Blood gushed from Tsaos leg, as he recoiled and fell to one knee. As his sword was sticking in the ground, he knelt and tried to get up. There was pain in his eyes, as the crowds gasped in shock at what they had seen.

Virel laughed..."why did you compete???" he walked up to the quivering Tsao and smiled to the crowd as they began to scream his name...he looked down at Tsao...his body hiding the sun...his eyes flashed an eerie green again...

Tsao was in tremendous pain - but the anger overtook him as he quickly jabbed in the general direction of Virel. Would this hit him?

Virel's face turned from happiness to sheer horror...he looked down to see that Tsao had lobbed oof half his left arm...he screamed and clutched it in pure agony...he then looked up and quickly kicked a ton of sand in his enemies face...to buy him some time...

Tsao fell back screaming. He lay in the sand as his eyes began to dry. He couldn't see - he flailed his sword in the hope of hitting Virel but to no avail. He decided Virel could have got the better of him. He decided he wanted to live. So he lay down on his stomach and ptu his hands behind his head (the surrender position).

Virel picked up the remains of his arm and tucked it into his pocket...with his other hand he preped his Naginata in case his enemy attaked...when the sand cleared he saw Tsao laying in surrender...there was a bell as the announcer shouted: "well it seems we have a surrender...the bout has come to an end..." Virel clenched his hand around his weapon as 2 guards walked onto the Arena and escorted Tsao away..."next time...next time..." Virel clicked his fingers and vanished...

Tsao frowned as the guards dragged him away from the arena. He knew next time he would use his magic - and possibly some other tricks to get the better of his opponent. The crowd began to leave the arena, chatting about the fight.

Virel walked triumphantly into the Arena...he raised his arms in patriotism to the cheering crowd...he slipped his Naginata from his back and looked towad the other side of the arena, waiting to battle his next victim...

Tarea walked in slowly, her cat ears twitching. She looked over and saw Virel standing on the other side of the arena.
What are the chances he's going to be as nice as Hellendara? she thought bitterly as she drew her sword.

virel looked across and smiled..."none whatsoever my dear...none whatsoever." he laughed as large barrier began to surround him..."i don't suppose you brought any magic dear?" he sneered at her...

Virel grined and stamped the butt of his weapon into the ground..."lets just cut to the chase shall we?" he then suddenly shot forward with his blade pointed squarly at Tarea's heart..."now...DIE!!!"

Tarea was surprised. Dodging him was a lot harder than it was for anyone else. She managed, though, to get away with merely a cut on her shoulder.
