Lenore, her hearing keen even over the roaring of the waterfall, had heard Melantha. Frowning, she slides back into the lake, and swims over to her and Laer. She puts a hand on Lear's shoulder, and looks at Melantha.
"You know Nyoka," she starts. "You know how she is, basically. And, you have seen her enough times to know how her body is. My daughter is all muscle, because she trains extensively. Her soldiers train extensively. But, even she, and her people, know when to have fun. If you keep going on like that, you are going to blow a fuse, and be no good to anyone."
Laer nods. "She's right, you know. I had to teach her that back in our glory days," he pats Mel's leg, and back-paddles on the water.

Melantha sighs then standing she leaps over Laer with a grace unlike a normal human or elven. Landing in the water she swam under the water a few feet before coming up for air.
Turning she looks at them both smiling alittle before pulling her hair out of its hairband again. Back paddling she watches the sky before closing her eyes relaxing as she floats on top of the water.

Laer quirks a brow, and looks over at Lenore. She simply shrugs, and then starts swimming under the water again.
Laer turns over, and paddles over to Mel. "Feeling any better?"

Mel looks over at Laer nodding alittle "Yea I do thanks..." winking she throws alittle water at him before sinking under the water swimming away from him.
Resurfing she pushes her hair out of her face before looking towards Lenore before looking at Laer "So who else have you met on this manor?"

Laer chuckles. "Good, and I have only met Eirnae," he admits. "How many people live here, anyway?" he asks, looking around. "I have seen the outside of the manor, but haven't gone inside. And, from the way Lenore talks, this is like a small town. . . ."

Mel laughs as she floats there in the water "Its more like an esate with three small towns, maybe a fourth. Guardian, Centaur, Treetop are all the known towns. But rumor has it there another that no one can find.." shrugging she splashes him alittle then smirks moving away from him.
Pausing she nods "Yea Eirnae seems like a sweet woman, she perfect for Lenore. I'm glad she back in Lenore's life..." looking over towards Lenore she smiles then looks back to Laer.

Laer listens to Mel speak about the towns, and his eyes grow a little wider. "Well, it sounds as though there might be quite a few people here. . . . I don't know how I would ever meet them all."
He then nods a little when he hears Mel talk about Eirnae. "Well, she certainly is Lenny's opposite. . . ." he smiles a little. "I don't mean to say that Lenny isn't sweet. But, in many ways, they are completely different. They do seem well-matched." He waves that off. "Now, enough about Lenny. Tell me more about yourself."

Melantha smirks then shrugging she floats there in front of him for a moment before tilts her head back to soak her hair again "Well what do you wish to know about me? Mind you, I might not answer everything, I have to keep something about me to myself..." with a wink she floats backwards away from him.
Inside seem to be a battle going on, part of her was trying to figure out why she was acting like this, the other just wanted to tell Laer whatever he wished to know. It was shown very well in her eyes as they flashed every so often.

Melantha out of the trainging she been going through arched a brow. Normally she wouldn't tell anyone outside family who she was. Shaking her head she smiles "Well I'm the daugther to an elven pristress as well as a human wizard...In fact my father has close ties with Lenore's. I've spent most of my life with my mother up until last year when my father decide he was going to try and use me against my sister.." pausing she glances toward Lenore.
Shaking her head she shrugs "He just didn't expect me to turn my back on him and choose this family instead. Right now though I mostly just stay hidden in the shadows training to make myself stronger.."

Laer's face seems to harden a little at the mention of Lenore's father, but he does not comment on it. He merely nods at what Mel has to say.
"So, why are you focusing on getting stronger? Do you expect something bad to happen sometime soon?" he asks, his face relaxing a little, and the smile returning to his lips.

Mel smiles then winks "Because I want to be ready for anything. My father is ruthless, as is Lenore's. Plus I want to pay my father back for what he done to Krista's as well as her daughter..." anger filled her eyes almost instantly, it was the only feeling she let ever show.
With a smile she tilts her head alittle "Okay so you knwo alittle about me, why not tell me about yourself. How do you and Lenore know eachother?"

"Believe me, I know all about Lenny's father," Laermeluion says, keeping his voice neutral.
His eyes soon start twinkling, though, and he chuckles. "That is actually a long story. To cover the basic points, I met her while she was looking for her mother. It was about four years ago, and she had no clue how to live out in the forest, alone. So, I became her guide, and pretty much kept her alive," he says. "It took a while for me to get her to relax around me, however. Anyway, we spent the better part of two years together, before she decided she wanted to go back to London and give up her search. How about you? How do you know her?"

Melantha for the first time her face truely showed the sadness within her soul. Laughing she pushes her hand though her hair trying to block the sadness from being seen "That a funny question, beside being Krista twin I was also Lenore's lover before Eirnae came back into her life..." with that she ducks under the water making a beeline towards the shore.

Laer blinks when he hears Melantha's words, and notes the look on her face. Frowning, he starts to swim after Mel. When he get close enough to her, he gently grabs her arm, and nudges it in an upward direction, before letting it go, hoping to get her to come back up again.
He waits to see if she will come back up again, kicking his legs a little to keep his head above water.
