Calli stops in her tracks as she suddenly feels somebody teleport nearby. Calli walks forward, then kicks at an empty shell freshly out of a gun and lets out a sigh. Calli turns in a circle, looking for him, resisting the temptation to send every small bird in the immediate area after him. See how he'd like that. "Kenshin, I know its you, come on out now!" She calls out. "Game's over!"

"Alright, alright!", kenshin jested, coming out with his hands held up, trigger loops dangling from his fingers. "You got me..." Another Kenshin came out from behind another tree, same grin and pose. "Or perhaps..."
Yet another stepped out from a tree behind Calli. "I got you..."
All Kenshins had the same medlesome grin.
"En gaurd."
"En gaurd."
"En gaurd."
They holstered their empty revolvers, drawing katanas.
Let's see what you've learned since our last meet, a voice rang through her mind.
This was apparently a challenge spar.

Calli smirks slightly. She couldn't help it. She hadn't had a fun spar like this in a while now. Suddenly, Drake sprints towards the group, a stick in his hands and running up behind one of the Kenshins swings the stick at his legs, at the same time sending a blast of air towards the possible copy's upper body. If both landed, it would probably send him really spinning. "Drake, let me handle this!" Calli calls to him as she grips at her staff, which rippled under the surface with growing energy. Calli glances between the other two Kenshins and waits for an attack. She always prefered taking the offensive, ever since her first trainer had shown her that attacks usually left you open and vulnerable. There was never an attack that couldn't be countered in a stronger and more successful fashion.

Ouch!- The real Kenshin sprang into action, taking advantage of Calli's wide open position. The fake exploded into sand and blew away into the air before the fireball would even have made contact. Kenshin moved in for an ankle swipe, knocking Calli too her feet.
The sword that the clone had, however, had not disappeared- this must be his second katana! it fliped through the air and landed, piercing the ground a good foot before wobbling in place. Kenshin had her on the ground, pressing up against her firmly; the face of his katana forcing her down, she was in a precarious and provocative position with him. Thier faces were only inches apart, enough to feel each other's breath. She still had leverage to grab the katana, but what would she do?- pit her own trusty and faithful staff against Kenshin's sword or grab his other nodachi....
Kenshin stared deep into Callie's eyes in the moments that he had her on the ground. He studied her, got into her mind, and glimpsed at her inner feelings and ambitions.

Calli mentally cursed herself over and over as she lost her footing and fell to the ground with an 'oof', just barely getting her staff between herself and his sword in time as he bared down on her. Somewhere nearby, she could hear Drake calling out to her, but Kenshin was now right in her face, making it a bit hard to hear what he was saying exactly. Calli's eyes flick to the side, over to Kenshin's sword, then back to his face, where their eyes locked. She felt as if Kenshin was looking right through her, seeing and knowing everything... seeing how much pain and sadness built up from past memories was hiding just under the surface, how horrible she felt at killing her brother, the last living member of her family, how much she missed her husband, how ashamed she was of having been a POW once, almost costing her homeland everything. She didn't want anybody to see that, nobody was allowed even near those thoughts and feelings, especially not her close friends. Calli heaves with all her strength and staff against his sword, using a sudden gust of wind as well to push him away from her and her memories.

Kenshin was knocked back in the hurl of wind, but he hadn't lost footing of balance. " Calli..." he muttered under his breath, more to himself from what he saw. He knew that she knew some of his bitter past, but he never knew they related so easily. Kenshin ran a hand through his hair, fixing it in the spur of the battle. Coming back to reality, he taunted her, " I didn't know you've gotten so strong...." He took defensive/offensive stance, ready for another blow. quickly, he chanted the words that would bring on a barrage of earth attack at his summon.
