"That's right." He piped in quietly, slowly peeking out a bit more to send a soft smile over to his brother, "We'll be old enough to live on our own, it won't take too long either. Nothing like Gil or Hugo." Snowe really didn't mind their guardian or their home life but it did feel a bit crowded for him. Gabe was always busy trying to keep everyone happy and content- not to mention healthy. Gillian was so prone to illness thta it wasn't uncommon for him to come down with a cold or a cough that was severe enough to hold Gabe's attention away from the other children. The thought of living on his own with Ryose was exciting, he could always visit home but they'd be free to do what they want, "A-and then we don't have to eat the crusts."

Snow brightened a bit more, moving up alongside his brother, "Yeah! We can watch the stars come out too, but we gotta get something for the mas...quitos... the bitey bugs." He looked to the side, he hated bugs, loathed them. Already there'd been countless times where the lad had seen something as harmless as a beetle crawling accross his window and ended up screaming bloody murder for someone to come squash it.

"I don't like bugs!" He shuddered, "They're just.... they have too many legs all hairy and small and... they make my skin crawl when they get on me, and their ugly faces, their big mean looking eyes- and SPIDERS!" He put his arms around himself, all this talk about them was making him nervious, "Urng... I don't know if I could sleep close to where a spider was- you'd make sure there were no spiders first, right?"

"...e...crunchy!?" Snowe looked mortified, his eyes bulging out as he looked over to the girl. Who in their right mind would put one of those things in their -mouth-!? And then have the gut to chew...and...swallow. The thought brough a cupped hand over his mouth, Snowe's stomache turned in ways he didn't think were at all natural. Of course half his mind was hoping that Ryose wouldn't get any ideas from this girl...watching his brother eat a bug would shoot his last nerves on the bug issue.

"It's the only edible thing in the house, aside from bread and some fruits. I don't eat any other meat aside from insects." The young girl smiles, though half of her is mildly pleased at Ryose's reaction, the other half is somewhat offended by Snowe's. She says nothing about it and delicately places her hands on her lap while smiling.

"What do you eat?" she asks the squeamish boy.

Snow averted his eyes away from her as her eyes fell on him and her question was fired off. "...we..well I uh...w...I...", he sunk into his shoulders, his arms stiff at his side. He looked releaved as his brother ruffled his hair, giggling. "Stoop it, Ryose!" He blushed a bit, batting the boy's hand away. "I like veggies... and fruits." He looked to his feet, "They're...good for you...and plants need to be eaten- it's how they breed Gabe said."

Flerida wrinkled her nose at the talk of eating meat but refrains from saying how the very idea of devouring any living thing without an exoskeleton is appalling. Instead she cocks her head to the side, "Why don't you like this Gabe person, Ryose?" Flerida asked, quite curious as to why on Hameln would anyone not like being taken care of. "He sounds like he cares for you and your brother very much."

"Gabe would be better if he wasn't -stuffy-. and I hate his cat. It ate my mice." Ryose grumbles. "He keeps his library warded, so I don't see why I -can't- have mice if he has his retarded horrible cat and a kid that looks like COW. I mean he's nice but jeeze." He makes a face. "Everyone's always freaking out when I say I found something like a bone or a snake." He sighs. "I hate it. It's boring and stupid."
