Luck watched the new horse. She seemed shy, Luck couldn't understand why. "Aww, well you'll like it here. There's lots of nice grass and apple trees." He paused and walked over to grab Averti and apple and brought it back. "Just stay away from the mountains, there's big cats up there that attack people."

Just then Tanna stuck her head around the corner of the house. She thought she heard a new horse. She peaked and saw Luck and a new, very colorful mare talking. She giggled to herself and slipped back around the house, hopefully unnoticed.

Luck watched Averti as she looked towards the mountains. She was so pretty, he didn't want her to get hurt. "You could stay around here, the grass is pretty good. And then we could talk and...." He trailed off. Then I could protect her, he thought...

Luck smiled and stepped back a bit so Averti could get to the good spot of grass. "Oh, there's a nice stream right there too." He nodded his head to indicate the stream a few feet away.

Tanna snuck in the back door of Fallen's house. She made her way into the living room where she found Fallen knitting by the front window. Tanna walked over and nudged her leg and then walked over to the front window and stood up to look out.

Fallen reached over and moved the curtain to look out. She saw Luck and a new mare grazing together. "Aww, how cute!" She said to Tanna. "Should we give them some oats?"

Tanna ran toward the back door and toward the stables.

Fallen laughed, "I guess that's a yes." She got up and walked out toward the stables. She walked around front queitly so she didn't startle the new horse. When she was closer she began to talk gently "Hi Luck, I see you made a new friend." She pulled out a handful of oats and held it out, first to Luck to show the new mare she was friendly, then to her.

Luck ate the oats happily and nodded to Averti to show it was okay. "This is Fallen, she takes care of me and Tanna."

Tanna walked around the house and came to stand by on the porch. "I am, nice to meet you." She said and then laid down.

Luck was happy to see Averti getting along with Fallen. He snorted and nuzzled Fallen's arm and then nuzzled Averti.

"I don't think so. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure. There's only one other fox around here and he has a snowflake."

Averti' was laying down under the apple tree where Luck and Averti' had first met. And next to her were what apeared to be, three small rocks with ears.

Hershey walked up to them. "I gues i could stand looking after such cute rocks."
