pixiestixryu That luck must have p[aid off. Ya both have the masks now! Ha, I could never save up for something that exspensive. I've been here 2 years and still look like a newby cuz I'm so darn indeciesive! xd Ah, but I have fun. Currently questing an ice whip and the upside-down boots miss burger is wearing.... (they mock me everywhere I go). Going towards a Mai avi for a contest! ^^ Yup, I'm glad we both got them, especially right before the huge inflation! eek Good luck on your quest. I've tried making a Mai avi before and it's surprisingly easy. ^^ Anyway, currently I'm questing for a Black Musketeer Cape (trying to get all the Musketeer stuff in black/red) but I only need a little over 1000 gold to get it now. XD;;

ooo, musketeer stuff is pretty cool.
I noticed theres been an inflation of everything lately! I remember back when cat ears were 5k instead of 13. Gah, it scares meh.
Anyway, I'm already bored with my old mai dream avi. Now I'm not sure what I want to buy, but I don't have much gold, so I guess I should just start saving anyway. sweatdrop

The inflation's because of people who use this program to automatically refresh for them all day and night to get gold without actually being on. There's been a breakout of them lately, but Gaia's really cracking down on that. XP

If you look on Ebay, they sell a bunch of Gaia items... Like, the pixelated kind. And Gold and stuff. I was going to buy some, but not only is it against Gaia's rules, all the stuff is botted, I'm sure. And spending real money on Gaia stuff is kinda... erm strange. Unless it's a donation item, of course.

If you look on Ebay, they sell a bunch of Gaia items... Like, the pixelated kind. And Gold and stuff. Mine will never be finished because I keep adding new stuff to my dream avatar. XD Mine will take years to finish; I've technically already accomplished my dream avatar, but there's still other things I want for different outfits. ^^;; Good luck with any quests you have now or in the future. <3 And yes, the Musketeer stuff is hawtt. One of the few things I really wanted when I first started.

I have a new quest. Its a complete 180 from my usual stuff and I don't even think most of the layering is possible! ...but I'm going to try.  regarding the botting: half of me is disgusted, and half of me thinks its absolute genius! ...ebay is gaia's blackmarket! Thats hilarious! rofl But I don't undertsand how they actually get costumers. Why risk getting banned when you can buy donation items? 5 bucks for 20k isn't a bad deal. And if you wait a few months you can make even more. They must be selling really rare things to actually get buyers on there. 0_o;

Who ever thought of botting for gold, was smart in a certain aspect, but the risk is just, eh. Not worth it, in my opinion. Plus, if you trade with anyone who has botted gold, anyone who has the gold in their account will usually get banned, even if they're not involved in 'making' the gold.
As for the ebay thing, heh. Yes, it's just like the black market. My mom insists I quit Gaia because I'm too old, so my excuse to stay is, "Mom, in a few years, I can sell all my gold on ebay for a lot of money!" XD Most of the stuff are donation items. Sometimes, you can find a huge lot of stuff or several million gold going for like, a thousand dollars. .__.

Ooh, good luck with your new quest! That avatar is cool-looking! :O Anyway, I dream of one day winning an Angelic Halo or some other extremely rare item in a Gaia lottery thing so I could sell it and be rich. XD;; Right now, I'm questing for a Roro for my friend, then I'll go back to going for the musketeer things. The only really expensive item I want now that I have the Kitsune Mask is the Golden Laurels. They're so pretty! *_* I'm thinking once I have a good amount of extra money I'll just donate enough to Gaia so I can have enough for them.

My thoughts exactly. whee They were cheaper than I though so I just splurged on them first. ...I would like to meet the person who spent 1000 bucks on gaia gold. & possibly throw a bannana cream pie on them. That would be one heck of a christmas present though. ok, you can be a millionaire on your favorite rp site or you can have the laptop to earn it yourself. Either way you learn valuable lessons: the rich control everything and as hard as you try, you'll never have an angelic scarf. ...yes those are life-lessons darnit

That was when I was new to Gaia and sadly, was a 'noob'. The kind of person who thought they were awesome, but really just failed at life. XD
@pixiestixryu: How much? I can't even remember how/where you get them. I thought they were made by like, fish or something. XD I don't know.
Haha, I'd like to meet them too. I'd like to ask them 'why'. Who has a thousand bucks to spend on Gaia gold? XD Don't rich people have better things to do than wasting time/money on Gaia?

haha, that was a whole few days ago so I've trouble remembering. xd
I think they were around 800 or so. Anything under 1k is a bargain to me.
If I were rich I'd still be here on gaia. Its all that time wasted on television that would be replaced with climbing everest and horse-riding lessons.

I only joined Gaia a little over a year ago so Golden Laurels were still expensive to me. D: I'm surprised I actually was capable of getting a Kitsune Mask. Guess I just wanted it that bad.
