Physique: The elven race is know to be playful, mysterious, and cold at times. Arwen fits this description perfectly. Keeping to her self, she spends much of her time in the mansion library studying. But when around others she is lively and quick witted. When it comes to love she is a completely different person.
Clothing/Equipment:
Weapons: Arwen's weapon of choice is a 5'6" Naginata (glaive), Dark Yew bow (used very rarely) mostly while traveling or while training, and acid daggers (she has built immunity to the poison). Also carries a whip, and iron maidens (two pistols in the holster around her waist).
Items: Potions for healing and magic kept in a leather pouch at her side.
Education and Training: Much of her education and training has been obtained throughout her travels, although most was taught by her father.
Special Skills: Shadow shifting (Shadow Curse): able to change her shape, and manipulate the shadows around her, however she pleases.
Biography: Her father was a High Demon (carrier of the Curse of Shadows), her mother a soft spoken Highland Elf/Goddess. During the Feudal Wars, her parents were forced to fight on opposite sides with their own kind. In a final battle, her parents ended up killing each other, leaving Auron (her eldest brother) and Arwen behind. Arwen was born with her mother's beauty and elegance, and her father's demonic curse, and fighting style. The Shadow Curse reacts to it's host's emotions (whether they want it to or not) and unleashes an ungodly power on those around (depending on the emotion). However, each time it is used, the host is weakened in some way. If used too much, the host will die, completely consumed by it. Arwen is the last of her bloodline that carries the deadly curse. This devastating power is sought after by many.

Hair Style: blondish brown hair that falls down to brush her elbows. She often braids it back while working, or ties it back with a ribbon. When loose, it is wavy and silky, with a bright golden shine to it.
Eye Color: bright ocean blue-green eyes
Height: 5 foot 5
Physique: Calli is of average human female height, but has the elegant and graceful features of her elven bloodlines. She also has an hour glass shape to her lean body that would be the envy of many girls, both human and elven alike. She has many cuts on her hands from working with a sword and animals during her life. She also has a lot of scars and deep lacerations, hidden by her clothes, scattered all over her back and shoulders, courtesy of the time spent with an enemy camp during a war. The scars range from smooth silvery white ones that are hardly noticeable, to some truly twisted and harsh ones. She also has very small fangs.
Calli has an aristocratic, well breed sort of beauty, but with a toughness brought on by military life as well, especially in her ability to control her expressions.
Clothing/Equipment: Calli wears anything from dresses the finest royalty would wear, to something you'd see on a stable hand. Mostly, though, she wears simple pants and shirts, an occasional tunic over her shirt, and a black belt and boots, preferring comfort and freedom of movement over elegance.
Weapons: A wooden white staff about 5 feet long with a silverish red orb on top, held in a metal dragon claw shaped holder. The bottom is capped in silver, and the entire staff is covered in magical ruins. The staff has been enchanted not to break, or be harmed by fire, and serves as Calli's main weapon.
She also owns a few very sharp, but simple looking daggers, and a myriad of other weapons, but she hardly ever removes them from her weapons closet.
Education and Training: mage school from age 6 till 12, mage in a military from age 16 till 23. Spent several years training with weapons, but mostly with spells and her powers. Worked as a thief and traveling bard for several years as well, and has served in command posts, and as a teacher in recent years.
Special Skills: Fire, air and healing magic are her major skills. She knows a few basic minor neutral spells (temporary heightening of senses, increased speed, ect), materialization of wings (A pair of white and blue feathered ones) and animal empath. She can deal with most kinds of magic to some extend, but specializes at the first three mentioned.

The beginning:
Calli was born in the medevial era and grew up in a small mountainous village. Her mother was a healer, of both animals and people, and her father ran the local academy for mages and fighters. Calli's brother, three years older than herself was going to become a royal mage, and Calli seemed to be following close behind him. Both of them were very adept with fire magic. When Calli was 12, though, bandits attacked and destroyed the village, and with the help of an outside force, destroyed the school as well. Calli fled with a neighbor, her parents dead. She never saw her brother. After that, she spent three or four years as a traveling musician and occasional pickpocket, until she arrived in a small, forgotten province called Eldorahn.
Military life:
When she was 16 Calli arrived in Eldorahn, and joined the mage division of the army (called the Hunt). She got basic weapons training, and advanced her magics studies. Shortly after, though, the military had to fight off some bandits, and she saw her brother again. He was now the leader of the local bandits, named the Black Hand. Calli's knowledge of his usual actions led to many successful battle outcomes, and she flew up in the ranks. Eventually, she faced and killed her brother, and the bandit group was destroyed. Calli became the vice captain of the Hunt, and a member of the high council in the province. She fought in 2 wars between her 18th and 22nd birthday. She also married a vampire she had known since coming to Eldorahn, named Raven, when she was 20, and they started a tavern together. He was the one to turn her into the vampire she is today, though he only endowed her with the ability of long life and nothing more, at her request. Unfortunately, Raven was killed several months later by a Vampire hunter and the tavern was burned to the ground. A little under a year later, Eldorahn entered its second war, and Calli was captured for a month or two that summer. The commander of the Hunt managed to rescue her, as well as kill the other army's commander, and the second war ended. Calli retired from the military shortly after, at the age of 23, and tried her hand at teaching the academy there. When that didn't stick, she decided to travel instead. While traveling, though, she and her apprentice, traveling with her, hit a ripple in time, and ended up in this modern era.
Now:
Calli has come to the Haven in attempt to settle down again and forget the past, as well as feel at home in whatever era she ended up in. She doesn't regret the sudden loss of her past life as much as one would think. What she does dislike, though, is not understanding her new time period, and she does miss her friends occasionally, as well as wonder what became of Eldorahn.
Notes about her vampirism: Calli can go outside, will naturally live forever unless killed (immune to death by a disease though), and does not need blood as often as most vampires, since she was only given immortality when changed, unlike most, who gain tons of powers. She won't die without it, in fact, or go into any kind of blood craze over it, but if she does go without it for more than a month or so, she will become extremely weak and pale, lose her ability to perform magic, and be unable to go outside. So, even if denying herself blood won't kill her, its also not a good idea for her to avoid it either. Usually, Calli has a glass of 'red wine' once or twice every month. She also will not age past about 30 or 40 years old.
Personality: Calli seems to be a paradox of sorts. She is both amazingly open, trusting and helpful to people, but at the same time never speaks of her true emotions, her past, or asks for help. She smiles a lot, but those smiles rarely ever seem to actually reach her eyes. She acts cheery and kind, upbeat a lot of the time, but in all honesty finds herself often falling into darker emotions. She often refuses to let others help her, even though she tries to help them as much as she can. She also can be rather sensitive, even though she tries to act serious and harsh. She was never meant for military life with her personality, which is clear to anybody that meets her, and yet she constantly tries to act as cold and emotionless as those she is usually around.
