Probably both in fact the future is in Epyon or Zero's hands basically.

Think though, heavarms and trowa, another protector of sorts. Trowa is my favorite pilot because he retains humanity at the same time that he defetes the enemy not to mention he is very tallented. I see it as a blind faith. you have to have faith in your weapons and heavarms shows that faith in the ones you carea bout allows you to have faith in your blade. he is the protector of those he cares about. Is wing is the portector of all humanity then heavyarms is the protector of love. he loves noone but he also loves the ones closest to him. CAtherine could stop him because of love. and though he is red like the blood that flows from the battles of war it also shows the sacrifice of emotion as well.

Thats what makes trowa so attractive. the fact that he is a mystery and the fact that he is the one who mannages to get in to militaray positions with great ease.

Sorry I've slacked off lately. It's hard to think of specific symbolism for Heavyarms and Sandrock. Heck, even Shenlong/Altron is hard.

I gave my opinion on Sandrock I think he represents the harshness of life but at same time how forgiving it also can be in a way.

I forgot to ask if anyone thinks this fits Epyon. I know I posted it in another thread, but still.
Epyon seems to represent something more then death I think evil(pretty much) It's a terrifying Gundam for other pilots to face or let alone for Heero to pilot it first time he used it scared the hell out of him and it always possessed or influenced him so much more strongly then Zero. Zechs I think somehow managed to fend it off but there were times Epyon took over him too eg when he destroyed Barge. "You're no longer needed here, WE HAVE NO USE FOR YOU IN OUTER SPACE!!"
That doesn't sound like a line Zechs or Milliardo would say on average.

Hm interesting idea I still beleive Epyon represents the future and pure evil though as a Gundam itself.

Gundamgirl861 well what then is the symbol of Altron? When I said this one earlier like with Shenlong like one of the Chinese dragons something of myth or legend of immense power. Of course Altron also supposed to be the twin headed dragon making it more so powerful and legendary I said it before, not too hard to figure that one out. I mean "Shen long" is Chinese for "god dragon," and Altron is the one for two headed dragon so two headed god dragon something more so powerful then before.
