Rivera was on him like a flash, an alchemy circle from which she appeared drawn beneath her feet in a crackle of violet lightning. Both of her eyes were a burning amber gold, her dragon eye brilliant with her anger. Behind her was the massive serpentine dragon of the lake, hissing in the utmost distaste to this man. He burned of the fire, smelled of ashes and laughed like hell itself. This was a sanctuary, not another domain. This was off limits.

The moment that she appeared, she had already shrunk her staff back into its rod form and placed it in her wrap, beneath both sash and girdle, but easy to reach. Kairyu was in her hands, the straightsword with the dragon hilt humming with anger, burning a fierce blue of ice, not fire. Her hair was laced with the violet lightning, as she was as well.

Rivera didn't wait a moment to make a motion to run him through. She set room to dodge though. Although angered, she still kept her tact.

Rivera whirled as she leapt up after him. Her blade laced with electricity and icy water properties slashed through the darkness like delicate silk ribbons. Her whispering tone spread throughout the entire vicinity.

"How dare you disturb the ritual of La Destructorese dere Daraconae... you break the pattern of destruction and chaos by sea and storm, and you will pay for it with your soul..."

Her wings opened in shining blades of silver, thousands upon thousands of layered feathers, each a razor in the moonlit night. Her dragon sword spun and she attacked him with a massive shield. It was used as a protection barrier for fortresses, but in its concentrated form, the defense could be used for offense at the same time. The barrier was applied to her blade and sent out a reflective force rivaling the attraction and retraction of earth's axis and the lunar orbit. Trees did not even tremble before the crashed to the ground in a titanic crater. But around them, the dimension had long changed.

In this alternate space and plane, nothing was disturbed in the real world. They could fight as much as they want, but the only way their getting out is if she lets them back. This plane was sealed by her personal lock, and if she dies here, so will the man she fights. He will never escape this world without her.

Lin Yao was partly kneeling on a tree nearby, one of her knee set on a branch. Her right hand rested on the tree trunk and her left hand was holding her katana. She peered down; not even bothering of questioning herself about the distant commotion that suddenly took place. This place wasn't so peaceful after all, she noted to herself.

Again, for some reason, despite that peaceful, dreamy-like in this forest, the weather seemed to ruin it; it was cold nonetheless, just like the other time she came here. Her long pink skirt and scarf was hanging down the tree, however, she was slightly a bit to high in order to have anyone noticed that she was there. Her lips twitched downwardly, somewhat disgruntled; perhaps she was a tad too high for her own good at the moment.

She let out a small sigh. She was waiting for something or rather someone to show up. Her instincts told her that he would come back. Thus, she didn't let herself being discouraged for the long wait. White glowing orbs flew and stalled around her as a small breeze picked up, fluidly blowing her silky green hair to the sides. She brushed her hair with her right hand keeping balance all at the same time.

She almost jumped when she heard footsteps, her gaze searching for that source of noise. One would expect her to smile to see that the person she was looking for finally showed up. No she was the least happy. Anger rose, running in her veins, making her heart beat faster. Bitter reminiscences suddenly drifted in her idle mind, remembering the misery and the pain she has gone through right after that incompetent demon had abandoned her in the forest. The struggle to find her way back to Ria High, the pain that slowly made her become sore and numb to the cold and the fatigue was overwhelmed... She had almost given up and was ready to wait and die in that maze, but it was her hate and anger towards Kurai as well as her stubbornness that pushed her to the limits and helped her find her way back to her room.

That b*****d was going to pay. Still today her entire body was sore, which caused her to take a lot of time for her to get here, but eh. Nothing mattered now right? He was there, and she was going to kill him. Pay back time. Again, she saw that Kurai spaced as soon as he arrived here. Perfect. It was the perfect moment to strike. She quickly jumped down from the tree branch. Without having the least trouble to find her balance as soon as she hit the ground on the tip of her toes, quietly landing behind Kurai. Lin Yao, with a swift movement, withdrew her weapon, thrusting it forward, aiming for Kurai's neck.

"I will kill you, demon," she snapped. She looked like a wreck because of him. For the past couple of hours she had struggled coming up with a decent plan to kill him. Results? Nothing. Just a surprise attack. However, her looks would have already been a surprised. She was pale, dead pale, her nose partly red. A pair of black-purple-ish pouch were under her green eyes. Her movements were slow from staying kneeled for too long. And the coldness have also brought her body partly numb... She was not advantaged in the battle at the moment.

"here here!" Kurai leaned down seeing Lin clearly in the lake he then extended his hand out twoards where he suspected her to re-surface again. "grab my hand! ill bring you back up!". Kurai wasn't exactly thinking to clearly to think that Lin was not exactly going to be in one of her best moods. But no suprise. Kurai was a man to only act on instincts neways.

Instead of finding a wet Lin re-surfacin, Kurai was greeted by a speeding airborne Swordcase crashing straight into his face. Kurai's head was forced backwards as the swordcase richoted off his head and then flipped about in the air, there Kurai quickly snatched it and moved his head downwards to try to find Lin again, now that his head was moved quite..forcerfully..

A red mark was clearly seen on his forhead as he held the swordcase with a tight grip. "TSH!" Kurai yelled out as he saw Lin reveal herself out of the water. "Stupid gurl!" Kurai then turned to the lake and swung his arm forward attempting to throw the swordcase into the river, but because of his hand was just in the lake he didn't expect the swordcase to slip out of his hand. and in reasult. A swordcase is now flying into the wild night air.

Kurai didn't bother to even see where it went after that, instead he just tried to act cool and crossed his arms. "Whatever!" Kurai then pointed back at her accusingly. "If you had my cloak! then you wouldn't be so stupidily Cold!" Kurai froze up with that. It was rather a stupid insult when he repeated it in his mind.

Stupidily? cold...??? Kurai let out a long sigh. "It obviously is too late now.. what do you want you stupid gurl? My mind dosen't work at this bloody hour..."

Rivera was as calm as ever, she walked up to him and locked eyes, but they showed something that she barely ever revealed. Her eyes turned a pale red, a color that's never appeared before in her eyes' spectrums. What she held were the flames of chaos, woven with a feeling that meant either full loyalty or utter destruction. The priestess sheathed her sword and whispered something to him. She always spoke in whispers, but this was softer than most, not even she could quite hear it by ear.

Then as twice as suddenly as she hurled them into the dimension, the hurled them into a much more devastating one. The trip was enough to wrench any posessors from their posessees. The man, whoever he was, would be freeded. There, she could hurl a tide of water into him, tied with the purifacus spell to keep the possession from happening a second time.

EEF smiled. This was it. She made a mistake. When going to diffrent dimesions one had to pass through something he called the UNi-stream which connected all universes. It was small and he was moving fast but he show straight out escaping the girl. Though there was one problem. He could end up anywhere. In the same place or in a large sun or worse. He'd be stuck traveling a near light speed forever or even be ripped up by the sheer gravity.



Luckly he shot out over the lake but kept going until he reached the Acient Forest crashing loudly with a large boom.
