Mikai nickered, and chased after her. He quickly caught up to her, his love of running giving him skill, but he pulled back, enjoying the race.
He thought about a deer he saw once in the forest. It was fragile looking, and small. But it was also graceful and beautiful. It's long graceful horns kept Mikai staring for hours. That deer reminded Mikai a lot of Fawn, actually. He began to wonder...what if Fawn was part deer? He vaguely remembered her with spots, but now they were gone. What if her father was a deer! What if their foals will have antlers! It amazed him. His foals would have the agility and grace of a deer, but the strength and size of a horse...

Fawn giggled as she put on an extra burst of speed. Mikai had been gone so long, he'd probably traveled around and learned a few things...
"Mikai," she called, slowing to a stop, then turning so that she could face him. "You were gone so long... have you traveled and seen things? I'd like to know your thoughts, my love... and then I'll tell you a story."
She felt it was only proper to tell her mate all about herself; she was half deer, and she had a lot of abilities she had gotten from her father. For one thing, she could jump higher than normal...

"Well, I saw many creatures that you would never believe existed." he began. "I saw creatures that were large, and shining. They carried humans inside of them, and were faster than you or I could ever run. They emitted a vile smoke as they moved that made my eyes water. I also saw horses like me, but they were much smaller, and shaggier. They were confined in fences, and carried human foals on their backs. I tried to speak to them, but they only mumbled strange words I could not understand. They seemed so broken. So confined. I felt sorry for them.
And then there were those annoying things. They looked a lot like wolves, but their coats were shorter, and they were not as savage. However they barked loudly, and chased after you, nipping at your tail. You could whirl around at them, and neigh at them to leave, but they only looked at you dumbly.
And I saw....a deer. It knew it was a deer, because it told me. It was a doe, and boy was she graceful. She reminded me...so much of you. Upon meeting her, I was broken and near to giving up my search. But when I set my eyes on her, I knew to keep going. She was brown, like you, and had a deer foal by her side. It looked like you had, with white spots. She was only smaller, thinner, and had thinner legs. She was smarter than the other creatures I'd met, because she spoke to me without having trouble finding the right words."

Dark mane and tail fly behind the young native buckskin stallion as he rounds the edge of the Native's grazing grounds. Blue hooves thundered across the ground as sweat gleamed on the light coat. Okari's Lightning was just enjoying a good run by himself along the herd's land.
Okari snorted with a toss of his head picking up pace from a three-beat gallop to a four-beat. He was kicking up on the imagined finishing spot between two apple trees.

((@BW: Mind if I RP my Native horse with yours? Her name is Mikka. I'll post her picture and stuff in a second.))
"Truly? You're not teasing me?" asked Fawn, giggling as she nuzzled her new mate. "Those must be the horses that belong to the pale humans," Fawn said with a touch of dislike in her voice. She had heard about them from a friend, Mikka. "My Native tribe friend told me about them. She's very wise.
"You shouldn't feel sorry for them, because they won't do anything but do what those pale humans say. They're not very... civilized." Fawn didn't like how she was speaking, either, but it was the truth. There was no hope for the shaggy looking horses. "Annoying things? Like wolves? I've never heard of them!"

((This is Mikka. She's from the Native tribe.
))She had decided to travel out, especially after she had heard about the legendary healer, she had wanted to go out and seek him, to find him and learn his trade. As she walked, she noticed another stallion. He had markings on him like a Native horse. She stopped to watch him.

((That is cool with me.))
Okari's Lightning flew across the imaginary finish line he had used since a foal. Tossing his head about with still some built up adrenaline, he spotted another native looking horse. He could tell by her build that she was a mare.
Having had bad experiances with Sevti's ill tempered mares. He eyed the new black mare with the blue dots and paint on her face through his thick mane. He could feel his heart still racing from his practice run and his muscles quivered under his coat in an attempt to cool themselves off.
Shaking his head alittle, Okari's Lightning declared it wouldn't hurt to atleast try and talk to one of the other horses in the Natives' herd. Stepping lightly from the spot between the apple trees he cautiously headed towards the mare. "Hello." he nickered friendly towards her.

((Oops. XD Thanks Shetan.))
She nodded to him, a soft smile on her face. "Hello," she greeted. "You looked like you were having fun, so I didn't want to interrupt."
She shook her mane so that it flew to the other side of her neck. "You smell sweaty, anyway," she said, laughing. "I'm Mikka. And you?"

With a gentle smile and slight laugh of his own to the true facts of the sweaty smell, he was suprised Mikka actually had spoke to him like a member of the herd and not an outsider. "I'm Okari's Lightning, but my friends call me Okari. It is nice to meet you Mikka." He spoke sincere and at the same time releaved someone was not just judging him to rumors that had even hit near his home.
Flicking his tail at an irrating fly, tilting his head to the side Okari's Lightning fought with asking such a kind mare a question such as what was bouncing around in his thick skull. Shrugging alittle Okari descided it couldn't hurt to ask and maybe be the one to get killed besides the cat for once with coursity. "In all honesty I was suprised to hear your reply to my greetings. Most just give me dirty looks and turn away or mutter something and snort in my face." Even though a solid proud looking face one could tell such words tied to actions had been something imprinted on this stallion's brain.

Mikka cocked her head at him. "Why would the others do that to you?" She truly was confused. Okari's Lightning seemed perfectly fine; there was nothing wrong with him. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Okari's Lightning... Okari.
"I don't see why you should be surprised. I'm just surprised to hear that others have been treating you so indecently. Who are these others who are so cruel? I'd like to have a word with them!" She didn't like that. She should probably search for Shinta or Snow, because the two could probably help Okari out.
"You're perfectly fine, Okari. There is nothing wrong! I only see that you've been treated unfairly."

"Pleasure is mine, on making your acquaintance." Okari's Lightning straighted his head up to where his chin was parrallel to the ground, "The others just don't like the fact that my native and her dog seem to be the closest thing to a connected disfunctional family I have."
Okari lifted his head up alittle higher then normal, ever since Luyu had really taken him in he had lost the connection between others of his breed. A smile came back to his mouth, "The twins that Sevti has are more hateful then others, they seem to cross my path more frequently then many of the others in the herd too, sadly." Then looking tossing his head slightly to settle his mane alittle more for air to go through and cool his neck easier. The buckskin stallion added, "In all honesty rudeness is something I've gotten use to, kindness is what throughs me off. So the rude others are nothing more to me then a pesty fly."
After saying that he descided to change the subject not liking to talk about himself alot. He was truly intrigued by the kindness that Mikka possessed, "What of yourself? I mean not many venture this far out in the fields?"
