The captain's one good eye followed the fall and the subsequent cutting of the pants with an avid eye. Did the silly wench have any idea how much skin she was revealing? Almost as much as that gypsy trollop.

Not that Katherine was complaining. Oh no, quite the contrary; as Rachel neatly exposed herself to all the world the captain eyed the honey brown skin revealed with the hunger of a woman who had been at sea for weeks and hadn't gotten any since port. Which, in fact, she was.

Katherine's mouth, which had minutes ago been awash with berry juice suddenly went dry. As the master-at-arms insolently questioned her, the captain felt the rising urge to do something. Anything.

So she pounced.

Nicolas mumbled something that was more than likely better left unsaid. Ignoring the woman's words and looking to the large, pointed stone, he cocked his brow. It did not seem to be made of any precious stone, nor was it attractive in the least. This stone, whatever he found out it was, wasn't going to be worth much of anything if they brought it back with them. Hoping to find more than a handful of valuable items, the male silently determined that this piece of rock was not worth carrying about. If Jamie wished to do so, however, it would be all the more riches she could not carry.

"An arrowhead," he said finally, remembered the shape from a distant memory. Before joining The Dementia, the younger male had ventured on his own. On his own, the male quickly learned he could not manage a ship, take over others or even carry a full chest of gold. It was only when the man had reached his lowest point that he decided to set aside a great deal of his pride and join onto the ship. It would have taken more than just his pride to put up with this crew, especially when he was an elf.

After he answered Jamie, he stood up and stretched, cracking both his neck and knuckles. A smirk appeared on the male's face as he hoped the woman might repay his kindness in a way more entertaining that verbal thanks. Looking out before them, still smiling with his thought, Nicolas continued forward, "It might be something worth showing the Captain, but we're losing time standing around..."

" An arrowhead?" Jamie asked, tossing the stone into the air to catch it carefully with her unharmed hand. She looked to her bandaged left hand and gave a small smile. Surely the male would need to be thanked. The shorter female turned and took a few steps toward the male, looking up at him. " Does that mean someone made this; that there could be people here?"

She continued a few paces ahead, back in the direction they had came from before pausing to look back over her shoulder at him. Yes, reporting this to the Captain would be a good idea. Yet, Jamie longed to keep exploring. It wasn't everyday that she was given the chance to explore a forgein island.

Nicolas spoke of the two of them losing time and gave him a sly grin. " So are you coming back with me? " She asked, hoping up on a large rock covered in a bit of moss. This set her nearly at his own height, but not quite. The curvy female, placed her bandaged hand on her tilted hip as she awaited a reply. It didn't matter to much to her. Either he accopanied her back to the Captain, or he would continue to explore and perhaps find something worth keeping. She couldn't allow that.

"Hmm. I suppose I'll owe you a treat back on the ship. " She spoke aloud though more towards herself as she hopped back off of the rock and began to make her way back towards the beach. "Yet the jungle seems to be nicely shaded and hidden. " A large grin appeared on her face as she then shook her head. " No, duties first. To the Captain."

Gabriel gets out of the small bushes into a clearing, the monkey running around. Gabriel smirks, "I got you now my cheeky little friend!" He lunges at the monkey, but it happens to hop away and into some more bushes, "damnit, so close." Gabriel mumbles for a little longer, then stands up.

He looks in the direction the monkey hopped off to, and hears something like fabric tearing or being cut from that direction. As he walks toward the sound, he wonders what is on the other side of the bushes, and what it could do to that monkey!

Rachel looks at the captain, and gets pounced on. She falls over from the force of the pounce, her back landing on some soft dirt. She instinctively presses her lips to the captain's, closing her eyes.

She places her hands on the captain's back then releases the kiss. Rachel smiles but quickly the smile fades to a frown as she feels some furry thing run over her hands. She opens her eyes, not seeing the creature, but she hears it chitter. The chittering stoped and Rachel hears the sound of rustling bushes from the two bushes on the left and right of them.

The captain frowned when she felt the master-at-arm's attention shift from exploring Katherine's lips to the foliage nearby. Just when they were getting somewhere interesting, the silly wench got distracted.

With no small amount of ire, Katherine used her one eye to follow the other pirate's line of sight. A pair of large, distinctly animal eyes looked back at her.

"Is... is the monkey perving on us?"

"Is that a monkey?" She queried the islander beneath her.

Nicolas gave a shrug and looked at the woman with a cocked brow, "Now why would I know that lass?" He didn't mean to be rude, but it was true. There was no reason for Nicolas to know whether or not other humans inhabited the island, as far as he concerned it was empty.

"No reason to show the Captain just yet.." the man spoke, head faced in the direction they had once head towards. His lust for adventure had not been quenched, but as Jamie continued to speak of the jungle's shade, he realised no lust of his had been satisfied for quite some time. Narrowed eyes grabbed ahold of the woman so nearby as he thought over her words, "As I said, there's no reason to return to the Captain right now... penty of time.. of plenty of jungle to explore.." A handsome smirk remained on his, now stubbly, face. As rude as the male may have come off, he was still a dashing young man, with beautiful features. He was surely the type to make women weak at the knees and he knew of this.

Taking a step or two towards Jamie, he pulled her close to him again, "I would like nothing better than to continue on our exploration.." He let his words trail off towards the end and his eyes were drawn to the lush foliage around them, "There is so much we haven't seen.."

It was true. Nicloas could not have known whether or not there were people on the island. His answer was not taken negatively and Jamie glanced back at him as he spoke of not having to visit the Captain just yet. She caught her breath as she gazed upon the male whom had advanced several steps toward her. Everything about him seemed perfect as she was quickly pulled near him, his soft voice filling her ears. He was calm, collected, smooth and suave. He knew what he wanted and that was attractive in a man.

Jamie didn't find any of what he had said rude. It was the male behavior she was oh-so used to. She gave him a smile, leaning towards him so her face was near his. " True." Jamie whispered, sky blue eyes observing Nicolas's toned features. " There is much we haven't seen. " She added, a dainty hand brushing the male's bangs from his eye that seemed to always be constantly hidden by them. Jamie's lips parted in a somewhat inviting manner as she tilted her head to gaze at his face. His seemingly flawless face.

" More exploration of the island certainly must be done before we return to the Captain.. " Jamie leaned forward slightly more, her lips almost brushing the young elve's. " But where to begin?"

Gabriel hops out of the bushes the monkey came out from, He looks down to the ground and his jaw drops. The sight of his Combat Instructor, and the Captain in each others arms was, and wasn't the reason for his shocked expression. He wasn't shocked the two were showing affection for eachother, but he was shocked at the way they showed it.

"uhh..." Gabe's face turns a bright red, "have you seen a monkey with a black ribbon on its tail just now?" Gabriel tries to not look at the two entangled on the ground.

Rachel answers the Captain with a yes, and then she looks the other way after hearing something hop out from the other bushes. Seeing two brown boots that seemed to have legs attached to them, she looks up to see someone she really didn't need to see at that moment. It was Gabriel and his face was redder than a very ripe tomato.

Rachel sighs, and slips out from the Captain's arms and legs, "I'm sorry you had to see that..." She says, straightening out her clothes to the best she could.

"Yes, I did see a monkey hop by here recently, but I was a little... umm... busy to see if it has a ribbon on its tail..." She points over to the other side of the clearing, to the bushes that the Monkey hopped into, "It went into those bushes."

((I love your posts, Meme! You make Nicolas even better with your writing!))

Nicolas' eyes shut slightly as Jamie's lips neared his mouth invitingly. When she did not follow through with her actions, the male only smirked, feeling it was more fun to allow the female to think that she was in charge of what would or wouldn't happen. He know, without a doubt, he could have stolen that kiss more quickly than he could have taken two wenches into his chambers. And knowing the amount of women Nicolas had the fair share of "getting to know", that was saying quite a bit.

"Anywhere, m' dear," He said, his voice still calm and as cool as ever. Looking out to where they were headed, he turned and began in the direction, "We can follow this.." He kicked some dirt from the ground, making what appeared to be a very make-shift path, "..path. It doesn't appear to be very travelled, but it may answer your question about life on this island... and where there is life, there is surely goods and treasure." The thought of dubloons or anything valuable seemed to light up the beautiful eyes of the male, though the look quickly faded once he turned back to ensure Jamie was indeed following him. It was incredibly Nicolas-like to lead the woman through the jungle, intent on keeping whatever he found most attractive, whether it be price-wise or appearance.

Katherine was put off by the sudden appearence of the dark haired lad, but she felt that the mood had already been thoroughly killed by the monkey earlier. Killed and cut up and buried deep in four different continents.

Much as the loss of opportunity grieved her, the captain was distracted from her disappointment by the disrupter himself. Monkey? Katherine loved monkeys!

Her languid brushing of sand from her pants was turned into a quick check for weaponry before the one eyed captain dashed off into the thick jungle. As an afterthought, she called for the Master-at-arms and her apprentice to follow. She didn't particularly care for the company of either at the moment but it was always nice to have backup in case the monkeys got nasty. They could be vicious when they felt threatened, something Katherine knew well.

Rachel and Gabriel both look at the Captain as she dashed off, then looked at eachother. "Well...." "That was wierd" They then look at eachother again strangely, and follow the oddly cheerful captain to go find that monkey Gabe lost.

Rachel thinks to herself 'hopefully we find a nice group of monkeys... I haven't tasted monkey meat since I left my home Island... And Monkey was so tasty' Rachel slightly licks her lips t the thought.

Gabriel looked at Rachel when she was licking her lips, hoping like hell she wasn't thinking of eating that monkey! Gabriel was going to find that monkey no matter what and get Katherine to let him keep it as a pet. He did need someone or something to play with, he was only 13 and never had much of a real child-hood, even if his child-hood isn't over yet...

Rachel looks at Gabe's rather strange expression, and realized he knew she was thinking of having some monkey for lunch... She looks forward and keeps walking without a word...

Twigs, leaves and stray curls whipping at her face, the one eyed captain ran through the jungle, or at least trotted as quickly as the thick foliage allowed.

Briefly mourning the loss of her hat, left on the beach, Katherine forced her way through the veritable wall of green with one hand and held her blue bandana on with the other. Never once did the thought of slowing or turning back cross her absent mind, the intrigue that the monkey held was far too great for her to give up.

Minutes before she hit the clearing the trees had started to thin, so it was with a greatly increased pace that Katherine burst out of the verdant jungle to find herself face to face with a couple of very surprised pirates. A moment's inspection proved the two to be familiar faces from her own crew, so the hand that had been resting on her sword fell away.

A closer look revealed that one in particular was very familiar indeed, causing Katherine to raise her hand back to her weapon. Not expecting any help from a dirty elf, she directed a quick enquiry about the direction of the monkey to the trampish brunette.

A flash of distinctly monkey-like movement to her left distracted her from ever hearing the answer, and the dark eyed captain promptly continued her merry chase without further thought to her crewmen.

Nicolas had been turning back to view Jamie when Rachel, Katherine and Gabriel suddenly came running up from the direction they once came. Katherine seemed to be running at an incredible speed and by the expression on her face, Nicolas had assumed she was after something. What exactly, he didn't really care as treasure couldn't run away.

Once she asked the question of him, he lifted his eyes to her to speak, but then noticed she began off. Two fists clenched tightly at his sides as she completely ignored his presense. It was quite obnoxious that the woman would act so coldly towards him just because his ears were pointed. It may have been something he had to deal with, but it was not something he felt he needed to put up with.

"She didn't act so cold when she led me to her chambers..." the male muttered below his breath, ignoring Jamie standing only a few feet behind him. It did not occur to him that the others could have heard them if they tried and his gaze was intent of Katherine. By the even lesser clothes the blonde woman wore, Nicolas assumed there had been something between the two.. or three going on before the chase. Nicolas' expression remained scowled.

Jamie rose a brow as the male before her turned and kicke dup a path, pointing in the direction that it lead. She nodded in reply to his words. Yes, treasure. Certainly that was the main object on either of their minds. She took a step towards him, making sure to add an extra sway to her hips. Though from out of the lush foliage their Captain flew towards them. Jamie froze, eyes wide in slight surprise.

Captain Kruel seemed as surprised to see the two of them and Jamie glanced towards her superior's sword. A question about a monkey was directed towards her which caused Jamie to furrow her brow in thought. No, neither she nor Nicolas had viewed such a thing since they entered the jungle. Opening her mouth to speak she was cut off as the Captain darted off once more.

The young woman growled slightly and then shook her head, catching Nicolas's comment. "Well, then. Why care what she thinks? " Jamie inquired, turning back towards the trail they had been planning to explore. " One whom is not accepting is not worth your time." Jamie took a few more steps into the makeshift path, brushing branches from her face. "That is what I learned at least."

The first warning sign that Arrin was no longer alone in the jungle was the sound of rustling bushes, approaching rapidly.

The second warning sign was the form of Cap'n Kruel dashing headlong through the jungle, waving her sword with wild abandon.
Arrin stopped for a moment to stare after her. "What the...?" She shrugged. She'd heard shore leave after so long at sea made some sailors go a little wild, but this was the first time she'd witnessed such a thing. Hearing voices not far away, she headed in the direction the captain had come from. She pushed her way out of the tangle of vines and found a path. She also found a group of other pirates...and she really wished she had taken more time to get to know her crewmates. Awkwardly, she said "Oh. 'Ello there. Was that the captain...back there?" She gestured towards the jungle behind her.
