Mapa's gaze shifted from the top of the 'fall to Mbaraka, and back again. She could only imagine how slipery it was, but maybe there'd be some moss or something to help keep footing. She was tensed for a few moments, as if physically and mentally preparing herself for the journey.
Mapa followed after Mbaraka's grey mass, clambering up the ledges in his footsteps. Whenever he wasn't looking back, Mapa wasn't exactly lady-like in her climbing technique, grasping onto the ledge with outstretched claws and grunting as she lifted her weight. She stopped for a minute to catch her breath. Wow...this is a lot harder than it looked...
His query had almost been lost in Mapa's mind. "Yeah, swampie," she teased. "Because you're all wet."

He continued until he found the top of the cliff, sliding along the miost surface until he came to a stop, pulling himself up. He sat down, emerald gaze falling to watch Mapenzis climbing form. A sweet smile wound its way onto his maw. "You alright?" He asked, shaking his mane and allowing the last few drops to slide down the surface of the rock, hoping to avoid Mapenzi.
He turned, gaze following the view. It was massive. "How about we split up for a bit of adventuring?" He asked. "Meet here tomorrow night?" Mbaraka suggested. It would take so long to explore the lands as a pair, so they would have to split up.

With one last heave and accompanying grunt, Mapenzi hauled herself up the last crevice and stood next to Mbraka, panting slightly. Climbing was a helluva lot harder than running.
"Yes...I'm fine...," she tried to catch her breath back, looking behind her at the rockface she had successfully climbed. A small, proud smile flicked onto her face.
Her gaze was soon fixed on the horizon like Mbaraka's. Her jaw almost dropped from its socket, her eyes wide in disbelief. How could anywhere possibly be this big?
She thought about his question for a few moments, her mind lingering on the prospect of spending a bit more time with him. But, if she had any chance of escaping a fateful feeling of love, maybe some time apart would either prove or disprove her feelings.
She smiled.
"Good idea. Call me if you need me," she said with a smirk and started to trot off in one direction.
