spider mishap in two. To say he didn't look good was an understatment. Salem had developed rings under his eyes though they hadn't gotten all that dark just yet, his hair was a little more unruly then usual, and he had a cigarette between his lips. This was the most off setting considering he never smoked around children. He smoothed down his clothes a little as he approached, very reluctantly dropping his f** to the ground and snuffing it out with the bottom of his boot before he got too close to the playing children.
Cato looked around curiously, his left hand in Salem's larger one with his three remaining arms wrapped around his beloved egg and the two small arms located at his shoulders held a basket. "Daddy... I still don' get it..."
Salem smiled softly down at his little mishap. He seemed to be in a very good mood despite his looks. "Well, you look for little fake eggs. They're hidden all over the place. When you find them you put them into your basket. There's prizes inside the eggs, but you can't open them yet. That's the rule. Get it?"
Cato thought about it for a moment before nodding. "So... Dere's good stuff in pretty eggs...?"
The blonde catfolk nodded lightly to his adopted son before smiling at the little group of kids. "Hello there, Nari-chan! How've you been? And who are you're friends?" A smile was now flashed at first the pretty striped baby then at the more unusual bat baby. "I think I've heard of you. Al... Aladon, right? I used to have a couple of kids back at my adoption home a lot like you. And you! Look how pretty you are!" He knelt down and gave Delpine's tummy a little tickle. "This is Cato. We're going to go say hi to everyone else, but then Cato's going to come back and play, alright?" With that he stood and continued on.
Cato waved very lightly at Nariko, but there was no smile to his face. Then he turned to Aladon and blinked. Huh? What...? This was a little confusing to him. He slowly started to turn his head to the side until he started to lean his body into it too. The only thing that kept him from falling over was his grip on Salem's hand. Soon he straitened up and looked at Delphine. Ooo... His eyes locked onto the pretty frills around the base of her tiger-like tail. Those were so pretty... He wanted them... One of his hands came off his egg to try and reach for one as the passed. Lucky for her, he missed.
Salem now waved at Aphrodite and Garreth, though it took him a moment to realize it was him. "Hey Aph-baby. Hello... Um... Garreth...? Is that you? You're starting to try out a human form? That's great! You're doing really good!"
Cato frowned, looking back at the pretty frill he'd missed before looking where he was going, more so because he heard his father talk then anything else. "Oh..." Was all he said as he saw the two, offering a small wave at each of them. He didn't seem like a very friendly little thing, did he...?
And on they went, finally reaching the adults. "Hey Cath-baby... I'm sorry I'm late... Some stuff came up back at the Home and I needed to handle that before leaving. Hello everyone. I'm Salem. This is my little misshap, Cato." He motioned to the toddler at his side for the two new adults. Gods... He really needed to get out and meet more people...
Cato now looked at the three women almost blankly before waving at Catherine. "Hello Mommy..." He'd gotten used to calling her that recently sense all the other kids around him always seemed to call her that...

Nariko grinned sheepishly towards Salem, and waved to Cato placing as plastic egg inside his basket when he wasn't looking, thinking it to be a funny good deed. Turning back to the other two babies, she placed her hands on her hips. "Come on bay-bees, we gonna get mo' eggies."
Garreth blushed as Salem commented on his appearance, quickly running off towards the brush, after quickly waving at Cato. "Heheheheheee!"
Aphrodite blinked, looking at Salem. "Ah.. Uncle Salem.. you don't look so hawt- Ah! Garreth!" The wasp mishap cried out following after her baby brother.
Catherine smiled at Cato, "Hi, sweetheart. How are you and Blank doing? Up to mischief as usual?" She laughed a bit, and then smiled up at Salem from where she sat. Seeing how he looked, she merely opened up her arms to him inviting him to rest her embrace.

Delphine was rather dissapointed that the strangers had gone off to sit with the other adults. The tall person had been nice, and the other one had been interesting looking. Had he been admiring her fins? She fluffed them proudly and turned back to Nariko and Aladon.
Right!, more of the bright things for Nari's basket? What would that do? She blinked - ok. The girl was older so she must know more about these things, Delphi assumed.
"Hello Salem, Cato." Kay greeted from her seat on the grass. "I'm Kay, and little fish-kitty is Delphine." She studied Cato for a moment and then clapped a hand to her mouth. Was, he a spider!? She sat in shock for a minute and then relaxed. He wasn't at all creepy-looking like the tiny spiders that scared her so much. Infact he was kind of cute. She let out a sigh and gave Cato an apologetic smile.
Delphine flopped onto the grass again and rolled over to look at Cato. And spotted Garreth and Aphrodite dashing towards them. Her fins and tail fluffed out and she quickly crawled behind Aladon.

Salem blushed slightly as his looks were pointed out. He had had a very long... Jeez... Nearly three months? It had been very nerve grinding and exhausting. Still he seemed to have had at least a mood lift now that he was here. Allowing himself to fall gracelessly onto his knees he cuddled into Catherine's arms and nuzzled her shoulder, purring softly. "Pleasure to meet you Kanilea. Cute kid you got there. Pleasure to meet you too Kay, your Delphine is lovely! I'm sure you're going to have to follow her around with a bat when she's older to keep the boys away." He laughed softly at Kan's comment, playfully sticking his tongue out at her before speaking, "Hey... I'm the rugged handsome. I can look as scruffy as I want and still be sexy!" He laughed at that, not believing that for a moment himself.
Cato looked at Kay, blinking all four of his bright green double eyes at her. As cute as he may have been, the indifferent look he usuall wore hinted that he wasn't very social. Delphie had been flattered that he had admired her fins, little did she know that wasn't a good thing. Deimos, Nariko, Tam, and Ike had all found out the hard way, getting the parts that Cato liked yanked real hard was he tried to take it home with him. Now that he'd gained the ability to make his hands sticky, it was even harder to get him to let go.
"Alright Cato, you're free to go. Try not to get into too much trouble, alright?" He looked over at his multi-armed son with a soft smile, hoping beyond hope that the child would listen. He'd have to keep an eye on him anyway, just in case.
The spider toddler nodded slightly and started to toddle off quick, "Awrigh' Daddy!" He was going to find lots and lots of eggs so he could get the stuff inside! He blinked as he heard a rattling in his basket. He brought it around to look, blinking his odd double eyes at the egg inside. Wow! That was quick! Need to find some more now! He giggled happily thinking he was off to a good start. He didn't join any of the other children however, he went off by himself to start searching the bushes on his own. "We're gonna fine lots 'n' lots of eggs! You see Blank!" He happily chirped to the large bronze egg in his secondary set of arms.

Catherine smiled laughing a bit, hugging Salem tightly. She missed him so much! " No matter how you look you'll always be sexy to me." Catherine spoke reassuringly, nuzzlnig the top of Salem's head with her own. Taking a deep breath she grabbed Salem's larged callosed hand, placing it over her belly, which protruded out more than it should, at least from the stage she was at. "Salem.. about what I wanted.. to talk to you.. about..." She began softly, squeezing his hand a bit, emphazing where it was.
Aphrodite blinked seeing Cato all by himself.. at least with Blank, zooming over she went back to her mother's purse, pulling out Al. Holding him tightly she flew back over to Garreth. "Ok.. I feel better now."
Garreth blinked dropping his basket and hiding his face as soon as Delphine hid herself. "I'm sorry!" He said loudly.
Nariko blinked a bit, taking Delphine's egg and putting it tiger-mishap's basket. "No baby.. you find eggie.. you put eggie you find in baskets." She tried to explained, but in the end ended up confusing herself.
Peaking through his fingers he looked at nariko. "Maybe can share..."
The toddler shrugged looking at Cato as he played alone...again. Leaving her basket, she made her way over to Cato, tilted her head to the side as she looked at him. "Cato... wanna play with us and dah bay-bees?"

Salem smiled at that, nuzzling right back. "And that's all that's important. Hm...?" He blinked golden cat eyes at Catherine as she moved his hand to her belly. "Um... Yeah?" The hint went right over his head. The point she was trying to get across was the last thing that he had on his mind.
Cato blinked up at Nariko a hand half way out streached toward a bright red egg. He snatched it up and stood, reaching over his shoulder and dropping the egg into the basket. "Um... 'kay..." He mumbled softly. This would give him a chance to get close to that pretty frill...

Delphine crawled out from her hiding spot, realising Garreth wasn't meaning to be scary. "Bah!" she chided him for giving her a fright anyway and then rolled back on the grass to look at everyone.
Her cat-like eyes spotted Aphrodite flying again and followed her movements. Delphi's coiled legs tensed, her tail gave a wild swish and she pounced a short distance, landing right beside the wasp mishap. She collapsed on the grass with a giggle, that had been fun. Maybe she could find something else to pounce on? She spotted something black in the grass beside Cato. Ah-hah! Another eggy! Maybe the little person she'd pounced would want it? "Eg!?"
Kay meanwhile had taken her eyes off Delphine for a moment and had completely missed her 'pouncing' Aphrodite; the fish-kitty would have gotten quite a scolding if she had been. Kay was biting her tounge trying not to interrupt what looked to be a rather serious moment for the pair of guardian's sitting near her. Honestly, men! She thought to herself, before turning back to watch the children play again.

Aphrodite flew low to the ground, looking up as she spotted the tiger baby flying over her. Taking a deep breath, she zommed into Garreth's basket hugging Al.
"I keeps you safe." Garreth grinned as he watched the children pounce about.
Catherine let out a sighed, then began to whipser something inaudible into his cat ears.

All four of Cato's eyes widened as the baby came flying at him, landing near by. All four of his double eyes narrowed, one main arms clutching his large bronze egg named Blank tightly while the other helped suport his weight. The second pair of arms just behind the first snapped out and streached wide as he crouched low to the ground. The thinnest pair of hands that made their home on the back of his shoulders had by now dropped the basket he had been holding and streached out far above him. Quite bluntly he had instinctively made himself look as large and intimidating as possible.
Meanwhile, Salem was back with the adults, still quite confused. He turned an ear to better listen as Catherine leaned in to whisper something to him, wondering what it was. His pretty golden cat eyes widened as it came. "Oh Gods..." He whispered softly, what little color left in his usually nicely tanned skin draining. Slowly he pulled away to lock eyes with the person who would soon be the mother of his children. "You mean... I... I'm gonna be..." A smile slowly creeped onto his lips as it finally sunk in. Ever sense he had retired being a dragonrider with Gairbith he had been the father for so many little ones who had lost their families. He had taken care of every magical creature that came his way without a family or home, like he had once been and fathered every single one as best he could, all while trying to find them all new families as well. Never in his life did he think that he himself would be actually having any of his own. "Oh... C-Cath... I... I'm so happy!" He clung to her tightly, nuzzling her cheek with deep purrs. A shame the tender moment would be ending all too soon.
Cato barred tiny baby fangs and hissed loudly. The pretty baby had scarred him very badly. Cato wasn't usually friendly to begin with and now the matters had innocently been made worse. The poor little girl could have never seen all this coming. His prey had wandered far too close and he wasn't going to let her get away! He had no thought of trying to eat her of course, though he did preffer live food. She was simply too big. However prey or victim, either way you look at it, he was as good as caught. The toddler had grown surprisingly agile by this point and was more then ready to shoot out his second pair of arms and take hold of those pretty tail frills he'd spotted earlier. "MINE!" He snarled, even going so far as to add his ability to make his hands stick to things on top of his painfully tight grip. "MIIINE" He called out loudly again.Poor, poor Delphi... How would she get herself out of this one?
