Being a cute couple and being in love are two different sides of two totally different coins. Kouga made a mistake, get over it. Ayame needs to move on, Kouga won't budge. Its a fact, not an opinion. You people aren't grasping what I am saying. When someone is in LOVE it doesn't matter what they promised. If Kouga was ENGAGDED to be married to Ayame, and it was OFFICIAL then yes, he should keep his promise. But it is a thing of the past. And remember what Kouga said? Even if he did remember, he isn't sure if he'll be alive after that. Thats what I ment by saving Ayame tons of heartache. As for Kagome. I think she and Hojou make a cute couple. Since YOU think cute couples are sooooo good. twisted

HA! You just said it. You can't force love. You just want Kouga and Ayame together cause they "look cute". I seriously doubt Kouga is in LOVE LOVE with Ayame. For the simple reason HE ISN'T IN LOVE WITH HER. He said it himself. I have read in ADVANCE, that Kouga really does not budge and he REALLY LOVES KAGOME ALOT. And Inuyasha is swaying over to Kikyou and back again. And I wasn't being serious about the Kagome and Houjou thing. I was useing your words against you. A Cute couple, is, a warm fuzzy bubbly couple. A cute couple also means, they look good together, not that they are madly truly deeply in love for all eternity till death do they part. rolleyes talk2hand Listen, I've done my reseach now, and I've looked up the facts. so heres the REAL ANSWER.
Kouga and Ayame Don't get together. Sorry. rofl All this fighting is pointless. I don't argue with people unless I'm right. I've been all over the place. Kouga doesn't budge. *laughs hystaricly* HA! A CUTE COUPLE MEANING ROMANCE AND LOVE??? BAH! Yeah.....right...... A better word of a couple madly in love is. A romanic couple, or a great couple. Next time, research some stuff. To be honest, no one knows who's in love with who, we are not the creator of InuYasha. Not all of the series are out yet, nor the mangas released as well. We're still on edge about this.
My point of view is that I hope that Kouga sticks to his work with Ayame. As leader of a pack, much like a king of a country, he sees what's fit for his pack and what is good for it. By marrying Ayame (if comes down to it) will reunite the two clans then it may happen. But, being with Kagome WON'T happen. I just don't see it. To be truthful, as if she would be with InuYasha, that I don't know. The whole time travel thing always got me confused.
But, we will just have to see what the creator of InuYasha has instore for us.

He did promise to marry her, but if he's going to keep his word I don't know. I hope he does cause Ayame really deserves to have her promise kept.

He did promise, but that was when they were little so you can't take it that seriously. I think though that they would be a good couple they're the same person in a lot of ways especially the way they are with relationships. If they get married that would be the best thing for both tribes becaues of the fact that he keeps chasing after Kagome every still living member of his tribe has pretty much abandoned him so if he married Ayame then he would have a whole new tribe.

That's not true. Kouga is trying to protect Ayame, in my opinion. I mean, what with the jewel shards, and chasing after Naraku, plus the chance that he won't survive; he just doesn't want to see her get hurt. And I think he only pursues Kagome to get to Inuyasha. I mean, Inuyasha and Kouga can't stand each other to start with, and I bet Kouga enjoys Inuyasha being sat as much as the audience does. ^^

It's simple as that.What i mean by playing with her heart is by him turning Ayame down for Kagome, and like i said, he makes more difficult for her.
