It'd have to be Aeris on the top of my list. She's just, hell, Aeris man... I could dedicate a book to why I like her most, but, I don't have the time...
After that is Tifa at a close 2nd, and Yuffie running up 3rd.

I see alot of sephiroth fans on here, so i'm going to try to even it out in cloud's favor. after cloud, then i'd say , tifa, areis, barret, redXII, hten sephiroth. hehehehe.

Cloud is by far the best FFVII character! with his inner turmoil about his past and his conflicted interests between Aeris and Tifa, he is quite the compelling hero! But sephiroth gets my vote for ultimate villian ever! No one is as twisted and diabolical as he!
