Kazuma's head bobbed softly as he listened to Keiran's hesitant explanation. The boy wasn't saying anything out of the ordinary, really. Was he embarrassed about being gay, or something? Did he think Kazz would freak out or run screaming from the room or something. The teen chuckled softly to himself...until Keiran finished up his statement.
Hazel pale violet eyes blankly for a moment, meaning not quite registering in his brain. Slowly, his head tilted to the side.
"Are you saying you're here for pros....er... solicitation?" he asked gently. That was certainly not what he had been expecting. Not in the least. His eyebrows drew tightly together as he mulled over an appropriate comment. The kid obviously felt bad enough about things, he didn't want to make things worse.

Keiran wince as Kazz started to say prostitution. He softly nodded his head in response.
"Leaving the court house...Michael was there....and...he said he never even liked me, that i was only a pretty face used for money and now that i was no use to him he was throwing me to the dogs...after i covered for him in court, and he knew that too..."
He rubbed the back of his neck nervously waiting for the boy to say something, anything. He was expecting him to call him some sort of filthy word, or get up and leave or something, the only thing was....what would he say

"Well, that's...that's really a shame, Angel. You know, from the second I saw you I suspected you were her because someone took advantage of you..."
Kazz reached forward, taking one of Keiran's hands once more. It was tiny; it practically vanished within both of Kazz's.
"Oi, Angel, you are so cute. You look like you're bracing for the worst. Didn't I just say what I thinks doesn't matter?" He pursed his lips thoughfully.
"But...if you really want to know what I think... I think wev'e all done things we're ashamed of. At least you did what you did for love, even if it's not what you got back." he gave Keiran's hand a slight squeeze.

Keiran smiled a bit but not much, he still felt as if he was expecting the worse to come out at any time.
"Well....i shold tell you...Angel was...well my street name...everyone just took to calling me it everywhere"
He left his hand in KAzz's grip, it was warm and comforting, like the hands would protect his.
"My real name..is uh....Keiran..." He chewed his bottom lip again waiting for KAzz to get upset for him lying to him

"Oh?" Kazuma's eyebrows lifted in surprise. "Well, nice to meet you, Keiran. That's a nice name. " He chuckled softly, his eyes squinting shut with the action.
"Oi, can I call you Kei-chan? It'll be my personal nickname for you. "
He released the boy's hands then. He didn't want him to get the wrong idea, and to perhaps begin to suspect Kazz of ulterior motives.
"So, I guess it's my turn to spill now, ne? A promise is a promise, and I always keep mine."

Keiran felt a small smile come to his lips as Kazz chuckled, he liked to see him smile. But he hadn't wanted anyone to nickname him!
He reluctantly let go of the larger boys hand and let his own fall to his lap. His ears twitched at the mention of hearing his deeds and he perked up wanting to hear all of a sudden/

Kazz sighed, leaning back on his hands as he sat at the edge of the bed.
"You know how I told you I was in a band? Well, one of my bandmates....he got mixed up with the wrong crowd. Got involved with some shady dealings. The wrong kind of people came looking for him. And he was forced to do something illegal. I don't now what, never asked for specifics. All I knew was my friend was in trouble. That's all I needed to know."
Kazz exhaled loudly, disturbing his bangs with the action. "The cops came sniffing around, started asking me questions. But I never said a word, no matter how many threats those donut muncher threatened to heap on me. I didn't they they could really do it, you know? I thought that was TV junk." He laughed, though there was little humor in the sound.
"Guess I was wrog, ne? But you know the worst part? I've been in here nearly a year. Ten months, to be exact. How many letters do you think I got from him? None. As luck would have it a kid from my neighborhood wound up here. He told me Hyo moved away about a week after I was brought here. Ran off with some girl."

"Well...thats....not really good?" he had no idea how to respond to that. He wanted to tell him that he shold have known better, but Keiran should have known better than to do all of that for Michale so him and KAzz were pretty much in the same boat.
He shifted uncomfortably on the bed, what was he supposed to say after someone spills their story? He remembered what Kazz had said
"Well...that's really a shame...and you did yours for love...but a friend love...so even if you didn't get it back..."

Kazuma's expression visibly lightened as he realized Keiran had returned his words to him. He laughed softly.
"Hai, that's true. I was in love with him. I knew he didn't love me back, not the same way, but I thought we'd always be friends. I guess things don't always work out the way you plan." He cleared his throat, hoping to clear out some of the melancholy vibes that hung heavy in the air.
"So...you don't like Kei-chan? I think's it's super kawaii....just like you. I won't say it in front of people if you don't want, but I don't know if I can give it up."

Keiran blushed at the name again and the mention of him being super cute. It was almost like he was trying to purposly embarass him.
"So you loved him.....does that mean...." he couldn't finish that sentance! He couldn't just go out and ask the guy if he was gay! What would he think of him, first a whore then a nosey ruse little brat?
Realizing he was about to make a big mistake he shut his mouth and the blush brightened and he muttered a never mind before he turned around and started rifling through a few books that midori had set in his bookcase for class purposes most likely

Kazz nodded.
"Yeah I loved him. As in I imagined sharing a life with him. Does that surprise you? What were you going to ask?"
The teen tilted his head as he noticed Keiran's blushing. "Oi, did I embarass you or something? I didn't mean to. " He chuckled softly. "I guess I can be a bit forward, huh? Am I overwhelming you? I'll leave you alone if you like."

Keiran's head shot around quickly and he said and overloud, and over zealoused
"NO!" and then clamped his hadn over his mouth his wide and face going even more red
"I mean...don't go" he murmured behind his hand trying not to be the idiot he had just mad himself out to be.
He hung his head, hair falling around his face as he felt the blush not leaving, he felt so humiliated for what he had just done!

Kazz smiled at Keiran, one violet eye half obscured by a forelock of hair.
"Ok, I'll stay. You don't have to be embarassed." He placed a hand on the younger boy's shoulder. "Really, I'm flattered. I mean, I'm no social leper, but I'm not exactly Mr. Popularity, either, ne. It's nice to know some one care's whether yu go or stay." He shrugged slightly.
"So, now that we've got that bit of awkwardness out of the way...whatwere you about to ask me before?"

Keiran lowered his hand still blushing
"That will make things more awkward...."
He fiddled with his boot laces a bit tieing and re tying them.
"I was going to ask....ifyouweregay" he murmured under his breath
He never noticed but when he got really nervous his voice tended to go very low, very soft and very fast.

Kazuma blinked, not comprehending.
"What? I don't....I didn't catch that." The teen forwned in confusion. "Am I what now? You said it to fast. And to quiet. " He rubbed the back of his neck as he waited patiently for the blushing Keiran to repeat himself.
"It's not really as embarrassing as all that, is it? Just say it...heh...so I can hear." Kazz added helpfully.
